If I ever return to Nashville, this would be the first restaurant on my list. The only downside is that it gets quite busy, so you might have to wait for a table--but trust me, it's absolutely worth it. One of the best things I've ever eaten in my life is their Brown Butter Beignets. These little delights are served warm, nestled on a bed of lemon curd, and dusted with powdered sugar. I honestly regret sharing them with my husband because they were unbelievably delicious. For my main dish, I had the Buttermilk Road Breakfast, which came with two eggs (cooked to your preference), potatoes, bacon, and two biscuits. The portion was huge, and I couldn't finish it all, but I savored every bite. Unfortunately, I was too full to sample any of their baked goods, like the tiramisu cube croissant or the chocolate babka croissant, which looked amazing. We sat at the bar, made friends with the woman next to us, and even struck up a conversation with the bartender. While it was a bit early for me to indulge, I watched her craft some beautiful and tempting cocktails. After our meal, we strolled along 12th Ave, a great street lined with shops and fun spots to explore.

100% would recommend!!! I HIGHLY suggest you make a reservation (join the waitlist via google maps) otherwise your wait time can be up to 3 hours on a Saturday or Sunday. My partner and I loooovved this place we actually had it twice in a row (Saturday & Sunday). I knew nothing of this place, just happened to google breakfast and this place was #1. Read the reviews, looked over menu & immediately joined the waitlist for Saturday (around 10AM) I joined. They send you a text and in the google app it actually will tell you your place in line. Depending on business you could be waiting an additional time. Just make sure to check in with the hostess. And stay close! Ambiance: Keep in mind it is busy but I absolutely loved the open kitchen plan you had. Something about seeing the kitchen and how it operated. Bathrooms are first come first serve in the back of the restaurant (this is important because there are 2 and are not gender specific) Food: hands down some of theeee BEST breakfast food I've had. Pancakes were not my favorite (a little too fluffy) but the beignets!!! I actually came back the next day for breakfast and ordered these in place of the pancakes. (They are competing with New Orleans)!!! I could have done without the French press coffee; wasn't as strong as I would have preferred. The loaded potatoes. They are breakfast potato's with bacon queso and scallions and oh my goodness!!! Perfection! The breakfast sausage is cured and made in house and has a little spice on the back end of the bite. Overall: I would go to this place time & time again anytime I'm in Nashville.

Massively offensive and disgusting stickers on an employees water bottle that were prominently displayed for maximum attention at the checkout counter. Keep this crap to yourself! This must be corrected and addressed by management. Besides that, my server Mitch was Outstanding! Our food was delicious. It came out quickly even though they were slammed. This place doesn't solely employ high school or college kids-- these servers and management were professionals. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience minus the flagrant display of "I suck d*ck for..." and Satan reference.

Loved the vibe of this place. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with tropical plants and the fresh smell of bakery items. I didn't actually take photos of our food because I was so impressed with their plant collection.

I always recommend this place for breakfast! It is so cute inside and guaranteed everything you get will be so fresh. The servers all seemed so knowledgeable and attentive. The cube Benny was amazing and I was obsessed with all the layers. I'd love to come back and try more of their fresh pastries! You definitely need to get there early if you don't want to be waiting a while.

Happy to report - this place is absolutely worth the hype.Service: soooo wonderful - our server was attentive, friendly, and super knowledgable about gluten free options - I felt so safe!Food and drink: freaking. delicious. All of it!!! Check out the photos!Ambiance: very cute, fun, stylish, and clean. I will say that they needed to turn up the AC a bit (which I understand is probably very expensive during the summer heat). However, the heat actually wasn't enough for me to bump this down to a 4 stars due to the amazingness of all the other factors. If you go in the summer, just prepare for the potential for heat and maybe bring a mini fan, lol. You'll love it!!!

Wow. This place. The building itself was so cool on the outside we knew we were going to have an amazing breakfast. They had an amazing breakfast cocktail menu so I had to try the blueberry gimlet. Absolutely divine flavor!I ordered the jalapeño breakfast cakes and man oh man was the flavor amazing. We all ordered something different so we got to try all the delicious flavors. Food was amazing, service was great and the overall vibe of this place was amazing. I'm not sure if they take reservations, but I would recommend getting there early if you don't. We got there right when they opened and it filled up pretty quick with people waiting outside for a table. The food is well worth the wait for sure!

Stopped by on a college visit trip to Vandy with the youngest and the wifey. It was the "number one" Yelp suggested restaurant in Nashville, so I had to see what was up with that. Cool ass place! I see what it's ranked so high, it's very " New Nashville" if you will.... Lot's of "New Nashville" stereotypes and stereotypical places around. Arrived to find a small wait around 11:00 or so. Posted up on the wait list and we were accurately quoted 30 mins. Inside was pretty warm but they warned us at the door. It was misleading up front as it seemed cool, it got way worse as you got further in, but they did warn of the heat so I can't blame them. Open kitchen is cool, till it ain't, LOL. Kid had pancakes and bacon. Asked for extra syrup, got maybe one ounce extra for a dollar, WTF, that's strange. Bad thing, it still wasn't enough. Better bring one of those little bottles Cracker Barrel gives you here, yo. They were just ok pancakes. Wifey had the square bene. Cute presentation, looked really tasty . I didn't try it though. Well executed sight wise. She also ordered Tomato Gravy and two biscuits. She hated it and only ate one bite. It is unlike any tomato gravy I have ever had myself either. Biscuits were tiny, more like "bisc".... You know, abbreviated versions of biscuits. Come to Memphis, go to Sunrise or Kinfolk for a whole ass biscuit. I had the cold brew and corned beef hash skillet. Cold brew was standard, did its job though. CBH skillet was meh. Kinda dry all around. The beef was cut way too big for as tough as it was. Hash itself was pretty tasty though. Egg was cooked sunny too done, then sat under the lamp and got fully cooked so no relief there. Great idea for a dish though. Kinda sad I landed on my choice actually. I saw some other really other cool looking foods landing around us. Not all that impressed with my visit really. Would not wait again. '24 - 58/100
