I have been coming here for a long time and it tends to be hit or miss. The problem with carry out is when you get home it is not great it's difficult to return or send back, this struggle has now happened twice. Tonight we ordered lasagna, rigatoni and focaccia it was mid at best. The rigatoni was extremely aldente almost chewy, the cause was minimal and tasted as if the recipe had changed. The lasagna was flat, a small portion for the price and kid in flavor. I love the service at Adriatic and that is something that brings me back. I also would say the strong smell of marijuana was definitely a turn off. There were children eating in the restaurant and If they left the same way I did they for sure would have smelled. Not a good look for a family establishment.

Writing a well deserved glowing review after our wonderful Mother's Day dinner at Adriatic! Everything tonight made our experience delightful- from the lovely and attentive staff, to the delicious mixed drinks, and last but not least, the out of this world incredible Italian dishes! The food is always amazing! There is a reason that we always choose this place to celebrate special occasions! 10/10! Highly recommend!

Came here for dinner with the whole fam (party of 6). Our server was so sweet, and really hustled to make sure we had everything we wanted/needed. The food was amazing, and pretty big portions. The bruschetta with feta is now my new fav!!! For dessert, they have a lot of good options. I'm not big on sweets and wanted something to give me a little energy so I had an espresso martini and ohhhhhhhhhhhh my god was it one of the best ones. I could drink those all day every day!Excited to come back, and tell others about this place. Definitely worth it!

The waitress was nice but extremely chatty. She cut me off in mid sentence several times when I just wanted water. She really wanted to sell me on a pre-maid mocktail. I got the risotto and lobster, the risotto was over cooked, it was a sticky lump with chewy not fresh lobster. I took 3 bites and couldn't keep going. The waitress stopped by our table, leaned over me; clearly not understanding personal space. She commented, no joke "That does not look like the risotto that I served yesterday." That's when I told her it was over cooked and the lobster is clearly not fresh. A different waiter offered to have it remade, but I didn't really want to try again. I was charged for the uneaten meal. My friend had a pasta dish and although it was fine, there is no way it was worth the price tag. Basic at home cooking would have been better. The risotto was horrid. We will not be going back,ever.

My husband and I came here for dinner as he remembered the food from 13 years ago at the old location. It was my first time in Washington and my first time here at the Adriatic. We got a full meal; appetizers, dinner, and dessert. We enjoyed everything but a special mention to the bruschetta and feta appetizer, mushroom soup, and the rigatoni bolognese. The ambience was beautiful and service was great! We had Nicki (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) as our waitress and she was so sweet. Very endearing personality and extremely accommodating! She even recommended a place to go after dinner to watch the sunset over the sound, which we did! Thank you to the whole team for a great experience

I've taken my beautiful Noel there the last two Valentine's days. Pricey, yes. But surprisingly friendly for such an incredibly classy environment. People dress up but dressing somewhat casual would fit as well. I don't know how to begin about the menu. If I said the dishes belong in Bon Appetit Magazine I do not think it would be hyperbole.The talented pianist took our picture last year and this year. I had the lobster this year, with more lobster cooked in with the I think it was couscous. The bar dominates the room to one side, no walls. Enjoy.
