THAT Burger Spot

Popped in on Labor Day hoping they'd be open around 9:30pm and to my amazement, it was!! Food was fresh, hot and service was fast! Ordered at the kiosk. Tried the 50/50 turkey burger with crinkle fries. Will be back to try more

If you read my reviews, you know I shoot straight. I say what needs to be said and leave it you, "The Consumer" to decide if my words have any merit. Today I decided to try a spot I had tried before. The first time I went I ordered a Phillycheese Steak and a burger with fries, I forget which style the burger was but they both were delicious. I was full for three days after eating my order. Today I went in, there wasn't a ton of people waiting (this spot operates more on a call in and pick type of situation though they do have a small eating area. I placed my order and waited approx 35 minutes for my order. I got the call, grabbed the food and was out. Now I live a good distance away from the spot but made it home. And unpacked my order. I started with the Cajun fries which were amazing and after I unwrapped my burger I noticed something. The bun was quite dark and I even thought it was one of the burger patties. I bit into it and my jaw dropped. Not only was the bottom bun Toast, it was TOAST. Literally burned to black. The burger patties AND the top bun was also burnt. To add insult to death, there was no extra mayo or secret sauce on my burger. I drove back to the spot and asked for the cook. His name was Tex and he agreed as well as gave me his excuse for the burger being burnt and in my mind I'm thinking..."YOU cooked it, wrapped it and put it in a bag..." YOU KNEW IT WAS WRONG. I didn't flip out on the guy, it's Labor Day and they were busy, STILL...No Excuse for COOKING it to burnt, WRAPPING it as if it's okay, and sending it out...I'm not gonna make this a nasty review but we get to do better people. When he returned with the replacement order he says.." You want to check it?" Why would I want to check a RE-Order. You burnt the first one, I trust YOUR eyes to decide whether it was better than the last one. If it's wrong again I simply won't come back. EASY If it's burnt, SAY THAT and do it over. Don't pack that shit up and send it home with ANYBODY. That's bad service and other restaurants have suffered closure behind these types of incidents. If he would have said it was burned I would have had no issue waiting. DO BETTER People...DO, Better...

My little man likes a good burger...particularly when he can get bacon and an egg on it. THAT Burger Spot does it well from a quaint spot off Moreland. You can get your burger pretty much anyway you desire. And the best thing about THAT Burger Spot is the scrumptious non-meat options...there is a salmon patty option that is DAYUM good‼It is best to order ahead because they cook to order but attention to detail results in a great burger experience.

It's good, for real great burger! I am a bit concerned about cleanliness and cross contamination. You have to order from a machine which is a personal bias I dislike. You get your meal in 10-15 as it's all made to order, but again could be better with hospitality and a clean environment.

Good food good customer service good ingredients. Good fries good luck good price, fresh food. I can't wait to come back to get a different burger just to try and see how good it is. I love a great burger and I'm so happy to now know about THAT Burger Spot because they're the first place I think to visit when I'm craving one! Note that this restaurant is located in a very small plaza with limited parking at times. It's totally worth navigating through the lot to park and get your burger.The concept of the restaurant is great, in my opinion. Instead of placing an order with a person at the counter, I always immediately walk over to their huge self-ordering kiosks. You can't miss them! I love these because I'm able to take my time browsing through the menu options while seeing some huge pictures of each ingredient. We love picture menus! I think they're super easy to use, don't require you to be tech-savvy, and allow you to really see what you're ordering. Love it. The restaurant itself is designed to be pickup only, with 2 seats for those waiting for their orders but there are also a few seating options outside the door. The walls are adorned with murals of Atlanta legends and beautiful burgers. The wait can be up to 20 minutes or so sometimes, but at least you know that your food is being made fresh! You can look right into the kitchen and see the cooks making the magic happen. This isn't fast food, it's fresh food!The menu offers a number of house favorites if you're looking for one of their specialty burgers vs. going the freestyle route. But if you like to be in control of your burger toppings like me, the freestyle route is the way to go. Customers can choose from a number of different protein options like a black bean burger, fish, beef and a few other faves to start off their burger. Then you decide what kind of bun (or lack of bun), 1 type of cheese from their selection, and then you get to choose your toppings which is my favorite part because they allow you to pick up to like 15 toppings between the grilled and raw veggies at no extra cost. And that includes bacon and a fried egg - Love that! You can then choose any spreads and sauces that you'd like, the 24K is my favorite! My usual burger consists of: Lil Baby single burger, burger bun, pepperjack, bacon, grilled jalapenos and onions, sometimes an egg. I usually love veggies but I don't want them to interrupt my meaty experience. Each and every time, that burger hits! The buttery bun is always a favorite as well. The burgers themselves start at about $10 which is pricey but the portions are quality of the burgers really make it worthwhile. The $3.99 flavored fries don't come with the burger and I think that for that price they could toss a few more of those suckers in the bag lol. They are delicious though! I'm always wondering if they're from frozen or not, but I am a loyal french fry lover so I like them no matter what lol. The seasonings are a great way to kick them up a notch along with a side of their great sauces. Because I usually use the self-ordering kiosk I don't interact with the team until it's time to pick up my order. Every time I go to pick up my order, the team is super friendly! The experience from ordering, until the final bites of the burger, continue to bring me back to THAT Burger Spot again and again. They definitely have a foodie fan in me!

I LOVE that burger spot . These are the best burgers in Atlanta and they have really good fries and slushies. When I am craving a good burger I definitely come here. I give them 4/5 because the wait is super long and you cannot call in your order. I came in and placed my order and waited about 45 minutes. In the future I will order on DoorDash for pickup

I didn't want to do this but dang! The burger tasted fine. I got that v class which is their vegan option made with impossible meat. The fries came under cooked and the didn't include my sweet potato pie which was very disappointing. I was hoping for something sweet so bad. This was an Uber eats order so may not be all the fair to them.

Service quick and GREAT!!Music is littttttMusic will definetly get you in a good mood to eat a burger

Food was , service was quick and polite, even the outside of the building was clean. Will be back for sure!
