The Cove

Very solid breakfast option. The food is filling and always tasty. I've tried a few things there and their shrimp and coleslaw sandwich is a satisfying, salty, and solid sandwich. The "Dans Platter" is an old fashioned, diner meal with good flexibility of sides and a good balance of savory but also light. The barista was very kind and conversational, and the coffee was FANTASTIC! It is on wharf so the vibe is very sea-forward with lots of wooden planks and cool old pictures.If you are looking for a solid, light but savory breakfast/brunch, this is the place.

Just tried The Cove for the first time and we loved it! We had biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwich with English muffin/scrambled eggs/bacon/cheese, drip coffee, and Samoa Latte. We dined in and enjoyed the great mugs are coffees were served in and the Samoa Latte was well balanced. The breakfast sandwich was cooked perfectly and the English muffin was amazing. The biscuits and gravy were also excellent and some of the best I have had in a while. We chose to dine inside where we could still see the water, but you can take it outside to enjoy the view.

I walked in, and stood there at the counter, the young lady working the counter didn't even bother to lift her head and acknowledge me, let me know it would be a second before she got to me, or anything. Then I watched someone who was already dining walk up and pay for something. She then continued with what she was doing. I ended up leaving. It was 11:30 on a Saturday so I'm not sure if they were at their customer limit. But first impression are everything, and that was a huge let down after waiting a week to come have brunch.

When you order an iced Americano, they charge extra for the ice. They also want to charge you for a cup of tap water (for a dog). The service is solidly bad. It took me five minutes to order two iced coffees. Area is obviously charming, and the coffee was tasty. Maybe if they can figure out hiring someone less incompetent to take orders. And don't charge extra for ice.

Biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwich were great and the coffee was hot. The playlist they had on was phenomenal and all employees were friendly and helpful!

Food prep was not the best. Over salted and for our tastes over cooked.Penn Cove Mussels. Just so so

The restaurant is located right above the water in the downtown, at the end of the boardwalk.There is a patio with some tables in the back facing the water where you can sit and enjoy your food. We shared the three piece fish and chips which we enjoyed. The food came out quickly and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Some of the best breakfast and cold brew I have found on Whidbey. The service is always top notch and I love the vibe. 10/10

Delicious BLT with cheese. Yummy chips too. A bit pricey but what isn't these days? Service was very friendly. Music not too loud. Feels like a nice local joint. I would come back.

Such a lovely coffee shop, great for a break either if the day is too hot or too cold, this a great stop for a refreshment.The decoration goes perfectly with the little town, welcoming and picturesque.They have savory choices, baked goods, hot chocolate, tea. I'd recommend to take a look to their open and close time to be able to place your order on time We were a large Party (12) and yet they were friendly and got our order right.
