Remarkable food and exceptional customer service! When I saw all the five-star reviews I had to go see what the fuss was about. The reviews are well-earned!Let's cut to the chase. You're reading this review because you found The Candied Rib Company. Go try their food! You will not be disappointed. In fact, I think it is safe to say that even with all their fantastic reviews, your expectations will be exceeded. Trust me on this.Note that this is mostly a takeout spot, though they have a couple of tables to sit at while you wait, so... you know... Or you could just eat in your car or take it home. Worth it either way!I live about a half hour away, but finally made the journey this past weekend. I wish I had visited them sooner!This is mostly a BBQ restaurant, I would say, but their menu is a little varied so it is sort of hard to categorize them. But they are so good at what they do!I had the Baby Back Ribs, sloppy style (though you can also get them dry rubbed without sauce). They were cooked to absolute perfection, moist and tender and delicious. I had their potato salad, even though I knew it wasn't the style I normally prefer, and I was very impressed.My wife got the Burnt Ends, which were also cooked to perfection and smokey and flavorful. Yes, of course I her for sharing with me! She also got the Honey-Glazed Broccoli, which was phenomenal. And that's coming from a guy who normally skips the vegetables and goes right for the meat. This side dish is simple, and yet executed with perfection. Charred and a little sweet with the light glaze, and cooked perfectly.The owners are a great team, running a great business and clearly having fun at it. And they make the experience of being a customer fun too.I can't say enough about what a great experience we had at The Candied Rib Company. Give them a try and you will definitely become a repeat customer.

Wow! As a fan of BBQ who sampled a lot of what this country has to offer, this place tops just about anything else I've tried. The pulled pork sandwich was otherworldly and stood on its own without any sauce needed (though the dark/sweet sauce is quite tasty and certainly doesn't take away). The burger was also top notch and perhaps the best I've had so far as well. I was staying in the Mt. Zion area while visiting Nashville for the weekend. After a long day trekking through the the city, we wanted to retreat to our Air BNB and avoid the crowds for the evening. Thank you to Yelp for pointing us to this place. I honestly think it is better than anything we could have found in the city. My wife and I ordered the 'gotta have it' burger and the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potatoes as a side and banana pudding for dessert. The food exceeded my already high expectations for this category in the south. I will now recommend this place to any friends or family who travel to Nashville, even if they are not staying nearby. The inside is very small with only a few small tables. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely a take out place, so keep that in mind.

Food was outstanding! We tried the pulled pork and macaroni and cheese; the hamburger and potatoes. We took our food to the nearby Charlie Daniels Park to eat our lunch. It was so good we went back and ordered another burger and potatoes and the special of the day with Mac and cheese and praline white chocolate banana pudding for supper and probably lunch tomorrow! The servings are ample! Service was outstanding! Restaurant so clean and inviting! Owners were super friendly and helpful with all their options! There is a wide selection to choose from! Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning! So glad we ran across this gem!

Me and my wife have been wanting to try this place for a while and we finally made it there today. It did not disappoint. The food was very tasty. Service is great. There are 2 tables in the lobby, which makes it carry out. Its worth getting and taking back to your place and grubbing. Ambiiance is good. Nice and clean. We are definitely going back.

Wow! Fantastic fresh food, friendly owners, large portions. The brisket sandwich and the potatoes were both amazing. Highly recommend you check this place out. Can't wait to go back and try the ribs and burgers.

After the hype, I was heart broken. My ribs were over cooked and dry. Most of the meat was cooked well too far leaving only a small portion of the meat edible. I did get the ribs near the end of the day so they were probably on heat for a while. I'd go back again at opening, but considering it's a 3 hour window I was hoping for more. Service was awesome, friendly, fast, easy.

Hands down the best little BBQ joint in town. Owners are one of the best things about this place! Great energy and very helpful and kind. Willing to help figure out something you would like. If you had to say something bad about this place it would be it needs more table and chairs so the whole family can eat and talk to these great owners and hear their story! Very thankful I stopped by. You won't be disappointed let me know what you get and how you like it!
