The Bunganut Pig Bar & Restaurant

I've always loved this place for the genuine casual and friendly staff. I'd rather be served by a person who can be themselves and not just robotically read a script. The food is amazing. Try the new Chimichanga. It's filling and hard to find on other menus. Bartender Will is always attentive and on point. The servers are always fun. The patio is unlike any others with live music and tons of seating. You can sometimes catch a live band on the weekends in the downstairs which is the original pub from 1986. One of Franklin's hidden treasures.

We went here based on a recommendation from another business in the area. It's pretty laid back. Very friendly staff. The food was good and included selections not available in most places. When in the Franklin, Tennessee area, check this place out.

Went last Sunday and closed at 3:00. What's up with that. Went 3 weeks earlier for a beer. Local dog laying on floor. Nice I guess....... Beer average and service spots. What up with this place? Seemed like all of the help had just got done with a burning man concert and were wiped out. Too many other places in Franklin. Did not eat there, but the place was dirty and dirty tables all around so I guess I would not want to eat there. Gave 2 stars only because the dog did not bother us.

Came in again, UGH...Just horrible! The food, Filthy establishment, poor service, this place was just bad. Ordered 2 Burgers & Fries, the Burgers tasted like a cheap, frozen patty that had sat out all day, then the fries tasted like they had sat under a heat lamp for 3 weeks, then warmed up in a Microwave, the bottom of the basket was soaked in grease, the fries were mush! Horrible! Not to mention the waitress 'forgot' our order, took FOREVER just to get a Burger. Ordered a drink, got it in a cheap, plastic Glass, I guess they don't have Bar Glasses any more? The place is filthy! Tables sat un-cleaned/bussed which the waitresses BS at the Bar. It hasn't been updated in YEARS, the tacky cheap, Broken Christmas Lights add to the overall decline of The Pig. I can't see how this dump stays in business as the owner walks around uninvolved with his business, staff or customers. They need to shut this place down and at the very least to a good, general deep cleaning, take the Christmas lights down, clean the tables as everything is sticky & greasy! YUCK!!! The outdoor Patio wasn't any better, it looked like it hadn't been power washed in years. Then, they stairs leading down to lower Bar are disgusting, the hand Rails haven't been cleaned either. Don't waste you time or money. it's that bad!

I have been coming to Bunganut for several years now...they have a great outdoor patio that is the only place I sit when I come. There's a gazebo for live music to play and a park setting for kids to play, while here. Pets are welcome outside, too. I always have to get the ribeye toast points as an app and it's so delicious. The burgers are really good, but the shepherds pie is for real.If it wasn't for the bathrooms, I'd give them a 5...just because the food and the divey atmosphere are that good.

1/2 the food, and twice the price as it used to be. Not to mention the worst service in Franklin. I would have given 0 stars if I could.

My family tried this place just once and the service was ok, but the food was absolutely awful. Everything was either dripping with grease or inedible salty. The outside patio area is very cute, but that's the best thing I say for it. Would not recommend.

I wrote a review 11 months ago. Still ticked and by the looks of the latest reviews, I can see it hasn't been cleaned yet and now the food has gotten terrible as well. good job management. You really did a number on this place.

We had a dog so we sat.outside and the ambiance was amazing. The fried bologna appetizer was very good. Everything went down hill from there. My son ordered Salman and it.was over 10 minutes before he was told there was no salmon. My bloody Mary was watered down and had no garnishes. Nit even a measly olive.My husband's meal came out first, my meal and my sons meal came put a full 10 or.more minutes later and my daughters meal took another 20 minutes.Me.and my husband had the ribeye sandwich. The bread was NOT what was described, and it was soggy, and it was a sirloin not a ribeye. It had no flavor and was so full of gristle I could only eat a few bites. My son didn't touch half of his food and my daughter took only one bite of her bacon burger. I said...it couldn't be that bad and took a bite. It WAS indeed awful. The meat tasted funny, and the bacon was worse than what they served at our free hotel breakfast that morning. She ordered onion rings. They didn't have any and substituted tater tots without even asking her. The bathrooms were so bad that the kids said they would wait until we got back to the hotel. No water or treat was offered to the dog as advertised.But probably the worst offense was the poor waitress was obviously ALL ALONE servine the whole patio while the bus man sat with his bucket staring at the tables waiting for them to empty and never offered to ask her if he could help. Where was the rest of the wait staff? Where were the managers?
