Thai Village is a one of my must visit places whenever I'm in San Diego. It's always been a favorite amongst my family and friends. We usually order the following:1) Pad Thai with roasted pork: one of the best pad thais I ever had, well cooked and full of flavor. A must have!2) Crab fried rice: the egg is so nicely scrambled with lots of crab mixed in. So flavourful and great texture. If you love fried rice, this one is great!3) Avocado Curry: a version of green curry that is extra creamy with a little kick. Highly recommend.4) Kra Prow with duck: delicious pieces of duck with wide flat noodles5) Thai iced tea: strong tea flavor and sweet (in a good way especially when paired with spicy food)We ordered it all 5/10 spicy. Ask for spicy fish sauce on the side. The service has always been great for me. Our server was wonderful at keeping our water glasses full, especially when we're eating spicy hot food. If you're craving Thai food this place is legit!

DO NOT EAT HERE.Thai Village has gone under new management and the food quality has gone to shit. I've been ordering from here for the 10 years I've lived in PB and the most recent order was abolute garbage. I ordered peanut sauce chicken noodle and the protein was inedible. Sad to see a place fall from such grace. 1/10 will not order again.

Stepped into this place for dinner after we heard people on the street proclaim how delicious their meal was! The restaurant was quiet, and we were able to choose our own seat and be greeted right away with waters. The waiter was very helpful in walking us through the menu and letting us know what was popular. Based on her recommendation we ordered the half chicken and the green curry, which came to us after only about 10 minutes of waiting. The green curry was delicious, I ordered it at a spicy level 4 out of 10, which in my experience at Thai restaurants does have a strong level of heat for my taste buds, but here I found it a little too mild for my liking. The half chicken also had great flavor, but was more sweet than spicy. The half chicken was also very bony. Overall, we did enjoy our experience and will likely be returning, however, we will skip out on the half chicken and order our dishes more spicy.

I wish I could have tried more things from Thai Village. I had the seafood salad, and it was good, but I've had better! The potential was there, but the chili lime dressing was not as chili -limey-fish saucey as it could have been. I ordered a level 3 spice because their website warns that they make their food very authentically spicy and it was not the least bit spicy. I could have done a 5 or 6. The seafood and veggies in the salad were very fresh though, so that redeemed it. Overall, it was good and I wish I had more time to try their curries and noodles.

If you go anywhere for food in the pacific beach/mission beach area, it should be this place! Absolutely delicious, easily the best Thai food I have ever had! We got the pad Thai with shrimp and yellow curry with fried tofu. So so so amazing!! The curry was flavorful and creamy and the pad Thai had an incredible peanuty, spicy flavor. Both dishes were perfectly made. I even called back to give my compliments to the kitchen, it was THAT good!It was reasonably priced (about $34 for two dishes) and the service was very quick (called in takeout and it was ready within 10 minutes on a Sunday night, but would have definitely been worth a longer wait). Very friendly service staff as well and so nice! Offered us utensils and napkins and were very gracious. We didn't dine in, but the restaurant was very clean and had a relaxed vibe to it. So glad to have stumbled upon this gem and worth every penny!

We can usually get a spot to sit without having to wait which is always nice! The food is consistent and they give you great portions. They have plenty of booths and comfortable seating options for groups of all sizes.

Thai village is the best Thai nearby pacific beach boardwalk. Great pad see ew, pad Thai, wontons, spring rolls and yellow curry. All of their curry is delicious when poured over rice, good for leftovers, I eat half and then there's always so much food leftover I can eat it all throughout the night for midnight snackings. I like to eat in the restaurant sometimes but I usually get fried rice and take it home and eat it. Don't forget Thai iced tea, so lovely and divine. Plus this restaurant has been here for 20+years. They're good!

Avoid this place until they clean up their act! Your dumpster is spewing trash all over the alley. Please clean it up. Your business has a responsibility, being liked next to the beach especially to contain its refuse in a responsible manor.
