I'm always a fan of this place! Their bagel selection is superb and the bagels taste amazing, no matter what they put on it. I also have never had a bad latte out of this place. I sort of wish they did an online ordering system to save time; the line can get occasionally long.

Yummy food selection and a great coffee menu. I enjoyed a Cardi B Mocha - a Cardamom Brown Sugar Mocha and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with ham and Swiss. Service was friendly and quick. The ambiance is cute as a walk up window coffee house. Highly recommend.

This quaint coffee shop in West Seattle is a place you are going to want to stop by. Delicious coffee beverages, Italian sodas and smoothies to start. Yummy breakfast items including giant burritos and sandwiches. They also serve lunch. I have tried their sausage breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese on a brioche bun. Delicious. Also add lil' mamas aioli for a nice tasty kick. Everyone there is super friendly. Enjoy!

So glad to have a grab-n-go/takeout breakfast & lunch spot on the southern end of West Seattle. The food is consistently great, the coffee is tasty (i get a latte or Cardi P), and the people working there are courteous and friendly. The menu items may seem a but pricey but you get what you pay for - good quality food. I appreciate that even with a lot of chopped bacon in the egg, it's not salty. The Rancher is one of my favorite sandwiches but everything on the menu has been great as well.

Soup is darn good. Wanted something warm healthy and feel good. This lentil soup delivered. Instantly felt better and able to get back to work. Thanks for the 'home cookin' folks.

Wow! Absolutely the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Well, actually a breakfast croissant. I recommend to get "the works" on your sandwich choice. This staff was super friendly and chipper. The seating vibe outside along a side street is perfect for a sunny day! I'll certainly be back soon!

My boyfriend said he was in the mood for a breakfast burrito before his bowling tournament today so in my Yelp-girlfriend-fashion, I searched for spots near us. The Birdhouse popped up as #1 and I have heard of this spot but never been here myself. The breakfast menu is extensive! They have salads, toasts, sandwiches, bagels, burritos, pastries, etc. I got a Smoked salmon bagel sandwhich and it was SO good! I loved everything on it but personal preference, I'd ask for no pickled onions next time. A little too onion-y for me which overpowered the rest of the toppings. My boyfriend loved his burrito and said it cured the craving. It is a walk up business so when we got there, they already had a line going. I would keep in mind that drinks come out pretty fast but food takes about 10 minutes.. or at least it did for us on a Sunday morning. The only flaw, in my opinion, is this spot doesn't have any matcha! They do have a pretty big drink menu which is amazing but I wish they had a drink for us matcha lovers. Thank you, Birdhouse, for keeping us full for tournament day!

Pricy little sandwiches that are worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. Serving size of the sandwich was great! No little sandwich served at this joint! They also dont short you on meat or avocado! Stopped by for brunch after getting out of the airport, and I was not disappointed. Not only was the gentlemen at the front window literally the nicest, but even with a long, long line the sandwiches came out super fast. I never felt rushed even though I had menu questions. They cater to food allergies and have a ton of options. I'm lactose and gluten intolerant in a BAD way. I hate looking for food in a rush because I'm always afraid I'll have an upset stomach when I travel, but this was such a find! Did I mention the coffee??? Best one I've had in a while! Multiple milk alternative option and flavors. Overall great breakfast, brunch, or coffee spot.

Seattle has so many cool little food establishments stuffed into hole-in-the-wall buildings, trailers, pretty much any covered space you can think of. The Birdhouse has no interior seating, just a couple of windows for ordering/picking up your selections. We stopped here a couple times during our work trip and enjoyed the excellent sandwiches here.We had the Firebird and the Farmhouse. The Firebird has smoked turkey layered with pepperjack cheese and lettuce with their own spicy hot sauce, set atop a scrumptious chewy jalapeno chedder bagel. The sauce definitely has a kick but it all melds together nicely. The Farmhouse is a turkey/ham/cheddar affair using a more traditional style hoagie bun slathered with a mustard/mayo sauce. Both were huge sandwiches (I had to save part of mine for later snacking at the hotel) and all of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. There are all sorts of coffee drinks here (natch, it's Seattle) and some dessert items as well. Great little place to stop in the neighborhood. Recommended.

Very cute hole in the wall with a beautiful mural and some outdoor seating. I loved the breakfast burrito, one of the best I've had. I made it vegetarian by asking for no bacon. The Mexican-inspired spiced mocha was also excellent. Friendly staff who were joking with each other and customers. On a second visit, they got my drink order wrong and then they said they fixed it , but I still ended up with the wrong drink. I assume it was an anomaly because it was very busy that time.
