Maybe this is the old Noble Barton space??? I had bookmarked this spot to try the next time I trekked to White Center. We walked in to the smallish dining area and grabbed an open booth since there wasn't any sort of sign or host stand. After awhile I asked my friend if maybe we entered the wrong door since no one had acknowledged our presence at all. As I went to scope out the rest of the place, a server brought over a couple of menus. I was either going to blurt out French Dip but then saw the cheesesteak. Score for the kitchen that keeps the onions separate from the green peppers! Second plus that they had Coke products. Good sandwich and a tiny bit drippy - batter-type fries piping hot. Nice space with a good size bar, skee ball in the back, outdoor area and Big Mario's through another opening. Restrooms seem to be a free for all and I'm not sure how I feel about that. The plaWe lucked out and found a parking space across the street.

My go to bar. Always have a good time here. Drinks are a fuzz on the high side (price wise), but I guess everywhere is expensive.

My sister and I came here for lunch and ordered the vegan wings for her, and I got the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms, fries and a root beer float. I originally ordered a mango drink (can't recall the name) but our server told me after she took our order that they were out of mango, which was ok because I got the root beer float instead. However, when our food arrived, my Philly cheesesteak was a good size and fries were plentiful. The filling of my cheesesteak was tasty and you pay extra for mushrooms, which was worth it to me. However, my sister's vegan wings were very expensive for what she got, which she was disappointed. There was only one server for the small restaurant which majority was about 75% full. What was also disappointing was I overheard party behind me saying something was off about their breakfast and was pretty disgruntled. I don't know what their order was but they were pretty vocal so it was hard not to hear them. The inside itself was very cute, PNW themed and Big Mario's pizza is connected to The Alpine. All in all it wasn't a terrible experience, but for the price and the portion of the vegan wings, we will not be returning.

We hosted a birthday party in the game room and had a great experience. From my first call to inquire about a group reservation through the event, everyone was so friendly and a pleasure to work with. Thanks to Dray for setting us up, and Colby who handled our group that night was awesome! Food and drink was perfect - wide variety of food options for everyone (especially the GF folks that don't do pizza).THANK YOU for a super fun time!

Small space (with big ceilings) decorated to look like an old school ski lodge - they do a good job of creating a fun atmosphere from the second you walk in. We went on a Monday early evening and it was half-full - guessing on a more traditional breakfast time it was or will be hopping. There isn't any space to wait for a table inside so if you're going make sure to dress appropriately to wait outside.Food is classic diner food done well. I got the club sandwich with fries which was very satisfying - great proportion of bread to other ingredients and a huge pile of crispy fries. My dining companion got pancakes and eggs and bacon which looked appropriately fluffy and crispy in the right ways.Service was fast and friendly and we got the check right away. Another fun thing about this place is you can order from Big Mario's pizza and you can order a from a full bar - not usual features of a diner. Excited to come back!

Happy to see someone take over this location, previously closed due to arson. Significant menu and nice ambiance on both the diner and pizza bar side. There's a back room and back patio also. I went for breakfast as I saw they had eggs benedict. I've had this dish over 100 times from San Diego to Wash DC, New Orleans to Denver. Sadly this was probably the most bland hollandaise sauce I've ever had. I asked if the hash browns were home made and was told yes, but I had my doubts. Service was fine. Price in line with other restaurants. I'll try again for a different meal but I left half the plate uneaten with no interest to bring it home for my spouse or leftovers.

Glad I found this place so convenient close to where I live. Their rosemary potatoes are AMAZING! Love their aesthetic and the great vibe the staff has. This place is great for hanging out after work with their bar area and games in the next room thru the main dining area. Check it out and support the small businesses in white center.

Tried to call an order in since the item was not on the online menu but in their websites menu. Someone picked up but put me on hold for 5mins. Decided to call back and the phone was off the hook for 30mins after my initial call. The person who answered my call never returned to the phone to hang up. Service-0Will update when I get sone food another day.

A friend and I went to the Alpine Diner & Bar on a weekday for an early lunch. The diner is decorated to look like a ski chalet and is clean.I ordered the Rueben sandwich with fries. The only thing is I wished they didn't heat up the corned beef so much. Other than that it was delicious. My friend ordered the french dip and salad. She said her french dip was good but didn't enjoy the salad. She said the lettuce was a little on the wilted side. Our server was Sunche (I think that was his name). He said his name is a combination of his dad and mom's names. He was very attentive. He was always coming over to check on us and refilling our drinks. There is street parking but it's back in parking only.I would definitely come here again.

I've only had the Fried Chicken Dinner at Alpine and that was enough to earn five stars. It's a crispy fry with the perfect amount of batter. It's well seasoned, not spicy, but one of the better fried chickens in the Seattle area. The mashed potatoes are from real potatoes, so that's a nice touch and the veggies seem to be fresh. You also can't beat the value of $16.99 given prices for Seattle. There's a front diner, bar half way through and a lounge in the back with some skeeball.
