The Beehive

Omggggg! Now this place is a hidden gem!!!! We chanced not having reservations here and lucked out!! We arrived around 7:30, minutes before the music was to start and sat in the area. It was a great experience!! The musicians were amazing !!! We ordered the following food... *MUSSELS FRITES, LEMONGRASS, COCONUT MILK, LINGUICIA SAUSAGE, BREAD This was soooo tasty and plentiful!!! *DRY AGED BURGER, MALT ONION JAM, VERMONT CHEDDAR, AIOLI with BACON and truffle fries This burger was huge and yummy! * ROASTED CHICKEN, LEMON, GARLIC WHIPPED RED POTATOES, BROCCOLI This entree was on the healthy side but delicious. lol Overall, the entrees we ordered were great choices. We ended up leftovers to enjoy later. The music experience was AWESOME!! Our server Andrea was very kind and pleasant. We appreciate that. An amazing experience here!!! Look forward to dining here again and enjoying music!!!!!

There was live music playing some jazz, but we were seated in a place that couldn't really see our even hear the jazz well. But the music gave a nice lift to the place. I had a good first date here.~The Food~Despite the other reviews I found the food to be just ok. Lots of flavor, but almost unnecessarily? It was pretty expensive for the portions we got. But for a place like this, I wouldn't come for the food. It's another type of bar you go for the vibes, some drinks, and enjoy live music (if you can get a good seat).~The Logistics~There is plenty of parking around the area and seating. Although I have heard sometimes when the band is great, it's hard to get a seat at times. My initial experience was pretty subpar, but I can see how with a great band and some drinks, it can get quite lively and enjoyable.

Jazz band at one end and pumped in music at the other end , Our server was amazing made recommends and the food was delicious on a warm summer evening The best bartending I've see at any bar , the bartenders see you and acknowledge you so you're patiently waiting!

This place is such a gem!! We went here for our anniversary, and wow! Loved it. The jazz was so good, so fun, and just elevates the whole place. The decor, and the lighting is so warming. The staff were exceptional. Our waiter was kind, attentive and helpful. I wish I got his name!! The food was delicious! I had the pesto gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms and my boyfriend had the fusilli pasta with Italian sausage. Both were devoured. The drinks were wonderful. Perfect balance of strong and tasty. We loved every moment here. Thank you for the perfect date night, Beehive!!

3.5/5We went for brunch and the food was mediocre but I could see this as such a cute spot for drinks especially with the live music!! I ordered the eggs benedict - the eggs were a tad overcooked and weren't runny. I left most of my salad untouched as it was the dressing was too bitter and the vegetables themselves did not taste super fresh

Overall: to preface we went during a holiday special menu brunch time so *maybe* it's not indicative...Food: I ordered the French toast which was very mediocre. I was hoping for some more egginess or maybe some more flavor. It tasted like sugar dusted toast. Ambience/Decor/Service: the music was super nice ambience to sit around and the number of seats in the place lead me to believe that it's really popular especially at night. Maybe not the place for brunch.

I feel a little ambivalent (leaning negative) about The Beehive for a handful of reasons: The good:-The food was notably excellent -Live music was a nice touch to brunch The bad:-We ordered coffees at the start of our meal (they only had black coffee for $5 a cup) and it was never brought out to us, though we were charged for it and had to tell our server this -Service was overall mediocre-The restaurant is INCREDIBLY CRAMPED - we were touching backs with the people around us and our table was tiny! -Dishes seemed overpriced for portion sizes -There was a charge/tax for being there during a performance that was not communicated when I made the reservation I probably wouldn't go back. The ambiance was unpleasant and especially near the band made me feel almost claustrophobic. The food was great and in other establishment would be 5 stars, but other factors knocked it down to a 3.

The vibes here are always high and the service is above and beyond. They are always making sure you are taken care of and happy with your seat or meal or drink. The jazz music is loud so keep that in mind but it's always so much fun! The food is fresh and delicious. The white bean dip is a must! So good. Butternut squash risotto was so creamy, adult Mac and cheese. After dinner we stayed around and got more drinks by the bar in the standing room. All of their cocktails are so good. I come here for dinner or just to grab a drink. Love this place so much!

The Beehive is a quirky little place tucked into Tremont under an unassuming sign. We got a warm greeting when we entered and they hostess was kind enough to take our luggage so we didn't have to drag it around We were seated at a very small table. It would have been appropriate for drinks during a show but made eating dinner a bit of a balancing act. I'll call the space "boho" which feels generous. Things feels a bit tattered and old, which it fine for a music venue but not great for a restaurant We had the arancini, a scallop special, little gem salad, lobster gnocchi, and short ribs. The appetizers were very tasty, well cooked, and well presented. The entrees were generous portions and I can attest that the gnocchi was delicious and creamy. The salad was over dressed, but not inedibleThe service itself can only be described as awkward. Our server seemed to be trying hard, but forgot information, kept repeating himself, and rambled fairly endlessly before leaving us to eat. It made the dining experience itself a little strange and uncomfortable I would come back for the food, but I'm not sure the food is good enough to overcome some of the other shortcomings

First time here. wished we were seated by the stage to hear the music as it was muffled by the bar and column we were near. It a little tight so if you don't mind some else sitting a foot from you no problem.The food was delicious as the drinks service was good but felt a little rushed to turn the table I did notice the manager hovering over the staff to turn the tables
