What a pleasure to find this gem. Very friendly staff, I believe the owners, comfortable atmosphere inside a house. Large menu selection of authentic thai. I highly recommend the duck curry..Delicious! If in the area this is a must visit.

My Go To for Thai in Stanwood! Since nee owners took over a few yeRs ago, Thai Thai has not done me wrong yet. Some of my usuals are Thai ice tea, Swimming Rama, Tom Kha soup w/a side of rice noodles (who doesn't love noodles in soup), any fried rice --add an extra egg please, and red curry. Don't forget dessert, I love me some black rice pudding & if I am feeling a little naughty, bring on the fried ice cream. My advice to definitely give them a try, I'm sure whatever you choose will taste Yum-mie!!

We've been here a few times now. Over all the food has been good, not our favorite Thai food in town but great ambiance and some very tasty dishes. The prices don't really match the quantity of the food when compared to some other choices around, but it's a great space to enjoy a little food and drink. The staff is very friendly and takes care to provide the best service to guests.

In short:A friendly, welcoming Thai place in a converted old house. Incredible traditional dishes and a fun staff. In long:Just off the main drag on the way out to the island. Biggish parking on one of those pointed-corner lots. Old house, from probably pre-WW2, now with signage and whatnot to let you know it's no longer residential...but still painted in homey, quaint colors. Walk around front after parking, and you've already gone by a dozen bushes sprouting huge peony blossoms. There are a couple dozen more scattered around the patio, which is fenced in with low iron fencing and looks lovely. On busy summer days this must be a fun place to come dine al fresco. Inside, there are a couple small dining rooms over there, kitchen in the back, long hallway down to the washrooms. Kind of what you'd expect from a building designed to be a home--I love these converted spots. Everything's clean, and there's pretty art on the walls. Mostly affordable paintings of decorative scenes. There's plenty of natural light from the windows, and the whole place has a lovely informal feel. The menu covers about 12 pages, maybe about 70 dishes. Lots of soups, salads, curries, plenty of noodle dishes. We noticed a few things that the more Americanized Thai places rarely offer--stir-fried pork belly, duck curry, fried whole snapper.Marinated beef appetizerThis dish has a Thai name that changes based on whether you order chicken or beef. One of my favorite things about this place was when we tried to order this, our first dish, our server confirmed it by checking the Thai name against what we said. One subtle signal that they're closer to the history of the food than they are to turning it into fusion. We got several curly pieces of beef fried 'til almost a bit crispy on the edge. The ground nuts, herbs, and other toppings added a ton of flavor, as did the dipping sauce/gel. But nothing compared to the condiments.Condiment caddyNot usually worth reviewing at any restaurant, but here it is. Pickled jalapenos, peppers in fish sauce, and fried pepper flakes. All loaded with flavor. Our server laughed about how none of the cooks like sautéing the pepper flakes since the fumes make it tough to breathe. We wondered aloud whether we could pull it off at home, and she laughed some more and said "if you don't feel like cooking these yourself, just keep coming back here!" Man, they light up the food, too. Partial spoonfuls would bring the fire every time. Red curry chickenI'm the boring one who got something traditional. It sure was amazing, though. All the flavors you expect, clear as bells, in a sauce that's halfway between broth and chowder. I kept portioning off small plates to experiment with different condiment combinations of heat and tart, and they all worked. Then I used the serving spoon from the rice to finish the curry sauce, because I am just that much of a pig. Whole fried snapperCovered with cashews, lemongrass, ginger, and herbs, as you might expect, along with finely-chopped green apple and lime, which you might not. Bursts of acid and sweetness in occasional bites make this even more interesting than it already is. Prices here are very reasonable, and the service could not be more funny, friendly, warm, and charming. They're flying out of the kitchen with tea, appetizers, and your order so quickly, 'cause they're modern enough to track orders and bills via iPad. About that tea--it's fresh brewed, batch by batch, in heavy little pots. No bottomless silver pots here.

Hubs wanted Asian food. At the tail end of a wonderful road trip to the North Cascades, and after three hours of fishing off our kayak, we were famished. Not knowing the area at ALL, trusty Yelp came to our aid. Thai Thai had five stars. We hightailed it over. Those 5-star reviews are right! Here's another one! Adorable converted house with a lovely garden and outdoor area. So cute! Inviting! The server and hostess, who is the daughter of the owners (her mom is the chef), was the most charming young person I have ever encountered at a family business. Bubbly, warm and open, a UW student who unabashedly loves being with her parents. I am sorry I did not get her name but what a sweetheart, adorable. I told her mom on the way out what a gem she is! And how fantastic the food is!Drinks and food came out almost instantly! Potstickers were nice and crunchy with a tender filling and slightly tangy dipping sauce. My pad thai was filling with lots of chicken and delicious peanut-y sauce. Hubby is somewhat of a curry expert. That curry was so complex, it turned me into an instant curry fan. Apparently takes a day to meld the flavors of this chicken thigh curry. Huge chunks of potatoes and several nearly whole thighs poked out from the bowl. We have had a lot of Thai food in our day, This was quite possibly the best.

Easy 5/5 stars!!! The waitress/owner is so friendly and convinced me to sit and eat instead of ordering to go (I was hungry for lunch, but thought it might be weird eating by myself. It totally isn't! There were a couple other people too eating by themselves and there's a nice big tv to watch!)Got the Thai iced tea (which was AMAZING) and the chicken pad Thai. Prices are not bad, considering if I was in Seattle this would've been a $30 meal. I will come again :)

I can't begin to express how glad I am this family opened up their second location in Stanwood! We were previously driving all the way to Mount Vernon anytime we wanted good Thai (yes, I'm aware there are other Thai options nearby but they are no where near this caliber). Everything here is fantastic and made with care and love. Have been here a few times now and our classics never disappoint - the pad see ew, pad Thai, and red and green curries are all spot on in terms of flavours, freshness and portion size. One thing to note is this is one of the only Thai places I've been to where they don't add any spice to their dishes; instead you can request your choice of spices on the side and they've got a range of 4 different housemate spices you can choose from. I always go with the dried chillies and they are perfect for our usual liking, I just recommend you season on the side of caution as they pack a good punch! Icing on top is this family is incredibly kind and you can tell they pour their heart and souls into their food. I will continue to come back as a regular and whole heartedly recommend you give it a try if you're reading this!

Excellent service, cute setting in old Victorian home, surrounded by gardens of roses and lillies. Tom Yum soup had a little kick of spice to it, which according to the owner, if it's not spicy it's not Tom Yum soup! Thai iced tea was perfection, Thai iced Coffee was strong and delicious. Attentive service, personable owner, friendly all the way around. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive for us, we've officially made this our Thai food spot up north!
