Was in Chicago for a few days and Duck Inn was my first stop! It was my second time dining here and it was just as good as I remember. I made a dinner reservation and requested a rotisserie duck ahead of time. We were seated quickly and service was fantastic overall. The ambiance is relaxed yet classy. The dishes we ordered included:- duck wings- brussel sprouts- rotisserie duck- fried chicken dinner (including fried chicken plate, crab dip, and ice cream sundae)Everything was absolutely delicious! There were only three of us but we barely had any leftovers because the food was too good. I'm obsessed with the duck wings and rotisserie duck. The flavors are perfect and it's tender and juicy. An essential restaurant to experience!

Great spot! The food and the drinks are very good. The burrata was amazing! We had the gnocchi (it's ok), the short rib (amazing), fried chicken thighs (amazing) and the squash blossoms (alright). The service is pretty good, attentive, on point and not at all overly friendly. Good team overall.,The patio is great but a long wait for what so we sat inside. I did like the slightly dimmed room. It's an old house and kinda cute.

I recently visited The Duck Inn in Chicago to satisfy my duck cravings, and it did not disappoint. We started our meal with their duck wings, which were juicy, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Honestly, we should have ordered another round! For our entree, we had the rotisserie duck (be sure to call ahead and pre-order this dish). It came with duck fat potatoes and a strawberry kale salad. The meat was succulent and definitely worth the commitment. The ambiance was delightful. Inside, the restaurant is charmingly duck-themed, but we chose to sit on the outside patio, which had a great vibe, especially with the lovely weather. The staff was incredibly nice, though the service was a bit slow, and it took unusually long for our food to arrive, which is why I'm deducting one star.Despite the slow service, The Duck Inn is definitely a spot worth visiting, especially if you love duck!

I'd never had duck before going here and I can't stop dreaming of it. This place is a vibe and deserves every bit of its Michelin Bib Gourmand designation. The patio out back is fantastic and the service and music are amazing. The cocktails we ordered were multifaceted and delicious but the star of the show was the rotisserie duck with duck potatoes and salad in the middle. Don't skip the duck jus, and make sure you reserve your rotisserie duck beforehand when you make your reservation.

Came for a birthday dinner! Preordered the rotisserie duck and they gave us a cute rubber duck to put on the table! Surprisingly, the rotisserie duck wasn't our favorite dish of the night, we also waited about 40 minutes between our last dish and the duck being served which was strange - they did give us a free dessert as an apology though which was appreciated! The beef tartare, burrata, and scallop & pork belly were all 5/5! The flavors were all fresh and rich! The duck was a 3.5/5, not sure if it was also due to the amount of time we had to wait for it, but it wasn't as great as we thought it would be... the meat was still tasty though and not dry at all!

Amazing place. This is my second time here and this time we sat outside. The staff was super helpful. The menu is small, but everything is extremely delicious note to self don't ever order the Mojito nothing but slushy ice. But the drink with the Mezcal oh my God, it was amazing. Everything is pretty much à la cart. The fries are shareable. If you do get the duck fries, get the duck fries with the caramelized onions and cheese sauce to die for.

Service was excellent. My son the foodie says that if he came again he'd go for the wings or leg. He and his Dad had the signature duck plate, and said the breast portion was just ok, but that the other parts were wonderful. My daughter had the hamburger, and I got the farmers salad. All were good.

A friend and I came here one Saturday afternoon. It was kind of packed so we sat at the bar. We've never been here before it was just the closest thing that we saw on a Father's Day weekend we were coming from an art show so we didn't wanna drive all over town just to be told there were no seats or we would be waiting 2 to 3 hours because we didn't have reservations . We were immediately seated when we got to the duck inn. it's a quaint restaurant a neighborhood restaurant that sits on the corner. The decor reminds me of like an old pub or something like that but The menu was pretty decent but we didn't know what we wanted to order so we both just kind of stayed on the safe side and got the wings and fries and a drink and when I tell you this food was so good. We both said we needed to come back. Our waiter was prompt. They kept our waters full. Our drinks full. The food came out right on time. It was hot, just a really good experience we enjoyed ourselves

There are interesting choices on the menu, but maybe next time because my sister ordered the rotisserie duck ahead of time, necessary to make sure it's cooked in time for your reservation. We did explore with some starters though, the cheese curds are the good kind- light and crisp, the farmer's salad had fresh in season ingredients, and the brussels sprouts were cooked just right. It seems the owner must be a music lover as a vinyl collection & turntable were in the center of the space, proudly displaying a Bowie picture disc. The bathroom was extra special for me, a visitor from Minnesota, since it had the Prince symbol identifying the bathroom as all gender; it was purple inside too! Holiday decorations all over gave an extra special glow. The servers were attentive and "hip" and happy to answer questions. The duck arrived in reasonable time and was simply duck perfection, including the duck fat potatoes. I didn't think I had room for dessert, but I knew it would be special too, so we spilt a chocolate beignet 3 ways. I may have eaten a bit more than my share!

When you think of The Duck Inn, you think of duck, right? And you should, because the duck is wonderful, and that alone is worth the sprint to Bridgeport. But what if I told you that they also served the best seafood I've had in 2024, Walleye over clam chowder emulsion. Generously portioned, crispy skin, cooked to perfection, it's the best walleye I've ever had at a restaurant and it topped all of the Dover soles in recent memory. Escargot ravioli with spring peas and truffles was the perfect accompaniment to my walleye. This was an exciting and unique dinner. I loved it! The Duck Inn is only an 11-minute drive from Fulton Market. And there's ample street parking. Order your rotisserie duck in advance on their website, but definitely order the walleye and escargot ravioli, too! Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of the walleye. The Duck Inn2701 S.
