FIRST, Tonya was AMAZING!!!! She listens to what you want and then gives AWESOME suggestions on how to make your event even better, while still aligning with your vision!I used her services for my wedding reception of 200+ guests and she did a SPECTACULAR JOB!!! All of the food was awesome. From the short rib, to the pasta and chicken milano, down to the coconut shrimp, salad and appetizers. DIVINE! My mother in law personally enjoys her strawberry walnut salads so much, that she could have eaten it alone and been fine. She has great options for vegans as well.Very Reasonable pricing, and a GREAT DEAL!!! Exquisite presentation & Superb Work!

I attended an event that was cater by this company. The food was delicious. I have had other southern style restaurants but this was by far the best I've had in San Diego. The chicken and waffles were great.

Thank you for making my birthday party such an awesome event. The chicken and waffles, crab hush puppies, fruit and veggie platters with home made dips were amazing! The presentation and service were impeccable. If you want to cater event and have it done right, contact them today. Worth every penny!

Used them to provide some last minute deserts, they were wonderful! So far everything I have tasted has been great!

First let me say that it was hard to find a caterer in San Diego. There were some that said they would do the event then weeks later they would tell me they were booked. Others would not send a quote once I spoke to them and finally there were some that flat out never called me back. Tonya was very professional and responsive from the start. She also worked with me to plan a unique combination of entrees that met all the dietary requirements I had. I like that she came out a week prior to do a site inspection, meet us and get the lay of the land. Once the day of the event came she showed up 2 hours prior to the guest arriving (as promised) and had everything she needed. Sh was ready on time to serve the meal. We had her team serve a buffet line. Service went well with Tonya calling the tables to get in line. The line moved smoothly. Tonya kept close contact with me throughout the event to make sure everything stayed on schedule. During the event and while there was down time in the kitchen (after dinner was served) she managed to get out on the dance floor for a song or two as well. This really added a warming factor that made her and her team a part of the event.After the event was over Tonya and her team cleaned up all their trash so we couldn't even tell they were there. They left the kitchen clean as well. She boxed up all the leftovers and placed them in the refrigerator.An added bonus was that she cut and served the birthday cake that I prepared for our guest. She also served the champagne and sparkling cider for the toast.I only have two items for constructive criticism. 1) It would be great if Tonya found another method of payment that does not charge a 4% client processing fee as did PayPal. I hated having to pay that. 2) As a client you should make sure and let her know in advance if you want reduced salt or sugar in any of the food items. I thought the chicken was a tad on the salty side but I am the type of person that never adds salt to a meal after it is cooked. I am sure Tonya would accommodate a request like this. I should have thought of this in advance so I am not dinging her for it.Our event was in the backyard birthday dinner at a residence. It was a buffet style dinner with service for 60 people. I would definitely recommend Tonya and use her again.

DO NOT HESITATE BOOKING THE BAKERS OVEN & CREAMERY. Tonya and her staff were OUTSTANDING! She is very responsive, professional and personable. I was planning this from out of state but wasn't as challenging as i thought it would be. She showed up at the Airbnb well in advance to set up and was ready by the time we got back from the graduation ceremony. I have never had southern cooking before and when i asked her to come up with a menu for my event, the results was absolutely amazing and delicious. I am a little surprised i trusted her with the menu, but that is how comfortable she made me feel. She came with such a fun, respectful and attentive staff. Could not have asked for a better crew to take care of my guests. Do not forget to include her homemade ice cream to your menu. Next time i book an event in San Diego, i will definitely be calling you again. Thank you for making it so special.

Tonya is THE best! I hired TBO&C to cater my boyfriend's birthday party at Balboa Park for about 24 people on a Saturday morning. From the very first email, Tonya was responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful. She crafted a menu for the party and ran with a couple ideas I had. I could tell she cares for her clients and delivering the best service. She scoped out the location of the party before the event and was there early, the set up was beautiful, and she thought about all the details. The best part was THE FOOD! She made a complete breakfast spread and it was absolutely delicious. The French Toast bake was the best we've ever had (so many guests said that too). It was crisp on the outside and flavorful and soft on the inside. She also made this sausage hash that was seasoned perfectly. She served the food to all the guests and kept it warm. The fruit spread was beautiful too! I highly recommend Tonya for any event that you are planning to have! She has the biggest heart and it shows in her food and her company. Thank you for making my boyfriend's birthday so special!

I had the pleasure of hiring Tonya Davis and her staff for our yearly Latin American Technical Summit at Illumina. Tonya provided us with a delicious lunch of beef, veggies, and mashed potatoes served to perfection. She also had 2 additional staff members stay on site to help clean up and serve the guest. Her attention to detail by bringing centerpieces for the tables and the extra care in presenting a beautiful presentation of food shows how much she cares about providing excellent service. We also had The Bakers Oven & Creamery provide us with homemade ice cream for an ice social later that day. Her homemade ice cream, cookies and lemonade were a huge hit and enjoyed by everyone. If you have a catering event please consider using their services you won't be disappointed.
