The Brittle Bush Bar & Grill

The is great bar/restaurant at Kierland. We had the pork green chili grilled cheese and the cheese steak. They were both very good. Especially the the grilled cheese. It had a great few of the golf course and the staff was very friendly. It was a little pricey for the amount of food that we got, but it is a resort so it is also expected. The menu is also pretty limited, but we did enjoy what we ordered.

Jennifer our server was amazing and made everything super special! From food to service to ambiance was amazing for new years Eve! Danielle was a great bartender! We will definitely be back!

I was between three and four stars on this place. I went with four because they went above and beyond with their service. I ate here with a good size group -- about 9 people. We all ordered and then waited for our food. It didn't seem like a horribly long wait -- the conversation was good. But, the staff apparently felt it took too long. At the end of the meal, they brought us a free dessert to apologize for the wait. That was top notch. From a food standpoint, I had the steak tacos. They were sort of your upscale take on street tacos. They were good. Nothing spectacular, but still very tasty. Three come in an order. For dessert, they brought us a muffin that was sort of like bread pudding, covered in Heath bar. It was excellent. I remember thinking, Oh, this looks like a bran muffin. Didn't think it was anything spectacular, then I devoured the entire thing. (It was pretty impressive.)The price was a bit high. But, it's a golf course restaurant on a swanky Scottsdale resort, so that's to be expected. Also, the menu was very small. Like 15 menu items in total. Kudos to the staff for going above and beyond. Much appreciated.

The ambiance and the service here are top notch. We went for a late lunch and sat on the patio. They have both covered and uncovered seating outside. I ordered the crispy mahi mahi tacos and my husband had the tomato soup and grilled cheese. Both meals were very good. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The soup was creamy and served hot. The grilled cheese was made with a few cheeses and was perfect.Prices are a bit high, but this is a resort, so that would be expected.

I've actually been here a few times over the years. I usually sit outside where it's beautiful and peaceful. Today I sat inside and had an excellent food server: Tiffany. She was friendly and on top of things. She suggested their tuna special sharing how she loved it so much that she wouldn't share when she had it. Lol. Sold. I didn't think I'd eat it all when I saw the portion but I did. I ate every delicious bite and had the complimentary bread pudding which was a perfect finish. Update. I am surprised I am the only Yelp review. I told a couple of hotel guests about this place and happened to pass them after they finished. They thanked me for the recommendation and gave four thumbs up. My husband and his golfers ate here yesterday and he came back saying he thought it was one of the best options for lunch in the area. There are lots of choices too...

Lord. Seriously. The wait staff is amazing. The view is beautiful. This is a hidden little gem and everyone should find their way here. The food is delicious. We came for light snacks and they were so good. The sauce they serve with the onion rings is the perfect zing. The onion rings are lovely. We also had the buffalo dip. It came in a cute little skillet and was so good.

Haven't been here in years. We meet friends who were staying at the hotel. The service was 5 stars. There were three persons handling our table . The server was friendly and helpful. The food portions were a little small. Every dish was a la carte. By the time we added salad and fries the meal was 30 dollars for lunch . A little pricey. They did give us a small bread pudding which was good . Food was average 3 stars but 5 star service

Great fish tacos and beer selection. Fish was light with great flavor. Service was prompt and kind.
