Got the brisket bowl combo - the meat is very flavorful and fatty, not tough at all. The proportion of meat to rice is great as well; I feel like sually with this kind of dish there would be way too much rice, but in this case there was just enough for all the rice to be covered in sauce. The sides of soup, kimchi, and salad were good too, and they were nice to cut through the fattiness of the rice bowl.Overall, I think it could be 2 reasonably sized meals, so the value is great.

The story behid The Deopbab is very interesting , it was created during the pandemic with a special menu for delivery only: bowl rice, and is now operating within Shaburina for lunch only (to go) So that's why it's a little bit confusing not seeing a huge "DEOPBAB" sign but Shaburina instead. It's located in Redmond next to Microsoft in this new condo area and new retail . Parking is quite easy, either on the street or there's free retail parking.I had to wait 30 mins for my order to be ready (so keep that in mind, before showing up to pick up your food) The meal was so yummy!! Rice bowl was juicy and the meat was beautifully cooked. I also order a chicken pan seared, similar to chicken nuggets but I'd stick to the bowl rice. It's a complete and delicious meal. I'm definitely coming back to try the buffet at Shaburina

The brisket bowl is actually great, we bought a second and both really enjoyed it. it comes with nice sides like cabbage, and kimchi, soup as well. It does feel like a marketing style that a lot of shops have done recently where they charge a higher price but give more food and sides, feels like a way to force people to buy the extras but masking it as a singular built in price. Pretty good and worth the value though. I will say their marketing for this food restaurant is so bad. I came during regular hours and the sign said CLOSED, and then after walking around and finding no other entrance, I pulled the door and it was open and they waved me to the back counter. Like cmon it's almost as if they're hiding. I didn't even see a noticeable sign for "DEOPBAP". I also called the number 3 times and didn't get pickup. I was worried they actually wouldn't be open. just bad logistics.

5 stars for the food - 4 stars for the number not working to order. I was able to get through after a few spamming calls - felt like a robo caller lowkey. But, when I tell you it was worth the calling and waiting. The flavors were on point. I never had this style of food so I was a bit confused on how/what to eat/pair so I just went for it. The serving size is huge & shareable for sure. I loved the way the food was set up to go with the tray and the branding. It was clean & they provided all of the utensils which was a bonus! It's Inside of Shaburina so just call ahead, pop in & pick up like your an uber eats driver, haha.

Each meal has soooo much food! Perfect for a lunch combo. Only thing to note is that the beef brisket bowl is really sweet but they LOAD IT UP with the fatty beef slices, so yummy. I just wish it was a tad less sweet for the meats. The salad that came with the meal was also delish, loved the dressing. The staff here are so nice and the service is amazing!

The Deopbab is the rebirth of a take-out only rice bowl dish that the team at Shaburina created during the pandemic to keep their business afloat. When the AYCE hotpot business restarted, they stopped these takeouts. Per customer requests, they are bringing back these rice bowls for lunch time takeout only and giving it a separate identity - The Deopbab.Every bowl is sold as a set. They all mostly about $20 a piece. When I called to place the order, they gave me a time estimate; I purposely arrived late to give them more time. Service is fine, no issue. The interior, which is Shaburina, is a cute place. Chadol (Brisket) Deopbab, $19 - 4.5 StarsMenu: stir-fired thinly sliced beef brisket, onions, and scallion in chef's special sweet soy sauce on rice topped with a fried egg. This dish is sweetly savory, good for folks who like the sukiyaki flavor. The beef brisket is tender. It reminds me of a beef donburi, maybe a sukiyaki beef donburi with the veggie mixture. It's a good dish.Kimchi Fried Rice, $18, add tofu, $1.20 - 3 StarsThe bowl is very hefty, loaded with the kimchi rice. The rice is too wet. They should be a bit drier, so it's not a giant clump that I need to dig into. After eating soup, some of the salad, and most of the banchan (see below), I only ate the egg on top and a fifth of the bowl. This is a very carb-heavy dish that will easily last me another 1+ day especially if I add veggies to it when reheating. Each order/bowl is served with:- a side salad with sesame dressing. The salad is finely shredded cabbage, same as the style served at a local katsu restaurant. - a light clear broth soup with tempura crumbles (I don't think it is miso.) - two banchan sides, which was kimchi and pickled veggies. Both are good, especially the latter.Everything is packaged in a take-out tray and custom-sized bag. I am conflicted because I think it is a nifty design, but it is a lot of garbage and recycling. If I lived nearby, I would want to give them back the tray and save some tree.

Super deluxe takeout. Walking back into my office, carrying an entire TRAY (in a nice plastic bag) full of food for myself, you wouldn't believe the swagger I was imbued with. I was seriously the coolest kid on the block.Ordering from this place is like getting into a speakeasy. You gotta know the secret code. Apparently even the number listed online is wrong. Here is their actual number: 425-658-7185. You can thank me later. "Deopbab" is located inside of Shaburina, but there is no signage or anything. You just have to know that it exists, find the secret phone number online, and whisper the password "Deopbab" to the host. They will give you a knowing nod and then take you to the checkout stand in the back corner. Each order comes with the rice bowl, salad, soup, pickled vegetables, and kimchi. All the sides were fine, but nothing beats the braised sweet potatoes, potato salad, and fish cakes from KBBQ restaurants. The best part of the sides was how they contributed to the aura of luxury. Taking each side out of the tray, unboxing them one by one, it reminded me of opening 5 Christmas presents in a row as a child. The meat of the meal, the rice bowl, was great. Super addicting sauced up rice, delectable egg with yolk that flowed so picturesque when I punctured it with my spoon, and super thin beef brisket that begs you to put too much into your mouth at once. And how good it smelled during the drive back from the restaurant to my office. Everything is neatly packed into a paper tray and placed inside a spacious plastic bag. The only oddity I found was no utensils and napkins were included, so if you plan to eat this outside then make sure you ask for some.Overall very satisfied with this experience. But it is a bit pricy, especially considering it's a takeout lunch. After tax and tip you're looking at almost $25. Very solid choice for a nicer lunch once in a while though, especially if you don't have the time for KBBQ.

I love to try different foods and these Korean Comfort Rice Bowls at Deopbab are wonderful. I came here for a Yelp Elite Experience and we ordered a Kimchi Fried Rice Bowl for my son. After waiting at the front with no one to help us I eventually found the lone worker fervently assembling orders off to the right side inside the Hot Pot restaurant. The worker was very busy and told us up front it would be about 45 minutes for our orders to be ready. I expected it to be busy and was prepared to run an errand while we waited for our food so it turned out okay. My son liked his Kimchi Fried Rice Bowl with Spam and the sides of salad, soup and toppings that accompanied it. When we picked up our order about an hour later, the sole employee was very thankful and apologized for the delay. My only knock is that the poor sole employee out front could really use some help. She was working nonstop and easily could have used a couple more people to help out or at least greet the customers up front.

Called to put in my order and was told it'd be an hour, so went in then. I wasn't helped for 20 minutes after I practically chased down the server, annnnnd it's nearly impossible to get through on the phone. It didn't seem busy, the hostess/waitress just seemed in a mood. She told another person it would take 15 minutes to get a soda, but then did bring it to her 5 minutes later, which made me wonder if she might have said it'd be 15 minutes to try to dissuade her from ordering it. The food was delicious, I'm docking a star for the quite less than stellar experience of getting the food itself Definitely felt like a burden on them/her.

Deopbab- sub restaurant take out only inside hot pot restaurant Tips: call in and order ahead. Food was good- we got 4 of the 6 Deopbab and my favorite was the bulgogi. Each bowl comes with soup (clear broth with fried rice puffs, cabbage salad with sesame dressing, Kim chi and pickled sides. Plenty to eat- comprehensive meal. * Katsu one stay hot and crispy on top even after a 20 min drive home. *Joul- was alright, prefer it with the kimchi friendly rice. Presentation is awesome. Though it makes me sad all the waste and product used. Service: unable to comment. I went during an event and service was slow. No stars taken as this was off event I imagine. Parking: street parking, or garage. Garage had some construction in the hallway, so I had to walk around building to get back to car. Ambiance: take out only. Value- fair. Averaging $20 total per bowl after taxes. Came with variety of items. Recommend- yes, if you're in the area and looking for casual comprehensive meal.
