The Butcher N Cheese

Easily became my favorite burger spot in SD. Got the Garlic fries with the Bacon Onion Jam with the Pineapple Cider. The flavors were great. The patty was cooked right- juicy and flavorful. The bacon, onion, cheese and brioche bun complement perfectly. The wasabi mayo served with the garlic fries is delicious (but not spicy). The owner has been there every time I've been and he shows his customers a gentle hospitality that's refreshing. You can tell he enjoys giving people good food.It's a place I like to go on my own to enjoy a tasty burger in a quietish setting.

Surprisingly good Mac n' cheese! They actually make a bechamel which is impressive. If they just cooked the noodles a little less, it would probably be the best Mac n' cheese I've had from a restaurant! We also had wings and chili cheese fries. No burger this time around as we had burgers at home recently. The chili could use more seasoning but they definitely load up the fries. We got the sour cream on the side. I appreciated the pickled jalapeños a lot. Buffalo wings were pretty standard but they did give a decent amount of carrots and celery sticks!

This place is delicious!! My fiancé and I randomly found this spot a few months ago and stopped in to try it out. We got the bourbon burger and the great patty melt. They were great and actually left us thinking about it again. We've also had the same order plus Texas cheese fries to go and they were still good! I would highly recommend giving this spot a shot if you enjoy burgers and fries.

Hidden gym for sure. Prob the best Mac and cheese I have had from a restaurant like this. Friendly staff, food came out hot and fast. Burgers were cooked to perfection, not dry or over cooked. We went on a Friday night and there was a live band playing outside, super fun. Coconut shrimp , bourbon burger , New Orleans burger were all great! I will for sure come here again

Plenty of parking variety of different foods and drinks available specialty in grass feed burgers and kid friendly menu drinks and great menu order in or order out either way fast and friendly servers and service thanks to the cook for the great food

Went to a movie at the local theater over the weekend and wanted to stop by a grab a burger before the afternoon movie. I have heard about the burgers here online and wanted to try how good they were. I had the Baja California Burger and some fries. The Baja Burger looks so spicy but it wasn't really too spicy at all. The burgers here are so messy but that makes them even better. Fries are so perfectly crispy when they came out! I will definitely be going back here again when I'm feeling a good burger night. The service was great and very helpful if we needed anything else. Ambiance here was chill as it was pretty hot over the weekend.

Great service, super good food, reasonable price point. We got the Hawaiian burger with tater tots and steak dinner and both were a hit! We will be back.

I was looking for a burger joint for my son and I to have dinner. I didn't want to spend a fortune. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but a 1/3 pound burger can now be in the range of $20 and your lucky if it comes with fries. Well, that is not the case here. For around $12-$14 you can get a 1/3 pound burger and fries. I'm appreciate that it's Butcher N Cheese is still making a week-day night out dinner still affordable.When we arrived we were greeted within a few seconds and asked if we were dining in or take out, we said dining in and we were given a table. My son ordered the Good Ol' Burger, with just meat and cheese. I ordered the the Roadhouse. Both burgers came out within about 10 minutes. The patty itself was a good size, flavorful and juicy. My son ate almost all of his meal. The egg on my burger was a little under cooked, but honestly, I prefer that than a over easy that is over cooked where the whites are crunchy. It was a good messy burger. I'm a big eater and I could not finish my fries and had a few bites of burger left. Overall it was a good burger and I'd definitely eat here again. The service was great. No complaints here.

Dang! That was an awesome burger. Going by the location I would not have thought this would be one of my new favorite spots! The drink menu had some great choices, I did a 2 Towns hard cider. The burgers were fantastic! The bourbon burger was cooked perfectly and the topping were an awesome flavor balance! So good, I will definitely be back!Great service, great food!

The Hombre was phenomenal.Kids liked their fries, Cheeseburger, and Chicken Tenders.Good tap beer choices.
