My friend and I came here for happy hour on a Friday evening. It was not too busy when we arrived and were seated upon arrival. Food/Drinks:My friend and I got a flaming bowl drink to share. It was a standard tiki drink, and it was delicious. For food, we ordered the fries, spinach dip and some maki rolls. The food was pretty good. The prices for happy hour were pretty affordable. Service:Service was a bit slow at first. Given how large the restaurant was, our server was always running around. Our food and drinks came promptly after ordering though. Everyone who interacted with was pretty friendly!TL;DR - not a bad happy hour spot with good deals and good drinks

Good happy Hour. Maddy was a great server. The hostess was not friendly at all, did not greet me, and seemed generally bothered that I was there but Maddy certainly made up for it. The food was pretty good. All apps are half off for HH until 7pm, except crab cakes. So a great deal to share with your buddies. Lots of fun, pretty drink choices in cool mugs. The Artichoke dip was really a standout. I loved all their dipping sauces and green salsa. Cute little patio with cabana grass hut bar and different types of seating arrangements. 3 star solid review. 1 star more for Maddy, she rocked, and a great happy hour. I deducted a star less for hostess and the worst parking issues ever in old town Scottsdale.

Fri-YAY Happy Hour 3p -7p! THIS IS THE PLACE & We love it. All appetizers are 50% off! We enjoyed the inside bar since it was 95 degrees outside and all the tables with shade & misters were taken..... but yes, they have misters outside! I included the inside pics too because it is just so fun. You can come as a couple like we did or there is so much space for bigger group. We had sushi, always SO GOOD ( forgot to snap a pic, we inhaled it) & they give you a big pile of ginger. Also had coconut shrimp and chicken fingers with 3 yummy sauces. If you are in Old Town - GO, you will love it!

Located in the perfect spot, by the canal! Their outdoor sitting area is so cool, but we couldn't get seated there, it was so crowded. Inside is still cool, bar vibes.We ordered an appetizer platter and two drinks, appetizer platter was a bit disappointment as the both quantity and quality... it wasn't bad though!Drinks were good, but since it's so crowded- their service is pretty slow. But still i'd come back for their cool vibes!

Cute little tiki bar with some of the best tiki glasses, including a fun cat and a happy Buddha. Loved the Zombie Kitty with fruit juices, light and dark rum, and a 151 floater. Would order again. The Happy Buddha came with Cutwater Rye Whiskey, lime, cinnamon, & pineapple. Not our favorite cocktail, but that's okay. Fun little outdoor bar. The bartender wasn't particularly friendly. Seemed to be bothered when we asked for things or when she had to check on us. Grabbed a drink and closed out. Lots of options in the area, nice happy hour until 7pm.

We have been to the Drunk Munk four times. The Almond Joy is my wife's favorite drink. The waitresses are always friendly. I think this place has the potential to be so much better and have more customers if they change the music vibe to more "fun" music, such as the 80s or Polynesian music, or invest in a DJ. We were there on Saturday night before St. Patrick's Day and the place was dead at about ~ 8 PM. I feel bad because this place has so much potential and I would like to see them become great.

Such a cute place but the service sucked. It was our last night in town, we love a fun restaurant. We ordered apps and entrees, the entrees came out first and I explained to the food runner(a server from another section) that we ordered apps first so we would like those first, she shot back "well the entrees came up first" and sat down our entrees. Lame.And to her I say, girl... when you're off work and eating out, you would hate for that to happen. So next time, just take the food back and work it out with the server and the kitchen.

My friends and I came here after brunch to just drink. Didn't have a reservation but we were sat right away. We just wanted to drink before our reservation at Montauk. One thing that was a bit off for us was our server. She was kinda weird. As soon as the hostess led us to our table, before we even got to sit down the server asks us from a table away, how many people and I tell her 6. And she asks are you guys going to drink? Geez like can we sit down first. I just tell her yeah and she's like I'm asking because I'll be your server or something like that. And the tone in her voice wasn't very friendly. And then she comes and checks all of our IDs after we order the champagne tree. When she sees my ID she says omg we have the same birthdays, so I was like oh really, and she's like "well yeah but you're like 5 years older than me." Um ok..? do you want a cookie or something? Anyway I can't really comment on the food much because we literally just came to drink after a big brunch. We ordered the chips and guac, the champagne tree, and like 4-5 rounds of shots. But I felt like the chips were so oily they were hard to eat. Guac was good though. And I think everyone liked their champagne. Each glass had different fruit flavor. Would I come back again? Probably not. There's nicer places to go around the area. This place definitely looked better from the outside than from the inside.

The best! Always great overall, have been going for 5 years and the best happy hour! Best place for a mojito or Mai tai!
