The Crowned Egg

My husband and I are visiting from Vegas .So we decided to look for some new breakfast spots to eat at,We came across The Crowned Egg and decided to give it a shot,The service good,Our food came off fast ,I never had chorizo before so I thought hey why not,Let me tell you The Chorizo Burrito was 10/10 hands down.The restaurant overall was pretty good.The noise level was very low to none at all .We will definitely come back to this breakfast spot next time we visit.

The food was good. The prices are spot on. I had the chicken fried steak and it was hot n crispy. The gravy was just the right thickness. My wife had the avocado toast dish. This dish was fine but there was mold on the sour dough bread. We brought it up to the young man who took our order and he did a bit of arguing about how it wasn't. We showed him and he said it was from the grill stain but it's toast I replied. He also pushed back a little when we requested it be redone. We said just the toast not the whole plate. I also let him know we didn't want to argue over it. They redid the plate but he also came out with the loaf of sourdough bread they used and still argued about the bread. The place was clean but not inviting. 3 stars is for the food and the missing 2 stars is for the customer service.

Service has been great each time we have come. Polite, efficient, and prompt as well. Menu options are good and what we've had has tasted good.The restaurant is somewhat small and it looks like it could possibly accommodate a party of ten to twelve without too much effort. Additionally there's a patio on the North side of restaurant that appears to seat almost as many diners as inside.

Corned beef has and birria skillet was so good and flavorful. The staff wa so nice and ran out leftovers we forgot out to our car. We will go back again

I am absolutely shocked that I didn't review this place after our first visit because my husband pretty much dreams about the hatch chile here (not kidding!) We came in for a brunch before our tee time down the street and it was the same awesome service and delicious food for an affordable price. The iced coffee was yummy as well. Hands down one of the best places to grab brunch (even if they don't have mimosas, lol). Consistent, simple and a casual ambiance keeps us coming back. Add it to your list as well!

What a darling little place! My waitress was excellent and the food was really tasty! I ordered the Green Chile Pork Skillet Breakfast and one piece of French toast. The French was wonderful...it had a little crunch to it, but in a good way! It came out piping hot which is a plus in my book! The skillet breakfast was pretty good, but I don't think I would order it again. I think it would have. Even better with shredded potatoes instead of the big chunk of potatoes. Also, a little more chopped cilantro would have put this dish over the top! The meat was really good and the eggs were cooked perfectly! Over all, I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast here! I'll bring my hubby next time!

Had their seasonal special (Birria Skillet) and it was excellent. Quiet place with wonderful service.

Restaurant was pretty full when we arrived but server greeted us at the door and seated us. Our drink order was taken immediately and server came back with them quickly. Food order was taken without wait and arrived within 10 minutes. Good food and everything looked clean in dining area and kitchen. Server was extremely friendly and professional. I like eggs over medium and most places just can't do an over medium egg. Same thing here but that is really my only criticism.

Still good after 4 years of business, food comes out fast and service is excellent. Run as a family owned business and it shows.
