Went during the lull between brunch and dinner since they can get pretty busy during peak hours. We started with their fried shrimp and animal fries, both were really good! Batter on the shrimp was well seasoned and light and crispy, with a divine Cajun aioli. Animal fries were better than in n out, with a cheesy sauce and well fried fries. Our next round we went with two sides, the Mac n cheese and cornbread. Mac n cheese sauce was really good, noodles were slightly undercooked, but I appreciate a little bite to my noodles. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cornbread because it was very herby, the rest of my table enjoyed it! Entrees we went with the catfish chips and Singapore noodles. Shrimp and noodles were really good, sauce and seasoning weren't overpowering and had a good mix of veggies! We will definitely be back!

If I could, I would give a zero to this establishment. Food service institutions are in the Hospitality business. Hospitality is defined as: The friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.Let me say none of the aforementioned attributes were displayed to me and my wife when we went to The Delta on Sunday morning August 11, 2024We arrived at approximately 11:11am There were 2 guests in front of us. There were 2 employees behind the bar. Which is adjacent to the entrance. No one was at the maitre'd desk. Neither of the employees behind the bar made eye contact , greeted or acknowledged us in any way. After approximately 3 minutes I asked the guest in front of us if they had been waited on and they replied,"no, the guy said he'd be right back". They said someone was going to check on their reservation and that's all they knew and they said that was a while ago. I then asked one of the employees behind the bar if we could get someone to service us and his reply was let me check. Approximately 2 minutes later a gentleman wearing sunglasses comes out to help the guests in front of us. He too never introduced himself or welcomed us. He did ask if we had reservations. When he confirmed that we did not have reservations he indicated to us that they were completely booked for the day (mind you the entire restaurant was empty except for the 4 people (2 parties of 2) that were seated in the dining room. He informed us we could eat at the bar, the bartender can provide drinks and we could order from the full menu there. Once we seated ourselves at the bar, the two employees behind the bar were talking to each other. No greeting or instructions on ordering. My wife saw the QR code on the bar, but working in hospitality, I believe a greeting is standard so we waited. The bartender came to our end of the bar a few times but didn't acknowledge us until 6-7minutes after we sat down. Ultimately we decided to leave. The poor service set the tone and I refuse to pay for poor service. I really wanted to like this place but they really need to get their act together and remember they are in the hospitality business. Very disappointed and will not return

Ambiance: Came on a Saturday at 11am and it was chill. We were literally the only people there. By 1pm a DJ showed up and it was nice Server: Jordan was our server. He was super cool and I appreciated his vibe. He made sure that we were taken care of. Food: Brioche French Toast with bacon and eggs: I personally was not a fan. It was not brioche bread and it was a little more drenched in berries than I would like. The scrambled eggs were delicious, I got 2. The bacon has a cherry dressing that I'm not a fan of but I am also very much a fan of savory being savory and sweet being sweet. Grits are more cheesy than I'm used to. My friend loved them, I prefer my grits more southern Bottle less mimosa: They give the champagne in a glass and you top with whatever flavor (which is what I prefer).

Off jump, the server Jordan was cool. Bro is funny and personable. I got the breakfast burger. The breakfast burger was good. I give it a 7 out of 10. It's just a good burger and will leave you satisfied. The hash brown that came with it was overcooked though. The ambiance was nice.. it is a good place to sit, chat, enjoy the vibes and grab a drink. The staff are honestly the people who make the place worth going to because of how genuine they are. I recommend checking it out and judging it for yourself.

Offering great value with the bottomless option and providing excellent, friendly service, and the music was great! However, my expectations for the food weren't high, and unfortunately, it didn't exceed them.Specifically, the shrimp and andouille gumbo hash was quite salty. Thankfully, the Top of the Hill dish came to the rescue, and pairing its rice with the gumbo helped balance out the flavors. Overall, while there were no real disappointments, the food simply wasn't anything special. This spot is just okay overall.

We were hosting family, and someone had suggested to order The Delta. We ordered a bunch of different items to share. It was right when the restaurant opens, and we picked up immediately when it was estimated to be ready. Since our order was so large, I think most items had been sitting a while and cooled. The Delta Wings weren't crispy, Cornbread became dry, fries soggy, etc. The Singapore Street Noodles was my favorite dish, had a little kick to it, generous shrimp, and bouncy noodles. I also liked the Southern Cajun Corn Elote, but the corn wasn't in season (small kernels). Overall, if we had dined in, or had a smaller order, I imagine the quality would've been better. The flavors were good.

My favorite go to breakfast/brunch spot when im Chicago. Very quant but with a soulful vibes in my opinion. Definitely get the catfish and chips and the chicken and waffles won't disappoint. Speciality drinks are tasty but they did the thing with my Dutty (Dirty) Martini. It makes you just want to just come back just for that.

The men who welcomed us at the door and the bartenders, both provided excellent customer service. The biscuit was good but the chicken on the biscuit was not fresh at all. It tasted as if it had been warmed up in the oven or nuked in the microwave. And the marmalade spread tasted old and pasty. I was able to order a side of hot sauce, which made the chicken taste a little better. But for those prices, I shouldn't have to doctor up my food.We sat at the bar, and the music was so loud we had to lean in to talk to each other and the bartender or yell at each other to have a conversation.Lastly, I can understand $16 for a good cocktail but $16 for a shot of Jameson is ridiculous.

I have been here a couple of times because the bartenders are nice and it is a nice atmosphere. They have a private back room which is great for larger groups. This review is only for drinks as I haven't had chance to try food when here, but it does look delicious! A $16 maker mark old fashioned starts at $16 which is misleading as it's actually $25! Just to hard to justify for what you get and I hate that it feels like it's misleading. If prices were closer to what's advertised it would feel better and I would likely order more drinks and stay longer.

Wow this place was a bit of a hidden gem! We came for Friday night happy hour which was 5-7 and half off their cocktail menu which included the large formaT drinks. I will say... "large format" is definitely generous as it wasn't much larger than a normal cup and def was on the low side for alcohol but it was delicious! Getting just a cocktail was a much better deal though, certainly wouldn't pay full price for either but also tried the lemon squeezy and it was alright. For dinner we got the catfish and chips and the burger and split them. Both were delicious! Especially the burger. Would come back for that alone. The fries were good, I liked the seasoning but personal preference would be skinnier. The cornbread was also super good! Different from any I've had, a unique flavor but I liked it. Waitstaff was great. Music was good. Overall highly recommend!
