I grew up in the area as well as my wife. The reason for the 1 star review is not only for the rude service recently where it seems as if they do not recognize you as a regular you might as well not exist. The other problem I have is the price of the food and the quality of it as well. The fries seem like they come out of a $3 pre frozen crinkle cut bag that they got from stater brothers and the onion rings are soggy and fall apart. This is food I would expect from a person barbecuing at a little league or softball tournament at half the price. Lastly, they decided to charge us for their "Candy rub" wings that we never received and it was a headache getting it refunded.

Ordered the honey ham with Swiss and the pastrami on rye to go. Got home and dug into the sandwiches. My girlfriend's ham and Swiss sandwich the bread (sourdough)? Was a little bit on the stale side. My pastrami on rye was good. Both sandwiches were very filling and contained enough meat to almost make another sandwich. Not scrawny like Subway sandwiches. Was a little disappointed with having stale bread, especially at $12-13 a sandwich. Sandwiches were made quickly and didn't have to wait too long.

I used to come here decades ago.Just stopped in to buy gift certificates for Christmas. It's still clean.The place is welcoming and everything is still reasonably priced.Remember to support your local mom and pop establishments. They've been around for us before, during and after the pandemic- let's make sure they're here moving forward for many years to come!

A true locals pub and grille. About 16 brews on tap. Even some wine on tap. No liquor here. Food is pub quality. Pool table, patio seAting also and great service. Just remember that's a Lovas bar so everyone know everyone. You'all remember the show Cheers. This is Rancho Penasquitos version of the show.

This is a little GEM in the PQ Vons shopping center! With many choices for sandwiches this place tops them all! Food has always been great! They have tons of beer on tap! ( see photos )Our go to is the Smoked Turkey sandwich.. Its so big my husband and I will split it for lunch. All of their fried food is good too, French fries and onion rings never disappoint! They always have specials! ( see my photos )I always call in my order. By the time i get there its always ready!- Support Local! - Located in the Von's shopping center near the OLD Rite Aid

Stopped in to have a beer and dinner after work, the Ultimate BLT was amazing! I love bacon and this did not disappoint at all. Prices were good and the atmosphere was good. Will be coming back again for sure!!!

Best local burgers and sandwiches for the best price (frys were a little dry today, but that's not normal). I've never encountered an unpleasant employee in all my life (I've grown up going there). Great little sports bar, there's a pool table and the whole place just has a home like vibe.
