Strange location inside an office park, bar on the second floor above the wine store, friendly staff, decent wine selection, will probably only go back if I'm in the area

I'd say 4.5 stars. Came here on a Friday night with a friend. They have a buy one get one half off martini special, but since I'm not a big drinker, I ended up getting the Moscow Mule while my friend got the pear martini. My friend wasn't able to take advantage of the deal either because he said they definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol. We got a few appetizers, which are $2 off the regular price. The bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese were drizzled with a sweet balsamic and were really good. We also got the sliders which were tasty but a bit greasy.My drink was good and was made on the sweeter side per my request. My friend enjoyed his drink as well. This is a cute place that could be a nice first date spot. The food is good and the drinks are strong. There is a lot of parking too, which is always something I appreciate. Looking forward to coming back!

We are always on the search for a great Happy Hour, and we found one at Casual Side this past Thursday. Let me start with the cocktails we ordered (BYOG 1/2 price on Thursdays). Joseph's Perfect Manhattan was Perfect - served up - and the Negroni was excellent - just like in Italy. For food, we had:* House Made Gnocchi - The sauce was great, gnocci themselves were heavy. It was a good Happy Hour value, and we would order again. One suggestion is that it should be served with bread rather than charging a $3 uplift for bread.* Short Rib Sliders - There were three sliders, very tender meat and tasty.* Traditional Burgundy Escargot - Six escargot were served in a garlic and parsley butter sauce with toasted brioche. The flavors were excellent, but a little too much sauce.* Charred Broccolini - All I can say is "excellent".Service was exceptional. The outdoor area for Happy Hour was not available because of a private event, but a table and chairs were brought out from the bar area for us to enjoy Happy Hour outdoors. Water is self-service in the bar.We'll be back for Happy Hours ... and for dinner.

Amazing hidden gem! Massive wine list, delicious food, great happy hour, and not to mention the exceptional service! Do yourself a favor and try it out!

Wow! The food here is absolutely DELICIOUS. We ordered 1 of each of the appetizers and each one better than the last! Couldn't get enough. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend. The staff was wonderful too!

Excellent Spanish owned wine bar tasting and affordable gourmet delicacies including fresh escargot. But the wine is the prize and if you can get here before 7, an intense quality range at reasonable prices at Happy Hour. The only weird thing is that its located in an industrial parking lotThis setting evaporated at the first sip of Carol Shelton's Coquille Blanc, from Paso Robles an unfairly under appreciated center of California quality wine production.The clincher for me was the knowledge of the serving staff, both honest and discerning.I'm coming back for dinner! True European style wine tasting in a San Diego industrial parking lot.Oh, the irony is delicious!

Best bar in San Diego - Fidal and Sarah really make this place come alive. I feel like I'm in the movie "Big Night" with Stanley Tucci when I come in. David is always great to run into at the Wine Sellar, too. I only come here to drink anymore. It's the perfect amount of quiet and good conversation.

This neighborhood bar is located in a wine shop below a fine dining restaurant. It is a wine bar but they have six beers on tap including bottles and can beers as well plus a full bar and they do promotions every day of the week. Taco Tuesday plus BUY 1 get the 2nd one half off margaritas, always a wine tasting on Wednesday, Thursday throwback cocktails BOGO 1/2 off and Fridays is BOGO 1/2 off Martini night.The service here is exceptional and the menu options, which are mostly small/share plates are deliscious!

I have been here a couple of times and each time is consistently AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!!!!! The food is superb. Mushroom toast, burgers, sliders, charcuterie, gnocchi, soups, and salad have been tried and are all so mouthwatering good! They do have happy hours and specials like martini Friday ( people take advantage of the buy one martini and get the other half off, especially with the Cosmos). All their drinks are very very strong. You only need one drink. They have an amazing selections of wine of well. The service is so kind and generous that you feel cozy if that makes any sense.
