I've been coming to the Braeburn for years and they never disappoint. Everything on the menu is delicious from the eggs benedict to the stuffed french toast. You have to order the breakfast potatoes which are my favorite by far. They also have a really good espresso martini. I hadn't been here in a few years since I moved off island and they renovated the inside and it is gorgeous. It's also set up nicely to keep the line moving.

It's remarkable how quickly you can jump in the car, onto a ferry, and find yourself strolling thru galleries and shops in the wonderful little town of Langley. We left early and were in town to get our names down for breakfast at the Braeburn. Wait was a little long but ample street parking, a glass shop next door, and the greatest island store (and cooking store) will fill your time easily. Sit down to a great breakfast, and a Bloody Mary served in glasses hand blown next door! I'm one of those guys that always adds a third egg to my Benedict, and is a Hollandaise snob, and these guys passed with flying colors. Great hosts and waitstaff and the food came out fresh with an eye on quality. Perfectly poached. We both got the same thing, but the Chicken and waffles looked amazing as well! This will be our new 'every time' place when we visit.

Stopped by the Braeburn for Sunday lunch. They had quite the wait but a digital waitlist kept us apprised of our spot while we shopped in the little town of Langley. We were seated at the quoted time and already knew what we wanted off the menu. Although the hostess was super nice, our service for the rest of the meal was a little spotty and food took a long time to come out. Everything was just OK as well - simple versions of what they were with minimal impact. Prices were fine. We were grateful they were open on Sunday when much of the town is closed.

we went on a Saturday and it was quite busy. -- some one came up and said the hostess will be with you in a while --- when the the same person came up minuets later he said you can sit in side if you want ---we repeated and asked if there was a table open on the patio--- the host /server said i dont know let me look-- he came back and said there is a table out there but i have to clean it ----okay thank you------- when we were seated out side there were 3 clean tables to be sat at and we were sat in the only one in full sun----- this is okay as i like sun but not so much the hub=== while we were debating about leaving we saw-- a customer ask again for ice for his drink and someone send their food back at it was prepared wrong-- and a third table ask again if they could please have their bill --we decided to stay since we had driven over 4 hours and needed to eat and the pizza place was on a hour wait-- i asked what ipa they had on tap and again the server -who moments ago was the host said -- let me go look i dont know --- seems to me you should know your menu-- maybe its me??- we decided to stay-- i had a Caesar salad and the hub the Cuban sandwich -- it seemed to me we had top rated ingredients thrown together by the 3rd string team--- my husbands sandwich wasn't event pressed and toasted in the manner of a Cuban -- yes it had been hit with a press for seconds and in fact was soggy-- and poorly made-- it had a scoop of potato salad about a 1/2 of cup maybe and then it had half of it removed == i had the Caesar salad and in it was micro greens and spinach mixed into my salad-- not life or death but certainly cross contamination --- i have to say again the ingredients and the menu were top notch-- the people working were not. Only once and after we had finished eating were we approached to see if everything was okay ----- we had over a $ 76 dollar bill and left $ 80 dollars and i am saying as a server for over 30 years ---YOU EARN YOUR TIPS----

Had a lovely lunch at The Braeburn. We were fortunate enough to sit at the bar with the charming bartender, Zack, also serving as our server. Not only was he very attentive, but even offered us a tasting of a tequila blanco we hadn't tried before. We had a cup of the delicious vegetable minestrone, which came with their homemade biscuits- a meal in itself. Yet, we were still hungry so we kept overnight My husband ordered the BTL which came with chips and a small side of fresh fruit. He said it was good enough, but somewhat plain. I ordered the mixed green salad with grilled chicken and it was lovely and large enough for an entree. The atmosphere is ok. Given the location and pace it has a lot of potential. Given there are not a lot of places for lunch, this is a good spot to try.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast on this beautiful fall day. The coffee is amazing, he got iced and I got hot. We ordered two of their signature dishes, the Nasty and The Braeburn. The food was delicious and unique, and the service was great! They had some cool hand blown glass tumblers for water, and it turns out that the business next door makes them which is a great place to stop afterward! Would highly recommend.

This is a breakfast must go to in Langley! We were in town for the Murder Mystery weekend, so all the restaurants had crazy waits and slower than normal service, so we took the hour wait to be seated and the hour wait for our food with a grain of salt and we hope that the service is not normally that slow! Our server and the hostess were very nice despite being super busy. The food made up for the slow service regardless! OMG the Braeburn, which is a fried chicken waffle sandwich with apple butter, maple butter, and Burbon bacon was to die for. I have never been so full but wanted to keep eating so badly lol. My husband got a double cheeseburger, which he really enjoyed as well!

Today was our second visit to the Braeburn after our first while we were staying in the area. Today we drove from home, took a ferry and came all the way to Langley for this breakfast and it was even better than last time!I ordered the carne asada bowl and my husband ordered the eggs Benedict - classic! That is until we saw the fried chicken eggs Benedict get dropped off to the lady sitting next to us at the bar and we immediately asked our bartender if we had time to upgrade our order. He made it happen! Great bloody Mary's (maybe the best I've had) another amazing breakfast and great service by our bartender Jake today. Can't wait to come back again soon!

We love this place. We try to come every time we're on Whidbey. We literally plan our day trips around what days they are open. The staff is so nice and accommodating. We came with our dog on a beautiful day and they got the back courtyard tables set up for us. Their menu is labeled for gluten free (which is so appreciated), and they're able to make other things gluten free, so just make sure to ask - and they might be able to do it! They were able to do gluten free French Toast (which was delicious), and then they asked if I'd like some bacon or sausage, etc. to go with it. My partner added sausage to his omelet and really enjoyed it. I also eyed the gluten free apple crisp but didn't have room for it in the end. Parking is very easy, especially in the back. We were seated without a wait (on a Wednesday).

I brought an out of town guest here for lunch after picking her up at the Clinton Ferry. First, the service (albeit friendly) was incredibly slow despite being seemingly well-staffed.We each ordered a sandwich with a side of potato salad. Her BLT was pretty lackluster. My Ruben was terrible. I'm not sure the meat was even pastrami. It seemed more like the consistency of chipped beef that had been over cooked to the point of being dry and crumbly, but then was glued together with some melted Swiss cheese. The potato salad with apple and bacon sounded promising but tasted overwhelmingly of what we could only guess was garlic powder and liquid smoke. Very bizarre and unappealing taste.
