The 522

What a pleasant find!! We discovered this place when looking to see what was "new" for us in the area. It is tucked away on the other side of the tracks and not something you stumble upon.The food was excellent, well prepared and nicely proportioned. The establishment was clean, neat, pleasant and inviting. We noted during our meal that several other diners would approach the cook (& I presume owner) after their meals and offer their appreciation of their meal. When we were done with our meal, I did the same. A really nice find and somewhere I expect we will return to often!

Ate here for the 3rd time last week, and still awesome. Dishes are prepared with care and portions are extremely generous. Service is super friendly and spot on. Continue to highly recommend!

Went in thinking it was going to be a brew pub as advertised on google but not at all. Way more upscale than a brew pub vibe and felt under dressed. I got the meat sauce pasta and it was swimming in grease, really unpleasant. Then my drink, which was a grapefruit cider, was so artificially sweet I almost gagged. The servers and staff were really nice and friendly.I was very disappointed because this was my first time here, I don't think I'll be coming back unfortunately!

It's hidden in the back of a business complex - not easy to find. They seem to be in the midst of an identity adjustment. After four years as Highway 522 Taproom, "The 522" is evolving - from a tavern with great food to a great restaurant with a good bar. The atmosphere is casual, and the prices may seem high, but the quality of the meats and seafood are very high and the quantities are huge. Each entree easily feeds two. They still have their large lineup of tap beers. I tried Loowit Light Lager. It was crisp and refreshing with a fruity aroma and taste. Very enjoyable. We split a Surf and Turf. It was a huge, thick cut of ribeye with six gigantic prawns. Enough for another meal remained to be taken home. The table next to us ordered Seafood Salad. It was luxurious and decadent- enough for four. They enjoyed the hell out of it and still had half left. We must try them for lunch. I hear good things about the Prime Rib Sandwich.

Food is phenomenal here! The chef clearly knows what he's doing and he comes out to check on his patrons. My husband couldn't get over how good the Dijon chicken was. Nice place for a date. Would come back for sure.

Ambience (3/5) - Casual American Taproom. Plenty of parking!! Food (3/5) - The 522 Burger with Salad. The burger was decent, not that great not that bad. Overall average. Service (4/5) - the staff was very friendly and considerate.

Went here for lunch one day and the food was great! They had a good selection of beers on tap although I didn't partake. Had their pasta for lunch and it was pretty tasty! Would definitely order again and the portions were large! Went with a baby and the staff was friendly and provided a high chair for my kid. In general, service was good. The place was a mix of bar and restaurant but could definitely go for a nicer casual or casual date. Parking was a bit difficult as it was in a complex but there was plenty of spots just a few door down or on the street.

To say this place is great would be an understatement. The family-run restaurant has been the home to our company Christmas Party that last two years and boy do they go above and beyond for our team. They prepare a huge Italian family style spread for us with multiple apps, salads, sides and entrees to choose from (because it's impossible to have just one), along with a beautiful dessert and full bar of course! We have such an amazing time and truly feel as if we are a part of their family. The company employees enjoy it so much, many go back for their lunch breaks and again, treated like family. Mardini the incredible chef will come out to the floor to check on his guests and leave you with a huge smile on your face and a very fully satisfied belly. Not much to not like when you visit 522 and cannot recommend it more, whether you go in with a group or by yourself, you will not be disappointed!

This place is great! I've been here for lunch and dinner. Both menus are fabulous and you can't beat the service! The fact that they are family friendly is also a huge plus.

This place is a hidden gem!! Great food and great service. Great portions for the price.
