My friend celebrated his birthday here last Sunday. There was a pretty large group of us and we took up the whole upper back area. It was my first time here. Parking anywhere in downtown Phx is a little confusing and sucks that they charge so much in some areas. I parked in the Fry's garage and walked over (pretty close). 3.5-4 hrs in that garage came out to $40!! There was some tables filled at the time when I arrived and then died down as the time went on. The party started at 10:30am for brunch but I didn't arrive til about noonish. 3 friends were dj'in so it livined up the place. My friend had purchased a package that came with bottles and food. I'm not sure how much it was. The bottles were all tequila so I didn't have any of that. I did try their expresso martinis and those were really good! Also had the breakfast sandwich which came with fries (forgot a photo). Surprisingly, delicious!! Service was great. Staff here were friendly. Everyone had a good time.

Don't waste your time! We walked in and there were only two other parties at the bar. There was no AC. They only had fans all over the dining area. The waitress told us they were closing their soda machines, whatever that means. As we were paying our bill the waitress mentioned an automatic gratuity was already added. It was only 4 people in our party so I asked and she said it was for an event night. Kind of ridiculous considering no one was there and service was not top tier with no one being there. Like I said don't waste your time.

The food was surprisingly goodBurgers and fries (bar food)Nice staff. Sports/club vibe , Super loud music /DJEven outside , where we tried to escape from it. Too loud for lunch.Appropriate for nights.I would not go back. We stayed because of time restraints at civic center event

The worst service ever, took 18 minutes to get someone's attention and didn't even come with a glass of water. Everything we asked for on the menu they didn't have. The waitress was clueless. Unbelievable how a business that's across Chase field isn't ready for a Dodger series and the crowd that comes with that.

It was a fine experience. We went before a concert and it was extremely busy since there was also a basketball game on the same night. We made a reservation and they were able to get us in right away. They don't have prices on the menu - we ordered 2 drinks, 1 entree burger, 1 slider appetizer, and a side of fries and the tip was included but overall came out to $108. Very overpriced in my opinion- but the options are limited in that area so understandable. The sliders were ok. They come with mac&cheese on them - which weren't very cheesy or flavorful. The fries were good and crispy. Our server was pretty attentive given how crowded it was.

Well, I don't know if we were lucky or just made the restaurant's day, but there were 20 of us and we were able to make reservations here on short notice. Called Friday afternoon for a Friday evening reservation. What? The reservation was at 6:30p, and my family and I could've walked here from our hotel (as majority of our party did), but I was having some hip pain so we drove...of course we should've looked up the parking situation ahead of time as it was hard to find a metered spot or any info about a possible parking garage somewhere that was connected to the restaurant. We somehow managed to find a spot off the street that wasn't too far from the restaurant, but was 20 minutes late and the last family to arrive. After the fact - Apparently, The Ainsworth offers 2-hour validation at the neighboring Collier Center. Use entrance on Washington Street, park, then take the escalator up to street level. The restaurant is located at the corner of Jefferson Street and 2nd Street. Washington runs parallel to Jefferson.I ordered the Ainsworth burger ($18.00), hubs ordered the Diamondback burger (was charged $20.00...strange since it's $17.00 when I checked their online menu), and kiddo ordered the classic chzburger ($16.00). My Ainsworth burger was visually interesting as it came with a black focaccia bun. I ordered a medium well, but got a well done. It was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Our server was nice and was able to split the bill between each family. It was neat to see how he was able to do it on his mobile POS. The place was pretty empty from the get-go and still was when we left 2-3 hours later. I guess there were no big games going on that day.

I came back here during Christmas time and had a great experience again! They decorated the whole restaurant in Christmas lights, and they even made the chicken and waffles plate with a Christmas tree waffle. Our food and service were top notch! Love this place!

Mother and daughter night out. My daughter in law and I had a date night to go see Doja cat at Footprint center but decided to get drinks and food before and this place is literally across the street. The weather was nice so we asked to be seated outside and found a table. Which not much time we ordered drinks and the bar board which was just enough for 2 -3 people as an appetizer. The wings were cooked well; the fried Mac and cheese balls were delish as well as every thing else on the plate. Our sever was polite and efficient. You can't go wrong with putting this place on the map.

I love festive places, and The Ainsworth is all decked out for the holidays! Not crowded on the evening I went (it can be a good or a bad thing depending on the atmosphere you're seeking). I was greeted with a smile and service was fast. Had a beer and some truffle fries - nothing that would allow me to rate the food of the establishment as a whole, but the fries were good and they came with three different sauces. Lots of screens to watch games. Music wasn't too loud so I could have a conversation without screaming, and I always appreciate that. Located in a busy part of downtown next to the Footprint Center, which again can be good or bad depending on how you look at it - for example, parking was an absolute nightmare, as can be the case in downtown Phoenix. After going in circles for way too long, I gave up on parking directly nearby but found street parking (metered) a 10-minute walk away.I think I'd give it 4 stars if I had gone during a different time of year, but I love the festive atmosphere and all the Christmas lights. As this is what I got to experience when I went, 5 stars it is!

I really wanted this to be good. It was tasteless. I asked for more spicy mayo and it didn't help. Couldn't eat it. Wasted $20. Hubby had pastrami sandwich. I would give it 5/10. Hubby also had an old fashioned. Seemed very watered down?!? The music is ridiculously loud. Can't have any kind of conversation. Waitress asked if we wanted boxes and when I said no, she didn't say anything! Didn't even ask how everything was. Was so disappointed. There are so many good restaurants in the area and I chose this one!
