The Blue Glass

Finally tried this spot and can attest the food is delicious here. Recommend the Dungeness crab orzo. Staff was quick and friendly. And there is a happy hour. Reason for lack of star: the food doesn't match the ambience. Does that make sense? I walked in to what looked like a dive bar with Christmas lights and bar stools but the menu was pretty upscale and pricy. It didn't make sense to me. Other than that though, it's a nice spot to try and enjoy especially with a small group. Good overhead 90s music too.

We hadn't been to The Blue Glass in a few years but it proved to be just as cozy, intimate and delicious as we recalled. Service was friendly and fast, and the place has a great welcoming vibe. We settled into a table next to several gals who were enjoying their Ahi tuna and a generous burger with truffle fries. 'Try one!' they said and held a plate out--you don't get that everywhere but that's the friendly vibe here. Hubby had the lobster risotto which he enjoyed; I had the crab roll which was rich and luscious--and yes, I went for the truffle fries. This is a great place to pop in for dinner or even just a drink. We'll be back--sooner than later!

My friend and I ate here for brunch and both ordered the braised short rib & kimchi benedict. It was really flavorful and the potatoes were nice and crispy. However, our food came out cold which was disappointing.The service was another disappointment. Our glasses of water were dirty (you could still see a lipstick mark on my glass), so we asked for new glasses of water. We were never brought out clean glasses of water. It looked like there was only one server/bartender for the entire restaurant and patio!! Which could also explain why our food came out cold if it was sitting there for a bit. My friend had also ordered a side a bacon, which was forgotten about and she had to ask for it again.I'm glad there was the $20 off $100 Yelp deal that we used. Although the food was unique, it didn't stand out enough for me to return.

I live nearby and have passed by this spot so many times. Decided to give it a shot for brunch with friends. Maybe they are better know for drinks and dinner as brunch was average. The service was fantastic- our waiter constantly checked on us without being intrusive, was super efficient getting water glasses filled, coffee refills and getting the food out. The reasons for low rating on brunch- they do not have espresso. , only regular drip coffee or decaf drip. No fresh juices, but there is OJ. They have a sizeable breakfast menu. I got the tostadas, vegetarian and they were fine. The rest of the table got the seattle scramble with chorizo and were disappointed. One friend barely touched her food. It was bland and just unappetizing was how they described it. Not much was eaten there which was sad- but the ambience and space was lovely. I would come back and give them a shot at just drinks ( hh) or other food on the menu. They have lots of seating and a good space. The place did get filled up around lunchtime- so it could be that other items on the menu are way better.

Stoped by this place by accident and we are so happy that we did. The food is great and as well as the drinks. The staff is great very nice and so knowledgeable of all they make. Recommend this place so much. Oh did I tell you the ambiance of the place is so cool trip hop music .

Way over priced happy hour with minimal service. $9 beer was the happy hour price. The food was okay. Not worth it.

Food exceeded expectations, fries and Brussel sprouts were a delight. Great service. They have outdoor seating and a small parking lot in the back. We came here on a Wed at 5 pm and there was ample parking. They offer $20 off $100 with Yelp (offer avail after I checked in). And they have us a happy hour discount.

My hubby & I had the pleasure of getting to know one our new neighborhood restaurants, The Blue Glass. From the start, I was drawn into their cozy vibe by beautiful artwork, beyond friendly staff and we hadn't even eaten yet! We had the Special, a papparadelle al ragu situation, which was insane. But the out-of-this-world short ribs & parmesan-laced polenta walks in and just blew off the roof. Incredible. So glad this spot is a 5 minute walk away. We will surely do a lot more pilates and cardio because of it.

Food was great. Ambience was great. Service was great. We met the owner James, super nice guy! :)He overheard my boyfriend saying he wasn't a fan of the first beer he tried and James gave him a different one on the house without hesitation. We will come back when we are in the area.

Excellent menu. It ain't cheap, but it's worth every penny!Most of the servers are friendly and show skill and experience.
