This is the 3rd time I've tried calling this business to order something to go. I even asked my sister to call thinking maybe they just don't like my phone number . I called 10 times while driving there, same as the last time and nobody answered. This time, however, when I arrived there was a note posted saying they were closed due to the ice.... Very strange since everyone around them happen to be open. . It would have been nice to have added to the voicemail that they were closed. But like I said, this is 3 times now that I've called and have YET for anyone to answer the phone. Dream the impossible dream. On a happier note, I ended up at Flat Iron (right around the corner) and OMG! Best steak EVER!!Update, Adding because I tried calling yet again to place an another order to go. Called and called and called. No answer ... seems to be the norm... Had to park, go in, order in person, wait 30 minutes for my food. Out of curiosity since I had all this time now to wait for my family's food, I called while I was just sitting there waiting.... And nope, still not a single person answered but it did look like they would look at where the phone was and just ignored it. Why do I keep going here? Because the food is good, and it's different than a normal pizza joint or burger joint. It just sucks that not ONCE have they EVER answered the phone to take an order to go. Like, why? I can only imagine how much business they have lost due to this. I will also add that MASA and Flat iron are my new favorites however! So Black Ducks loss is MASA and Flat Iron win. And guess what? BOTH of these restaurants actually answer the phone. Shocking

Got two black duck pizzas to go ($21 each), and I thought it was a good deal for artisan pizza. The duck sauce tasted a bit like Chinese hoisin sauce, and the combo with the goat cheese and arugula worked surprisingly well. The pizza crust was one of the best I've had - perfectly chewy, not too greasy, right amount of flavor. I would be interested in trying some of the other pizzas next time!

I have been here many times and it never disappoints. It's my favorite place to stop after hiking along the I-90 corridor. Great food, better beer/whiskey. Highly recommend after a long hike.

It may be just me (seriously), but I not realize that we were literally going to eat at a bar. And not because it's "21 and over" but because the place is literally a thin long strip like a traditional bar area, but is extended just a little wider with a thick cotton tent-like enclosed area, as you can see in the picture to provide a larger space, and protect from the elements. I do not have an issue with that but if you're expecting something different, I just wanted you to be aware. Also, because of the structure that I just explained, if you go, when it's cold outside, you are going to be very very very cold. They didn't seem to have any of those heaters that attach to the ceiling and they were not offering any of those individual heaters that restaurants seem to have now that sit on the floor near your feet. They did have blankets folded on every single chair in the place. Even the waitress was shiveringI'm not able to comment on the food since my husband has a ton of temporary food restrictions so after sitting down and spending some time looking over the menu, we weren't able to make anything really work that we would really enjoy eating, so we kindly declined and left. They were nice about it.So the two big takeaways are for you to be aware that you can't take anyone under 21 and that if it's cold, dress, super warm because you're going to be cold

My go-to place for great beer and food in Issaquah! The gastropub ambiance is good for both a casual outing or a fun time out, and it can get pretty busy at times. Indoor and outdoor seating with bathrooms inside.Their rotating beer menu is bound to have something you'll like but their cocktails are also surprisingly good. For food, I always get the black duck pie and the duck gravy poutine. Last time I tried the black duck drummers and grilled romaine as well which were also tasty.

We stopped by The Black Duck Cask and Bottle in Issaquah. Been coming here for years and I love this place, as they always have a great selection of beer, and tasty food. I was planning to get the duck gravey poutine, but then there unique Zucchini fritter Bahn Mi caught my eye. My wife wanted one too, so I got one with added duck and my wife got one with avocado. Both were extremely delicious, and very filling. Served on typical Bahn Mi rolls, with aioli, pickled carrots, dikon and halalpnos. Large just zucchini patties, and large amounts of duck or avocado... wonderful.I also got a "Cali Creamin" nitro ale. It was silky smooth, and had a slightly nutty and sweet taste. It went perfectly with the sandwich. The menu called it cream soda for adults, and I agree!

Wow! What an amazing place. We were just passing through and of course checked Yelp on the way in when we decided to stop for an early dinner. We were seated right away despite it being busy. Sitting outside was OK despite the heat - they have nice shaded areas. Our server was pretty great. She was casual and knowledgeable. She didn't see that one of the beers wasn't delivered and that's on her, but, that was literally it.We started with the Duck Gravy Poutine. So amazing! A bit greasy but in a good way. I mean, duck is pretty greasy to begin with and they tone it down with the fries and I think brisket that was on it. So good.I had the brisket french dip. I almost never order french dip. No reason, just don't. But, brisket! Come on! Anyway, it was amazing. Awesome sauce and the flavor on the sandwich was just so much. Got it with the sweet potato tots. Those were also brimming with flavor. One thing is that they didn't hold up very well. Kept falling apart. Oh well, scoop with a fork and move on.She got the pig pancake. I think it's on the appetizer menu. Also really good. The egg was cooked to perfection - not too hard and not too runny. We both at half our meals to save space for desert. Both heated up well for lunch the next day!We had the cast iron cookie with ice-cream for desert. Not sure if this was intentional or a mistake, but, the cookie was pretty underdone almost all over. The edges were fine, but the middle was very much dough. I mean, it's cookie do so that didn't stop us .Anyway, it was all great and if we're ever passing through again we'll certainly make the effort to stop by.

Excellent bar program with great cocktails and good beer selection. Everything I've had has been delicious. Definitely get the poutine. Add the duck. And get the duck legs. And find any other way possible to order duck. Or if you're a weirdo and don't love duck the way you should, order anything else and it will be delicious. Just won't be duck. Which is, in my opinion, an unfortunate missed opportunity. Oh and the GM, at lease the one I met, was super cool. For real, go here and order duck.

I came around 7pm on a weekday and was seated quickly. The restaurant has blankets for guests which is a nice touch. We ordered the pepperoni pie and sweet potato tots. The tots were a miss. It came with a bleu cheese ale sauce that we both didn't like, so we asked for ketchup to make the tots more bearable. The pepperoni pie was thin (which I don't mind), oily, and the crust was hard to finish. I usually enjoy my pizza crust, but this was too hard to bite/chew. The pie was okay overall, but I wouldn't order either again if I came back. The area around this restaurant is cute and worth walking around post-meal!
