The food was perfect! Very clean environment! Staff were super attentive!! Will be back for sure!!!

I had high hopes for this place, but something happened along the way.There are high reviews, but seem to be dated.Looks like Jerry L is right on the ball: Its mind boggling.Food: The meat scramble with toast was barely edible. Cook must have dumped a pound of salt on it. $14 for a scramble is a good price, but it wasn't any good. The bacon was petrified and the potatoes undercooked. There was really nothing good about it. I could do a better job at home and I am not a good cook.Service: Almost non-existent. Empty place and still the waitress was nowhere to be seen. One coffee refill when my cup was empty for a while. Overall: Will not be coming back. There are way too many options in the area. I like trying new places to add to the rotation, so this is the downside.

This will be a strange review. LOLThis place is very small, definitely nothing fancy.... When we walked in I felt like maybe we should walk out, but the reviews are good. It was surprisingly good. The Huevos Rancheros was amazing. Full of flavor. Probably one of the best we have had. The bacon avocado omelette was delicious too. The food was good but not sure this spot is a place I would revisit. More because of the vibe than the quality of food. If I am going to go "out" and spend $..... the experience matters, right? My husband ordered Rye bread and I asked for a side of hollandaise- we didn't get either one, and we were finished with our food before she ever came back. :( What was really interesting to witness.......... The one gal came out of the "kitchen" and the door stuck, she couldn't open it but less than halfway, because of a high chair blocking it. As I watched her struggle to push through the door, (not carrying anything) she left it that way, and went to a table to take orders. About 2 mins later a waitress tried to come through with a full tray of drinks, as the door unexpectedly (to her) jammed........ the tray fell out of her hands and everything fell to the floor and shattered. Sad it could totally have been avoided, nice way to look out for your co-workers.

HORRIBLE!!!!How this place has so many good reviews is mind boggling.This is a greasy spoon and not a good one either. The food is flavorless!!! And breakfast food is hard to screw up.You can just tell by the pictures that this food wasn't going to be good.The bathrooms are disgusting.The interior is dated and worn out. And the servers don't want to be there and it shows.Stay away!!

Let me start off with saying this place is terrible, for someone who loves to try new places and have new experiences this was far from a good experience. The food was mediocre nothing special about it wouldn't go out of my way to get it and save yourself the time of driving out here if your planning on it you'd honestly be better just going to a fast food restaurant the food would be better there. The service was terrible the server had an attitude from the start and kept asking us if we were ready mind you she didn't even give us over 30 seconds before asking when passing us the menus what we wanted to drink/eat considering we hadn't even had the chance to looo at the menu she was very impatient and rude and her service is far from outstanding came here at 12pm and she was the only server very unfortunate. 0/10 for me will not ever bother coming back here again and wouldn't ever recommend it and place is cold and empty and the a/c was also dripping water on someone in my party. nothing great about this place at all I'd stay far awayFrom here.

This was our first stop for brekkie after dropping off mom at the airport. Sis and I are not morning people, so we needed some sustenance to wake us up and get us back on the road for the drive home.I am forced to leave a star because Yelp won't let you slide without one. However, this place needs to readjust their hours. We pulled up slightly after their advertised opening time of 6:30 am. The lights were on, but the door was locked. The lights behind the door to the kitchen were on, so clearly, employees were inside. Can't give a full rating since we did not get to experience the food at this supposedly Yelp-worthy restaurant. All I know is that we were starving and left after waiting about 20 minutes, and they STILL had not opened when we drove off. Not cool, and I would suggest maybe coming at 8 am because maybe at that time they would finally unlock the door?! Who knows? Go ahead and chance it if you dare. Good luck!

My friend and I visited on a Sunday around 9:30am, and we were seated within 5 minutes after wiping down a table. We didn't realize how small the seating area was, so we will keep that in mind for the future as we wanted to linger more but didn't want to hold up a table. This location is more a grab and go quickly type of breakfast location. The food was served very quickly, though the coffee refills were a little too spread out for my liking/consumption. I definitely like 2-3 cups of coffee while dining for breakfast to put a pep in my step. The Veggie Skillet was priced at $13, and pretty comparable to other skillets at other locations. I enjoyed the freshness of the veggies, and I did enjoy a side of hollandaise for $2 to spruce it up. I do wish they had a Spinach Benedict as that would have been what I opted for. All of their Benedicts had meat, so there wasn't a good meatless option to choose from. Overall, the food was tasty and decently priced for a breakfast location. When in the area and wanting a quick dine in and go breakfast, I can see myself returning.

We ordered a Tropical French Toast and Country Fried Steak as our meals. Tropical French Toast was stuffed w cream cheese and had 4 pieces to it. It's very filling on its own so we are glad to not have gotten it as a combo. The Country Fried Steak was solid. The hash browns were super crisp but felt like a portion on the smaller side. The steak was tasty and the gravy had a good flavor and texture, I do wish it came w a bit more gravy though. We replaced the toast for the biscuit and gravy and were pleased that the biscuit wasn't dry. The ambiance is very intimate and casual/homey vibe. We came on a Saturday afternoon and had no wait for a table!

Food: My partner and I ordered the tropical French toast which had a cream cheese in between 2 slices of French toast. It is topped with grilled mango and coconut shavings. The chicken fried steak was flavorful and I love how crispy the hash browns are. The biscuits & gravy was flavorful and I love the homemade biscuit. Service: Our waiter was very kind and helped us with our meal. It seemed like there were a lot of people who come back often that they even update the workers about life. Ambiance: It's family oriented and the portions are decent. It's clean inside and there's ample parking in the lot.

Based on Yelp reviews in Gilbert, AZ for breakfast, my family and I decided to give this place a try. When I arrived, I was not expecting a small restaurant in a plaza area. I had trouble finding it at first because I thought it was its own building. It is located next to the Albertsons along with other little shops next door. The atmosphere had a "Ma and Pa" type feel to it. I could tell this was a local's place as most customers there were on a name basis with the staff. Some customers walked in and the staff immediately knew where they liked to sit and what they wanted off the menu. That was pretty cool. What I also enjoyed about this place is that it is family/kid friendly. On another note, I'm not sure if this is because they are a small, local business, but they seemed to be very understaffed. There were 2 waitresses and from what I noticed, 1 cook. The waitresses were not only serving tables, but they were also cleaning tables when customers left. This definitely caused a delay in seating at times as people were waiting to be seated or attended to. The waitresses definitely did the best they could with what they had, which I give them props for. Great job. As for the food, it was okay. I had the country skillet, which consisted of red potatoes, bell peppers onions, sausage pieces, topped with scrambled eggs and country gravy. I was able to substitute the eggs for egg whites. The food was very good and flavorful. It almost felt like breakfast when I was a kid and mom would cook her famous potatoes with sausage and eggs. My husband had the French toast with eggs and turkey sausage. He said everything tasted pretty good and was quite fulfilling. Keep in mind, my family and I had recently changed our eating habits to a more healthier side. With that said, I was very appreciative that this place offered healthier food options (egg whites, veggie omelettes, etc.). This place offers kid's menus, which is always a plus given we have 3 children. The kiddos ordered the Mickey Mouse pancake with eggs and either sausage or bacon. They all enjoyed every single bite that their plates were empty at the end. They loved their food that much. Overall, it was a great experience. Definitely worth a try!
