The Bar at Rancho Bernardo Inn

This is a rather upscale 19th hole on the Rancho Bernardo Inn golf course with indoor and outdoor seating. The patio overlooks the golf course. Drinks are good. I haven't tried the food, but it looks quite appetizing. Service is very good.

We are downstairs at the bar now having a drink after a late lunch at The Veranda . The Bar is located downstairs next to the restaurant and bathrooms . Service is nice and efficient . The bar is getting busier with locals and tourists . There's comfortable air conditioning which is great when it's 90 degrees outside .We ordered house cab for two and a cranberry vodka . Nice pours of wine (not sure price) . Cranberry vodka looks small but friend said it's tasty and well made .Free parking ! Would come back again .

They have a 2 hour limit don't go here terrible service and over price food...and bad food its not on the menu that we had to leave at certain point ..

We've come here a few times for lunch now and are really enjoying it. The cocktails are good, food is great and service is mostly friendly. I ordered the burger last time and was blown away! It was a perfect cook (medium rare) with a great char on it and the side salad (although a $4 up charge) is full of toppings including my personal favorite, red onion. Pretty sure when we want a classier lunch, this is our place. It's still close to home in Esco, lots of parking and the veranda on the golf course is gorgeous for an elegant outdoor experience. Definitely the bar is a nice little hidden gem and usually pretty quiet during the day.

Newly remodeled, it's brought up to date with some fun chalkboards at the table.I always love the atmosphere and service (Vickie Miller's laughter is the best) but the food needs to offer some healthier options.I'm a local, so I'll always be back and I always introduce people to the hidden gem, RBInn

This is my favorite splurge in town the best for the best service in the absolutely best setting

On 6/21, there was Junior golf tournament at Rancho Bernardo Inn golf course. Snack bar was closed at 4pm and our daughter needed water because it was hot day.I had to go to the bar asked 4 bottle water. I was surprised when bartender told me that is will be $20.48.Basically it is more than $5 per bottle for regular water bottle? I had no choice that I had to pay. But I found out that Proshop also sold water and it was half price $2.50 and it is bigger bottle water. Of course. I returned all the bottles to the bar. Bartender was trying to say excuse to me but didn't want to deal with him.But I am not satisfied with the price of water. I can see that bar is taking advantage of people who need water in hot weather. Only 100 ft away at the proshop was nice to help me.I am wondering if the bartender just tried to rip off me or seriously a bottle of water is $5. If he tried rip off me, he doesn't deserve to work there and if a bottle is $5, that is totally ridiculous. As we all know golf courses are closing. Is that the way to serve customer who want to play golf there?I wonder if bar is NOT part of RBI.PLEASE BE CAREFUL PEOPLE!!!

Food / cuisine was excellent Service is fabulous. Waiters always there To attend to all yours request. Very calming, relaxing, and low-keyAmbiance . A court/ patio dining Was very refreshing.

Food is good, but way overpriced and terrible service. We got a shrimp Caesar salad, it had 4 shrimp on it and it was $30. We also got the chips and salsa and the chips were extremely stale. Service is slow and takes forever. Happy hour options are not good & are limited.

I was in the bar earlier this week to meet my dad for dinner. We had a fantastic steak, perfectly cooked! Bar was very comfortable, and fun setting to watch games on the T.V.'s., and service was impeccable. The bartender Sherry were so friendly, we had a great evening! The manager Calvin even came by to check on us and say hello. Later he sent a dessert knowing that I was meeting with my dad to catch up. I really thought that was such a nice gesture. We appreciated the service and kind people working, and can't wait to go back. I also have to mention Jim from the bar. I was there early hanging out, and we had some great conversation, and he kept checking back with me to make sure I had everything I needed. I was at the hotel for 2 days, and saw him again during the day, and had the same experience. I really appreciated the great service and friendly conversation. I could probably go on, but I lastly have to mention Paul, who took over for Jim. He was so friendly and made sure we always had anything we needed. I can confidently say that we will be spending more time at Rancho Bernardo Inn after such a great experience, and that is entirely to do with the service, and friendly team they have throughout the hotel.
