They serve an $18 Old Fashioned made with an $8 bottle of well blended whiskey. If you're going to charge the price, serve the appropriate bourbon. Obviously not worth the overpriced well liquor.

Not stuffed with tables inside but instead has two lounge areas and a comfortable bar. Tons of liquor on the bar wall. I liked it. Would be cool at night too (I was there for lunch.)Nice, but not big, tv in the middle of the bar showing sports.We were attended to immediately and gave our orders. Burger sliders and Mac and cheese. Food came out quick and everything was delicious. My (grown) son is picky about his Mac and cheese and he said this was pretty good. I liked the burgers. Fresh tasting meat and good pickles.The kettle chips were as expected. Kettle cooked thick crispy potatoes chips.There was a small issue where I asked for something after the food came and the server forgot about me. This is where is half star was lost. But she was working hard and handling most/all of the tables and the bar on a busy Friday so I don't fault her much. We had constant water refills, and the food and check both came quickly. So really there was no problem at all. The prices were not bad for South Scottsdale bar fare.$13 for three sliders and chips. $6 Mac and cheese.

Superb indoor and outdoor seating options with a refreshing open atmosphere. The staff is exceptional, providing attentive service. Indulge in a delightful espresso martini while exploring the irresistible array of appetizers. I highly recommend trying the spinach and artichoke dip along with the delicious lobster mac and cheese.

Went there for a drink on a day off, was immediately approached to what I assumed was the manager stating that they didn't have any food there kitchen was shut down , to what I later found out was due to lack of supplies. Said I just came in for a drink and he ok and I went to the bar and ordered . He came back again stating they didn't have any food. I ordered another beer and was almost finished when the bartender came up to me and told me that I was going to have to cash out or order another beer. I immediately cashed out and felt that the management was unbelievably rude and unprepared. It was March in old town Scottsdale.

So here's the thing , I come to Arizona every so often and one of ,y fav spots is OTT , this is a sister location of sorts , same owner but a different vibe ..well it used to have a different vibe , looks more like a wanna be restaurant that's trying too hard , the food is ok the menu is way dumbed down from last time I was in town and the cheese pizza was ok , the service was mediocre with both bar tenders mostly standing behind the bar not interacting with customers, they blonde girl who has been there far too long for such low levels of service , like idk how she's still there she has no knowledge had to ask other people for answers has the worst attitude and this fake valley girl blonde thing that's just annoying , bring back the lounge feel make it homey again because this place has only been around a year or so and has already fallen off .

I had a girlfriend visiting from out of town and we decided to see what Old Town was all about. We knew we would find somewhere to eat, but had no idea where. So many places were so loud, it was just too much to talk and we were trying to catch up. When we saw The Back Door Lounge, off to the side, we decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad we did. Our server (I wish I knew his name) was fabulous and the food was spectacular. We ordered the pulled pork mac & cheese (not on the menu, so ask for it) and it was SPECTACULAR! I highly recommend it. My friend got one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches she'd ever had (and ate every crumb). I ordered and devoured the hot Italian sandwich, which was also excellent. Both came with chips. If you are in Old Town Scottsdale and looking for something off the beaten path, this is the place you should try.

I came here on a Friday evening around 10 PM with my partner. We wanted a cocktail as we knew the Civic Center just opened and new businesses were to be explored. With this, we found The Back Door Lounge. The Lounge was very clean, quiet, and lit up. Right away we were offered menus which had light food, desserts, wine, and beer. My partner and I ordered cocktails (Old-Fashioned and a Manhattan), and they were excellent! 5/5 stars - New business and they deserve a chance as they make an excellent drink in a comfortable and clean lounge environment!!

A was there today had the sliders there were. Under cooked and the bartender gave me the bill after two beers like I was done never asked for it and the bill already had the surcharge figured in until I paid cash funny everyone pays with a card,wake up no wonder you guys can't get customers and change the name of the bar it's not inviting one bit. Other than its a cool place and tell the cook that a dirty towel does not belong on the prep table

Please turn the music down on the outdoor speakers for the patio. The two star rating doesn't reflect on the servers or food. The servers are friendly and the food is really good, however we often avoid going here because of the excessively loud music which makes conversation almost impossible. The musicians are great but just too loud.

Went for lunch today. Patio was great to sit and enjoy the sun that came out. That was about it. Oh and the music was good. Only one bartender on. Not too big of a deal but it was getting busy and he was looking a bit stressed. But the food. Ordered quesadilla with steak. Was the worst I ever had. No steak. Just couldnt eat it. My friend ordered steak sandwich and it was just okay but after getting halfway through it she found a hair. Not either one of ours. I mentioned to the server about having no steak in my quesadilla and he discounted. Didn't even mention the hair. Just wanted out of there. Table beside us ordered the same thing and left their meal. Very disappointed and strange seeing all the other reviews. Wouldn't recommend with so many other restaurants around.
