Awesome food !Great service! Clean restaurant! I live in the suburbs now but I kept coming back to this quaint restaurant. The place might not that be too fancy yet the service and the food are really awesome. Quiet place!

The worst Thai food in the northside of Chicago. Noodles and Co. makes a better Pad Thai than this place. We ordered pad thai, spring rollls and crab rangoon. The rangoons had big chunks of cream cheese and no crab or onions. The one star is for the spring rolls which were decent. There are far better Thai restaurants in that area.

Had the lunch special which comes with an appetizer, soup, and entrée. Could not tell what was in the soup of the day, and the odor was very offputting so we did not really eat it. Pad Thai was extremely bland with a few pieces of tofu thrown into some noodles. Very little seasoning, no garnish or anything like that.

Amazing! Best Thai food in the city. Always consistent and service is unfailingly exceptional. Definitely order shrimp rolls and fried rice!!

Hands down, best Thai food in the Chicago land area. I used to come here as a child with my parents and this is our "family" restaurant. When we have a special milestone, we will come here. The food has consistently been delicious for the past 30 years. We will drive 50 minutes from the suburbs where we live now to come here and eat. The service is always spot on. There's one server in the restaurant but it's never taken away from the service. He's personable and always remembers us. A familiar face makes for a comfortable experience. The ambiance is absolutely serene. It had a good vibe. This restaurant could definitely use an update as it's been the same forever, but it's still incredibly comfortable. Love this restaurant.

I've been going here for dinners for 20 years. Same owner, who also supplies the recipes and trains the cook. Same waiter! I love the food. I particularly love the Tom Kai Gai. They make it just right here - savory with a nice amount of lime juice and slight saltiness. Yes, a little touch of sweetness but not so terribly sweet as many Thai restaurants make it. It's a savory soup, not a dessert! I can't stand the over-sweet way most places make it, but Thai Valley makes it JUST RIGHT. I usually order it medium spicy, which brings a little heat. Sometimes I order it HOT and then it fogs my glasses and singes my hair - but sometimes that's the way I want it! Their curries are very flavorful, and they have the best pad woon sen I've ever had. GO THEIR! Note it is small and not much staff, so you may have to wait a little to be served- but it will be worth it.

Best eleven dollar lunch special in . . . Forever! With leftovers for supper. May I suggest the #5 tomato beef with the satay?

The best Thai food! Fresh, very flavourful, super yummy!!! Tum Yum Koong is highly recommended.

As unassuming as this place may seem, this place has some of the best basil beef I've had in the city. Portion sizes were great for the price and service was friendly. would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Excellent Thai food in my new work area. Love the lunch specialsIt's one of my favorite routine restaurants to go for lunch. Looking forward to trying every dish on the menu.
