The Banshee

Nice bar to watch the games in. Saw a few euro games in there. Service is very quick wings were very good had a nice kick to them. Not a bad little bar.

This bar was adequate. Nothing to write home about. Beer was shockingly good though. Bald bartender was a little rude but I guess that Boston pubs for ya.

Very dark, somewhat dirty, and tables are cluttered. Empty at 12:30pm on a sunny Wednesday. Very limited menu of poor options, Super dark bathroom. Server was low energy, took a while to get two iced teas with only one other person in the house. Iced tea was not good. Burns the throat like Nestea from a can. Food was okay. Sandwich better than entree. Not very appealing in the presentation. Expensive. Nothing worth returning for.

Came here with my parents for some quick food on a late Sunday afternoon. The service was really quick and the guys working were super friendly. They have some really nice sandwiches that I highly recommend. Outdoor and indoor seating with a lot of TVs. They have an upstairs space too. It can get pretty packed for games so just be prepared!

A classic American bar conveniently located in the corner of dorchester that's great for hangout with friends. We got the chicken tenders with honey mustard which was delicious!! We also got dumplings and the screaming banshee for drinks but they're your typical bar food/drinks, nothing really stood out to me. The service was quick and our waiter was friendly. The atmosphere was nice with a moderate amount of seatings and the music wasn't too loud which I enjoyed! I had a great time catching up with friends there. No, no, NO, seriously, NO, just don't bother! I can't believe the rude experience I had & that was from the owner. That's right, the owner. So here's what happened: I walked in, but nowhere to sit, so I stood waiting to see if anybody was leaving. A server came over to ask if I wanted something to drink/menu & I said water. She came back & also handed me a menu. Am I supposed to eat standing up or something? Anyway, after a few min some people left & I got a spot at the bar. Not even five minutes later the owner comes over to say I needed to order. Um, what now? He gave me an entire speech about how I can't be wasting time & he's running a business & how I needed to order now, not on my time but his. Excuse me, WHAT?! Since when does anybody else dictate when you order? The nerve of some people. What a total schmuck. If I could give a negative value, I would. NEVER AGAIN!

Just went in for a beer. It's a nice Lil bar, the bar tender was nice. I didn't interact with her much. It's a nice bar, has that good ole Boston bar feel.

I thought this place was okay. The steak tips and side salad I had were good, but the mashed potatoes I got had no flavor at all, they completely lacked salt. When I asked our waiter for some salt and a glass of water, both times it took them forever, it was like they completely forgot about me. Personally I wouldn't come back.

Alex is the best server I've ever had, hands down. He was attentive and has a great sense of humor. 10/10 would go back

Always the best place to go in Dorchester, the chicken tenders are by far the best I've ever had. Great place to grab a drink and food. Everyone is great there from the bouncers to the bartenders and servers. All around a great place to be.
