First, let's start with the positives. The 2 staff members were great. The bottled lemonade soda tasted good. The pickles were yummy (similar to Vlasic bread & butter chips). And the mac and cheese was some of the best I had.Now, for the worst part....the chicken! Im not sure what was up, but this was some of the worst I have had. I have had Hattie B's in Nashville and Hot Chicken Takeover in Columbus and I was expecting something similar here. Well, let me tell you, it was like dining on a leather boot. I ordered the 1/4 dark meal. The skin was as tough as leather. So tough, that I could barely cut through it. I didnt even eat the 2nd piece. It was too much of a hassle. It just seemed like plain skin, no batter. So I ended up just taking the texas toast and placing the pickles on it and eating a pickle sandwich. Did I just get an off batch? I hope their other locations arent like this.

Really good and spicy hot Nashville chicken. Breast is extra 3 bucks. Service is quick and ambiance is inside urban space hall. Clean and a good food hall to eat

Strange, slightly dead vibe in the food court, with completely disingaged staff making totally delicious food. Not sure I'd come back but Budlong make some tasty chicken!

I got their chicken sandwich and it was great. The price is a steal esp if comparing to the other vendors in the food hall. Great place for a quick lunch.

Still one of my favorite chicken sandwiches everywhere - the crunch, spice level, pickles and slaw work so well together on that monster of a sandwich. So good. Also the mac and cheese and the biscuit with pepper butter are amazing.

I had a pretty decent experience. I read the reviews and came in with expectations. People noted that orders were not ready: Mine was not. I ordered online and it was not ready. They did attend to me well and addressed it swiftly. I had the chicken sandwich before at another Budlong location- it was meh so I ordered the Chicken Tenders this time. I do think they need to detail the flavors; I couldn't tell them apart and had to ask someone who frequented them. Based on their advice, I ordered the Nashville Hot Tenders with Comeback sauce. The sauces were delicious; temperature of the chicken could be better but it was good. Nashville Hot is hot so don't order this if you do not like spicy food. It's just a tad from really, really hot. The fries desperately need seasoning. I can see the potential. Urban space is perfect for office pick-me-up lunches. I do hope the place improves because it can be great!

Wgen I first tried hot chicken about a decade ago at Prince's in Nashville, I predicted it would be the next foodie trend. It took a few years, but here we are and the Budlong keeps that going.I ordered the classic, which wasn't hot enough for me. Next time I'll go up a level to see if that is more my speed.

They do not have their act together. Complete waste of time. After 30 minutes not getting my order I asked if it was coming up soon and the chef said I should have asked after 5 or 10 minutes if I was waiting. I said I don't understand what that would have done: I don't know how long it's supposed to take, and it's not my fault they lost my order. He was polite but firm, as was I: I told him it wasn't on me.At that point I didn't have time to eat and asked for a refund. Before refunding me though, he took somebody else's order (WTF?!) and the refund didn't include the tip I'd given them on good faith.tl;dr: I hear the chicken is good but they lost my order and gave me attitude.

I used to eat at their Revival Food hall location often. They closed that and opened this one nearby. They destroyed a solid restaurant business. I know it was for sale back in February. When I complained about the size of the biscuit changing they said "new owners, new recipe". $5.99 for a piece of bread that doesn't even taste like a biscuit. Their biscuit used to be phenomenal and come with butter. Chicken sandwich was still ok but seemed like a smaller piece of chicken.
