The Bull Pen Sports Bar and Grill

This is my first time here, since I am new to the community. It was a great place to go, they have 12 televisions, for all your sports needs, and at least on the weekends, they serve a nice breakfast menu until noon, and then lunch starts. The menu is not large, however, I think they have something for everyone. The staff is very friendly, and they have a full bar with drink and food specials. They are doing social distancing, and sanitizing. The prices are very reasonable, and the place is very clean. I cannot wait for the summer, when they can open the 3 garage doors to let the fresh air in. They have a pool table, for your gaming needs. I strongly suggest to visit this quiet town for some grub, with an extensive beer selection...

Great place to come and watch sports. Plenty of t.v's to see no matter where you sit. They have 2 pool tables. You can bring kids because the bar area is separate. They have trivia night and a karaoke night. Food is decent and drinks are made well. The downside is the service. Not many staff. I usually have to go up to bar to get a refill on a drink.

If Cheers were a sports bar, this is it. This place is loaded with locals and the staff acted like it was a family reunion when they came and went - a genuinely cool vibe. The food was okay and the service was great. A nice lunch spot as long as you're okay being an outsider.

The food has really improved over the yearrs but the service is still awful. And they don't care! I even heard one bartender telling another bartender that it doesn't matter if someone is mad or if they give bad service cause the owner doesn't care. I mean at this point that would have to be true over the years of reviews of bad service. Anyways food is good. Lots of TVs and drinks are good. You know what you are getting when you come in.

First, I've been in the industry for nearly 25 years, and in that time I've never written a bad review. It pains me do write this, but I feel the level of mediocrity sinks to a level worth noting. I entered the establishment with a slight concern for time, but estimated I could at least finish most of what I'd be ordering and that would be sufficient. I was set to order a beer and a 1/2 order of nachos. I had 50 mins. It took 8 mins to order sitting at the bar while watching 4 people served before me that came in after me. It took 30 mins for the nachos. I was brought a FULL order of nachos that was cold, the cheese on the top of the nachos wasn't even melted.I'm acutely aware of the goings on in establishment that's serving drinks and food, I never saw anything come out of that kitchen in the time I was there. I paid $30 for a beer and tortilla chips with cold cheese & meat and the service was deplorable. Never again.

I'm impressed! My breakfast was legit! Two good red beers and breakfast later. We had a really good person who took our order she was gorgeous too! She said she was new I couldn't tell. I will be back though. Then a guy showed up driving a cow. The food was amazing my family loved it. I've been in for lunch and the food is good love the prawns but the breakfast wow! Amazing!! The hollandaise sauce was on point. The gravy for the chicken fried steak and the chicken was very good. The potatoes O'Brien was cooked perfectly. The ham steak was gigantic! The eggs Benny was wicked! Great breakfast spot in the Woolley!

Food here is always great, service can be slow as they get packed pretty often (Sedro's go to bar for a lot of people) but bartenders are always friendly. The vibe in here ranges from family friendly playing country music during the week/during the day to everyone having fun playing pool and playing their own music on the jukebox at night. Karaoke night is Tuesdays and there's regulars that make it a really good time

Ok, I must say the food sucks here! My appetizer came out 3 minutes before my meal. The mushroom breading was still doughy. All of our fries were soggy, limp, they have a funny taste and not very appealing. The roast beef on my French dip was dryer than a cotton ball and the chicken strips were dry and could stand up on thier own! I can honestly say that I would pass on this food even if I was starving!

I am not one to leave reviews However, I have never been treated so awfully by a restaurant/bar in my life. I attempted to go have one drink at this location. I entered the building with my service dog and was given a cider. I sat down awaiting my guest and a server aggressively came up to me and let me know dogs are not allowed. I let her know that my dog was a service animal and she let me know that she didn't care and that her manager does not allow any dogs in their building even if they are service animals. I attempted to let her know that I believed this was illegal and she said it wasn't. She ripped my drink away and said I can stay if my dog leaves otherwise if we didn't leave she would have to call the cops. I responded if that's what she needed to do she could. The cops arrived and we're very calm and understanding towards but they did ask me to leave. Under the ADA it is illegal to discriminate against disabilities. My service dog was not causing any harm or distraction and was there to do her job. This was extremely humiliating and stressful. I hope no one ever has to feel this way again or be treated so poorly based on their disability.

This place has been strong throughout the Covid phase. Good food- bar type, big portions, good service. lots of tv's, sports!
