The Albert

I went here with other volunteers to have food and a drink after working. It is a pretty small and quaint restaurant which was packed for trivia night. But I was glad there was an outside area with a tv where we could still enjoy. I had a delicious guava drink and the pretzel appetizers were incredible. This restaurant is right in Inman Park so there is plenty of street parking and a parking garage nearby. This is a nice local spot to enjoy.

Perfect neighborhood bar with a vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff! I sat at the bar and I was instantly greeted! I love that the restaurant has 2 unique feels. The bar area gives home town gastropub and the connecting room has more of an elevated comfy feel. I ordered the fried fish sandwich (fried cod, house-made tartar sauce, lettuce & tomato) with tater tots. The cod was seasoned to perfection and it was so flaky!! Plus the tater tots were a win!! I plan on visiting again to enjoy more of the food and beverages!

Classic cheeseburger in a neighborhood spot. Ambiance was local bar. All ages were there. I stopped here before heading to the Horizon Theater for a show. I'll be back.

Been wanting to try this burger for a while and i was impressed! The menu is pretty classic. A few burger options and other bar food. We got the diner burger and it was really good. It was very big so it was good to split with someone, especially since it came with a side!

Wanted the bean burger. After ordering and another 10 minutes they told us they were out. So got a grilled cheese. It was ok. Others with me got it with pimento cheese added and said it was great. So I would recommend that. Came with a small side. Slow service. It was lunch on a Sunday. Saw the waiter on a lot of tables. Not sure if he was spread too thin or why. Overall not the best experience but the others with me really enjoyed it.

Great experience! We walked to dinner from the Beltline . No reservation needed and not pretentious but still quality food and service.

the eggrolls were dry and not very good. so glad i had friends to share with, but they didn't like them either. my burger was good, and tater tots crisp and salted to perfection. the waiter was super friendly and attentive. some of the other staff not so friendly giving that leave vibe. he gets a four star by himself. will try this place again, maybe but definitely won't do the eggrolls.

We're still trying to find a favorite burger in town, so we stopped in to try them at the Albert. They were decent, it's nice to have some variety in the dressings, the patties were good but seemingly preformed and the overall flavor left something to be desired. Decent prices, the atmosphere was nice, and we didn't have trouble getting a table around 2:00pm on the Labor Day holiday, and our server was nice.

Day drinking at the Albert! We stopped in for a round of beer (for me) and wine (for my friends) and we shared a bowl of boiled (spicy!) peanuts. This is a fun joint and the other food coming out of the kitchen looked pretty darned amazing.Very friendly service and our waiter did not mind that we were just drinking this afternoon. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MILITARY AND/OR POLICE. I had a STUNNINGLY BAD experience with the bartender at THE ALBERT on Saturday, August 10, 2024. My brother, his girlfriend, and I went as a last-minute early dinner option. I was in a tan hat and military style t-shirt (not a uniform) from training (Army) that day. Right off the bat, it was VERY obvious that the bartender did not like me. I politely ordered a drink, and she looked at my ID for a full minute and said, "this feels like a sting operation." I'm 30. Would have been funny if she was joking. It was weird but whatever.Over an hour later, when I was back at the bar to order my 3rd drink (not close to drunk), I calmly mentioned that we hadn't gotten our food (we'd ordered over an hour before and they'd forgotten, it happens). The bartender got offended that I brought it up and said she wouldn't serve me and threatened me, "not to test her." She said I'd had too many. I was literally dumbfounded by how she was treating me. Had too many? I wasn't drunk at all and was completely calm. The people I was with and the strangers around me were stunned too, saying later, "I actually think she just doesn't like how you look." Someone also mentioned that she may have been under the influence/medicated herself because of how slowly she was taking at the register. What started as a great evening was definitely negatively impacted by this unprofessional and tired bartender. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
