I personally had a great time at the new adobe restaurant! Husband and I came to check out the remodel. The view of the course is absolutely beautiful!! They totally redid the golf course! The food was great, especially the bacon! Nick was our waiter and he was super quick and efficient. He had my margarita out super quick and picked out an awesome flavored beer for my husband. The best part was definitely the service! Thanks for making our first experience back a great one Nick!

Sometimes change isn't all it's cracked up to be.I gave the new Adobe a few months to find its groove before putting pen to paper, hoping they'd course-correct and steer this ship back to the glory days, but it seems like this joint is bent on running itself into the ground.I used to be a regular at the old Adobe. A loyal patron who visited with friends and family over breakfast or lunch weekly and eagerly awaited its return after its hiatus during the renovation. Speaking of the renovation:The atmosphere? Stunning. The views? Breathtaking. The ice cream shop? Great addition.Updates to the golf shop? Much needed. But that's where the compliments end.Look, I know every business has its growing pains, but the new Adobe has managed to tear down everything that made it a local treasure. The menu was perfect as it was, but someone decided to mess with perfection and ended up ruining every dish I've tried since the reopening. The old Reuben, breakfast burrito, club sandwich, and double eagle breakfast were some of the best in town. Now? I hate to say it, but I've probably had better food at Denny's or IHOP, with better consistency, and that's saying something. I cannot forget the avocado toast, oh boy. For twenty dollars, it looks like it was slapped together by a toddler and tasted as expected. And don't even get me started on the sides. Remember those crispy steak fries and those addictive little McDonald-esque hash browns? Yeah, forget about them. They've been replaced by some sad excuse for mashed potato wedges that nobody has ever asked for.All in all, it's sad to see what's happened to the Adobe. The wait to get your food is longer than a Tolstoy novel, the service is about as attentive as a narcoleptic sloth, and they're charging more for less and for worse quality.I get it, renovations cost money, but destroying everything that made Adobe great isn't the way to pay off the remodel. It's a shame to see one of Phoenix's jewels lose its luster. I hope the management and ownership wake up and smell the coffee before it's too late.

Casual spot. We came here wanting to sit outside, unfortunately there is contraction at the moment so we sat inside due to the loud noises and gates set up around the parameters. The valet is awesome as the parking is limited. Everyone is so friendly and inviting. Our food came within 20 minutes. Definitely a good spot if your out golfing on the course otherwise not sure if this is the best option to just stop in. I enjoyed a mimosa and the sliders which were tasty.

Nice view and good spot if you're already here golfing. Otherwise, not really worth going out of your way. Service was decent. Not out of this world but whatever. (Was told to grab any seat we wanted - oh but not that one because it was reserved. Service kept disappearing - don't think we got water refills or drink refills because it'd take too long.) Food was decent - again not out of this world. (I got the Salmon Caesar salad. It was ... okay. The menu is a bit limited and expect exactly what you'd see at any American restaurant. But cooked okay.) See where the theme is going here? It's decent - not out of this world.

I've been coming here for 20+ years. Probably 6x a year for breakfast/brunch and 10+ a year for golf. The service was horrible today. From the mananger seating people at the next empty table as opposed to spreading out to completely zero structure with wait and service staff. You can't ask for everything twice from different people to get a simple request filled. You certainly should not have to walk up to counter after 10+ minutes for ketchup and mustard for a burger. Get it together people, there are a ton more restaurant than there were 20 years ago! A new building would be great, but you can't wait to get your service levels up!

Great views. Awesome dog friendly patio and cold beverages equal killer spot. I think this is one of the best hidden gems in town and I've been going since high school. The patio is large with a great golf course and mountain views. The food is good the drinks are cold and the staff is friendly.

We've been coming here since they opened and really enjoy the dinner and breakfast options. Lately however, the consistency hasn't been there. Today we ordered over medium eggs and extra crispy bacon, the eggs came out barely over easy and the bacon wasn't crispy at all. It's like the cook doesn't care - you get what you get. Also they had the best sourdough toast and since have replaced it with white bread - I can go anywhere for that. Hoping they get back to where things were when they opened because this spot has potential to be a shining star in the area.

The service is horrible. The coffee cups are small and you have to keep asking for a refill whenever you can flag someone down. The food was bad too. It's a shame with these beautiful surroundings they can't have decent food or service.

Was very excited to try this new version of the Adobe as we loved breakfast, lunch and happy hour at the original Adobe. Beautiful building, nice view, cool looking bar. Sadly the food was terrible. 3 ladies out of four did not enjoy their salads at a recent lunch. Today I had the Eggs Benedict I used to really like. The entire breakfast had NO taste. Pancakes were blah. Coffee cups were very small. We had to wait for long periods for someone to come by, whisk away the cup and bring it back refilled. The service was very poor. Appeared to be no coordination among servers. Took forever just to get our mimosas. Prices are higher, food and service much worse. Fingers crossed for improvement in both areas or we will not be back.
