The Cracked Egg

It was my first time in this area, and I was looking for a good breakfast spot while waiting for a friend. After several suggestions, I settled on Cracked Egg and was pleasantly surprised. The outside is pretty standard, but the interior is lovely and lively. My wait staff was friendly and attentive. I would say the menu was a bit overwhelming, mainly because there were so many items I wanted to try. I settled with the French toast lychee, which is two pieces of French toast with fruit, nuts, strawberries, and a milky cream, which was very delicious. I also got a side of eggs and turkey bacon with potatoes, which were also very good overall. I had a great experience with the cracked egg. If it wasn't so far, I can see myself going there almost every weekend. There were so many more items that I wanted to try. I will give them another go if I'm ever back in that area.For my first experience, I would have to give cracked eggs a 4 1/2 out of 5.

This place is great, breakfast was never better. I had their omelette and it was fantastic; the coffee was great! Always parking since they have their own. Clean and professional servers. So polite. I highly recommend this restaurant

Service is a little bit slow in this place , otherwise food was delicious Very expensive for breakfast

I use to come to this place when the past owner owned it. I love what they the new owners did to the place, the ambiance is very relaxing and comfortable. The food is great and there is a fresh squeezed juice bar which is a plus plus plus for me! The waiters and bus boys are excellent and super attentive, hopefully nothing changes because they are doing everything right! I live in the neighborhood so I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place as your brunch choice!

This new breakfast spot in the Clearing neighborhood offers a lot of tasty breakfast and brunch options (see menu). We tried both the red and green chilaquiles, both spicy (green was better), two skillets (veggies skillet: yum; chorizo skillet:spicy) and pumpkin pancakes (okay). Staff was friendly. The space is roomy with cool design elements. We'll be going back.

Chiliquiles is awesome. I get the Christmas sauce. Very nice waitresses very attentive

It was my first time at this place and the customer service was great along with the food . Everything was nice and hot . The waitress was attentive with water refill's . Never once did I feel rushed or bombarded with slow service. I also saw them sing happy birthday to someone which was really nice .

Food is really good- we had the green chilaquiles and French toast. Both were great. The mild chilaquiles were spicier than I expected but great flavor.The ambiance is great! Trendy vibes and modern looking. Love the small details they put into selection furniture and decor. Now the bad..The service was okay- our waitress forgot about us a few different times. It was fairly busy though so I am not sure if that's the norm. I had to ask the hostess for our waitress after waiting for almost 10 minutes without any acknowledgement. I ended up having to pay in front because she never came back to take my payment. She was nice but service was underwhelming.Cost- this place is pretty expensive. A basic cup of coffee is $4 which is crazy to me. I think any juice is around $5. Maybe I'm just poor but for what you are getting it feels slightly overpriced. Maybe you are paying for the ambiance but I feel even though this place is local to me I won't be a regular here due to the cost.

We had Father's Day breakfast at the Cracked Egg and even though they were so busy the service was excellent. Food was very flavorful as well.

I and family had breakfast 2 months ago food was ok but small portions and cold food had to returnservice is average. Will not return Too pricey too $65 for 3 people I rather go to 3 sons on archer !
