5 stars for customer service. We had a date night planned but the baby sitter arrived late and we missed our reservation. So we called Capital Grill. They had open table for us before they closed. They seated us promptly and served us like we were the first table of the night despite being the last table. I appreciate that. There are better steaks in the area but my cocktail was delish, the appetizers hit the spot with the melted butter! Great place to dine if you want to feel special.

Had a really fantastic experience here for lunch today! There were only a few other groups dining as it was a Friday on a holiday weekend. Service was fast and the staff were so attentive and friendly.I had the Capital Grille Cobb w/ Steak Tenderloin cooked medium rare (leaning towards the rare side which was exactly what I wanted). I think this was one of the best salads I've ever had because it was fresh, light but savory with the steak, and also thoroughly chopped and mixed (toppings + dressing) BEFORE being plated so I didn't have to make a mess mixing them in myself. This seems like such a small detail but you can tell they've really thought through these things. Would 100% recommend this dish for lunch!My partner had the Steak Frites lunch plate which also came with French Onion Soup as a starter (swapped for Clam Chowder). It came with some rosemary fries and a tangy/creamy dipping sauce, which were delicious. He mentioned during the meal that this reminded him what good steak tastes like, and it's not even their best cut! I also had the mint lemonade - non alcoholic drinks like this are always pricey at restaurants, but it was so worth it and very refreshing on a 90+ degree day.We will definitely return - 10/10!

My family have been patrons of the Capital Grille locations for 10 years now and without exception they always deliver the standard of service and quality. This was no exception in Atlanta. The food was on standard, staff was professional, and welcoming, and they served me a Birthday dessert. Ambiance and decor standard of their signature steakhouse aestheric. Per usual we had the onion soup, and bone in ribeye with sides. Great!

Celebrated a birthday dinner here at Capital Grille on a Saturday night. We were a few minutes late for our reservations but they still seated us promptly in a private room with a pretty nice view. I really appreciated our party being sat separately because it made it more intimate and also allowed our service to be more tailored. I genuinely wish I could have remembered the man's name who serviced us that night because he was very personable and kind. I am not a steak fan, at all, so I opted to get the crab cake with a personal size of the Brussel sprouts. The crab cake is small but mighty, rich in crab meat. The Brussel sprouts could have been a little bit more crispy for my liking but they were also pretty good. My 'wow' of the night was them bringing us complimentary champagne for a champagne toast at the end of the night. Great experience!

What an amazing experience. Came here on date night with the wife after having this place on our list for over a year. FYI, dress code is strictly enforced, it was a blazer night for me, and a sexy, elegant outfit from the wife. Our reservation was for 8:30 p.m. and that was a great time to get there. Valet parking is $10 and the restaurant is on the eighth floor with a nice view of the city as you're elevated to the restaurant.I checked in at the counter, and we were seated within 2 to 3 minutes. Our waiter. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and very attentive. Based on our experience with Michael alone we will definitely be back.My wife started with an espresso martini and I had the sweet water IPA beer as we browse the menu to indulge our pallets and some epicurean delights. Appetizer: Lobster and crab cake.Entrée : South African lobster fried. FYI, this lobster can be prepared fried, grilled or butter braised.I had the Double Cut Lamb Ribs (4). OH MY GOD, these are definitely by far the best lamb I have ever eaten. I had mine prepared, medium well light pink in the middle, completely tender, completely juicy and if I was not in a restaurant setting I'll probably suck the bones dry.Shareable: these food options come à la cart, so we decided to share some lobster mac & cheese and the soy glazed brussels sprouts minus the bacon (we don't eat bacon). Listen here, you cannot go wrong with an elegant date night option where the food is also a generous amount and taste absolutely delicious. When you take a bite and you immediately look at your spouse across the table and y'all give each other that iContact and your facial expression changes because you're endorphins have just kicked in because the food in your mouth is sending signals all over your body , you know y'all made the right choice for date night. Visited on a Saturday evening, primarily for the Generous Pours. Our server was Charisse (spellcheck). She was really nice and provided a lot of history and information regarding each of the wines we tried. There was one wine that she couldn't find but after searching for some time she was able to find one last bottle. She made good recommendations for wine and food pairings which I appreciated.The food was also very good. I ordered the steak with the mushroom crust. I was iffy about the balsamic, but our server highly recommended it and I'm so glad she did. It was a great accompaniment for the flavor of the steak. The sides were good as well and so was the calamari. As this is a steakhouse it is a little pricey, but the food and service is definitely worth it. The ambiance is nice for a date night, girls night out, birthday celebration or even a work event.

Would have gave a 5. Great service, decor and atmosphere. I aske for our remaining items to be bagged to go. Returned home I had a large bowl of mashed potatoes instead of spinach I ordered. I'm saying that to say spinach was great and I was waiting to enjoy it later

To add on to my original review, this location is not selective about your attire. It's come as you are, distressed denim and all. This adds to the appeal for me. When I want to dress up, I'm not out of place and when I want to dress down, I'm not out of place. Win/win. The managers Chris and Michael are Amazing! Servers Kenneth, Josh, and Asia are top tier. Cannot go wrong here!
