My family and I dined at The Arrogant Butcher on Easter Sunday. We made a reservation for 2:15pm. The place was busy. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated right away.Our server greeted us shortly after and took our drink orders. I ordered a coffee and my guys stuck with water. We then ordered the following:Oysters $3.5 eachCrispy Brussels Sprouts $12Side of fries $7Pacific Sea Bass $32Asian Chopped Salad $13.5Steak and eggs (Easter special) $27The oysters and crispy brussels sprouts were great starters. For my entree, I went with the Pacific Sea Bass which was served with veggies and a lemon caper butter. The flavors were excellent and the entree also happens to be gluten-free! My family and I also shared the side of fries with truffle aioli. The fries had a nice crisp. My guys also enjoyed their entrees. Everyone left content, no complaints!

This may be the first time a restaurant is reviewed without someone actually eating at the establishment. We just left the Diamondbacks game and were looking for a spot to grab an early dinner. On our walk over, my husband began to feel unwell due to the heat and a migraine. (We're from out of state, so this was a bad situation to be in.)We were seared promptly, in a small room just behind the server's station. Once seated, my husband realized he would be unable to eat. Our server - whose name I fid not catch - was incredibly gracious about refilling water glasses for us and giving my husband time to recover enough for us to leave. (No, he did not require emergency personnel.)All this to say, the service we received was extraordinarily kind, even though we had to advise the server we would not be able to stay. We left a tip for the server not out of obligation, but for his kindness in our time of need. Service that goes above and beyond deserves recognition.

Nothing special. Our waitress was nice and very knowledgeable about the menu but the food service was slow. After placing our main order, it took a good 30-40 minutes for it to come out, which isn't great when you're on a time crunch. I had the Kobe Burger which was nothing to write home about - tasted very similar to a burger I've had at Wendy's honestly. Overall, it's a trendy looking restaurant with average food and above average prices. I don't think we'll be returning soon.

So hubby and I decided to go out at the last minutes and was surprised to find this place crowded in a Monday at 6pm we had a 25 minute wait for a table (I highly suggest making reservations) Food, amazing my steak was cooked perfectly great flavor seasoned perfectly. Crispy Japanese Sweet Potatoes were excellent i could eat them all day. My husband had the prime rib good flavor but over cooked he had the Mac and Cheese which was excellent. Desserts i had the cake and it was excellent hubby had the cheesecake which was excellent. We enjoyed our times here and can see us coming back. This gets crowded so just be mindful of that.

You win some and you lose some, I just lost big time at this place. I'm not going to get into much, but the food was horrible! I would have felt better going to Wendy's, and our family doesn't do fast food. The only reason they got a 2 star was because they had exceptionally clean rest rooms. If the wait staff was attentive she would have know there was trouble at my table. Never once asked if there was an issue. Lack of training or lack of caring.

This is a great place for dinner downtown. It's a nice, contemporary ambiance. There is patio seating with a great view of people on their way to Footprint Center.Our server was a delight, and the cocktails were delicious! We had the Atlantic Salmon and the butchers meatloaf--the absolute best meatloaf I've ever had!

Honestly I was a big fan of this place! It was located right next to our hotel, service was great, even with the place being busy and the food was good!!! 3 of us shared a steak, side, pretzel bites, oysters, and a peanut butter pie and I was ready to be rolled out of there. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was on point. I would definitely go back the next time I am in AZ.
