The Berliner Döner Kebab

Really disappointing takeout from here tonight. It was not traditional Döner meat! (Meat sliced off the spit). The Döner kebab sandwich had hardly any meat at all (see photo). Salad was large and had a decent amount, but it was just grilled meat strips that were dry and tough. The descriptions on the menu sound good, but the execution was shameful. Will not be ordering from here again.

Small counter service restaurant. Not really any seating (they have a couple small tables outside but thats it) so it's really meant for take out. I ordered a beef and lamb sandwich and a beef and lamb plate. Food was ready super quickly (under 5 min at 12:45pm on a weekday). When I came in to pick up, the two people working the counter were very friendly. The food is good especially for the price in this part of town. I think the best part was the bread: it was substantial enough not to disintegrate, but still soft and not tough at all. The meat was fine; it could be a little more flavorful but it wasn't bad. The portion of meat could be a little bigger, so if you're super hungry order double, but for the price I think it was fair.

I was working next door and couldn't resist the temptation to try this place as I spent a couple years in Germany and used to work at a Turkish joint for a bit. Holy hell, this place is superb. The bread alone could save the world. Definitely check it out if you love German+Turkish Döner.

This tastes accurate to what's sold in Germany -- I liked the house Turkish bread that reminded me of the Döner in Germany (crunchy exterior and soft interior). Meat was cut pretty finely and had lots of crispy bits, which I like (but some might not like).I would highly encourage double meat since the meat amount would probably be scant with a normal portion. I gave 3 stars due to the portion size and value (I was just satiated by the double meat portion). I'd say the grab and go competition of food trucks nearby provide slightly better lunch value for satiety. $13.25 (pretax) for double meat spicy kreuzberg, $10.25 (pretax) non doubled).Service workers here seem a bit sullen and the person working the register seemed a bit grumpy.As of Nov 2022, the Doordash promo is a scam by the way -- there's a $3 premium ordering by the app, which erases coupon savings!

Fantastic $9.25 meal for a Berliner chicken sandwich. Highlight was the homemade bread which was crisp on the outside and not too dense on the inside. Reminded me of foccaccia bread. I cant speak to how authentic it tasted vs those available in Berlin. As a mediterranean food/donor lover however, I can say I will definitely be back!All ordering is done contactless, self service stations. Food us available quickly, even during the lunch rush hour.

I rated the stars for poor business prep as we decided to go to this place for our 3rd trip- the food was delicious the 1st two times! And service was quick. Last night we arrive to a sign posted "sold out" "only tofu" available. How do you "sell" out of meat when you are a kebab restaurant at 5:30 on a Thursday ??! I don't know if we will tempt it again to try but very sad that this place has no business sense.

Great food at an affordable price (at least compared to all the other lunch options in the area). Their bread is probably what makes it so good, but I quite like the sauce that they put on the Berliner sandwich too

I've been here a few times and tried a few of their chicken sandwiches and I have finally found the sandwich I like! I like their house chicken sandwich due to the garlic sauce--I have found their fiery sauce a bit too sweet? And the more medium sauce too flavorless. The house chicken isn't spicy but I manage. But service is great. You order on iPads in the story, and they make the sandwich pretty much right away. I've never had to wait too long. There are also some outdoor seating areas that can be full during lunch hour, but there's plenty of places to eat outdoors around here. Definitely a local lunch spot for me!

Picked up Chicken Fiery Kreuzberg (spicy yogurt chili sauce, mild pepper rings, romaine, tomato, cucumber, red cabbage, house bread)The chicken tasted good. But all in all, I found it to be rather dry. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or the bread. Overall, quite good, but not worth returning to.Service was quick though
