I have been enjoying Chicken and Rice guys since it was a line of food trucks!Whether you order from the kiosk or the counter the food comes out immediately - they know how to move the lunch crowd along. I always get the chicken on rice. And I usually get the garlic sauce, the barbeque sauce or some mix of the two. It's consistently good, but your other options are tofu or gyro - but I've never had either. They have cans of soda (coke company!) and some house made beverages. Always a delicious meal. This is the only brick and mortar location I've ever been to - and though I liked the Cheeseboy that was here years before, Chicken and Rice guys is a step up. (The cheeseboy lives on in a rectangular garbage slot in the center trashcan console that is the exact shape of the cheeseboy sandwich boxes)My less favorite things. The Kiosk is right in front of the door, so if a customer is slow at the kiosk, folks queue up and block the door. I'm also not a fan of the hard plastic to go containers.

I'm so glad that they're here every Friday at Tufts Medical Center! When I first heard about it, I was like no way. Usually it's a different food truck. They have been here for about 2-3 weeks now. Makes lunch much more enjoyable now! Switch it up a little. I love their creamy garlic sauce. Their hot sauce is much spicier than Halal guys which is better. $11 for a combo (chicken and lamb) is pretty decent. Reason why I choose CNRG over Halal Guys is because... the unlimited sauce LOL Halal Guys charge you so much for extra sauce. CNRG you get to put your own sauce and as much as you want too!

Crave this place constantly after trying it at Boston Calling, I live an hour from boston and have made a trip on the train multiple times for this place specifically lol service is always speedy and it's never overly crowded in the Downtown Boston location the chicken is flavorful the rice is perfect and the sauces and pita are the icing on the cake all the flavors just work so well together

This CnR Guys location is great! Staff is very nice, and the food comes out basically instantly. Really great for people who want quick food before they return to work. It's not a comfy or cozy place to eat, but it does the job for office workers, and the food is delicious. Food quality is very consistent if you're used to other CnR Guys locations, and although price has gone up over the years, it's still reasonable for a quick lunch or dinner.

Convenient, quick, and pretty tasty. Rice has a nice flavor. Tofu protein choice is firm and well crisped. Chicken is flavorful. You won't go wrong ordering here.

I love Chicken and Rice Guys so, so much. Their food is always flavorful, delicious, and nicely portioned-- even their mini size is pretty filling! My order usually consists of their rice plate (which comes with lettuce and toasted pita) and baked tofu. Their halal chicken is quite good as well, but the tofu option really takes the cake. I love pairing my meal with their creamy garlic + mint & cilantro sauces (I use their hot sauce sparingly when I'm feeling edgy, though). Their toasted pita slices are well-seasoned and go nicely with the sauces. :- ) I'd highly recommend coming here for a satisfying and filling meal.

Overpriced knock off of halal guys. Save your money. Also, halal guys in Boston is an overpriced knockoff of halal guys in NYC but it's better than this place. Basically chicken/lamb over rice in general in Boston is bad. If you're a new yorker and expecting something like halal cart/halal guys food from this place, prepared to be disappointed. I've lived in Boston for 3 years, and I have yet to find a suitable replacement. Also they charged me $2 for onions. What

A very straight-forward and simple menu to choose from. Perfect for people who can never decide what they want to eat. For this place, I ordered the combo mix rice plate (chicken & gyro). The chicken was a little dry and the gyro tasted fine. There was a large portion of rice under the meat. I did feel the rice to meat ration was a bit uneven (too much rice). Next time, I would opt to try their salad plate. I appreciate that all the sauce options were on the side. The sauce did help with the dry chicken. In particular, the mint sauce tasted the best. It felt refreshing for a hot Boston day. Only complaint for this place was the bathroom. I was told that the bathroom was broken that day. So I guess staff and guests didn't get to use the bathroom that day.

Simply and to the point like a chipotle style kind of quick service and can get crowded during lunch time on a weekday. Base with choice of various types of chicken which they seasoned and cooked very well for the portion and price balance out one another. For the most part fast service and pleasant.

I don't get the hype - I really don't. Having given them more than a handful of chances through offerings at work, I cannot say I will ever be back/patronize their business (even though they are super close to our residence). The chicken does not necessarily seam like it is good (quality declined with each visit) and for what you pay, I would expect slightly better quality given the smaller quantity. Maybe portion sizes are just inconsistent, but it seems like there is little chicken, a lot of rice. The pita often seems stale too. I get it, Boston rents are high, but at the same time, I think it is overpriced for what you get. With plenty of options around, I will not be patronizing this place!
