My favorite Thai/Lao restaurant!! The best in Illinois.I come from a Lao background so I grew up with this type of food. Everything is SOOO good! I wish I can order everything off the menu. I can't say one bad thing about this place. The staff are so kind. Service is fast. I been here about a thousand times, and will continue to come back!

Thai Siri in Streamwood is a great find, especially if you're looking for vegan-friendly Thai food. We recently dined in and tried their lunch specials, which included red curry with tofu, basil fried rice with vegetables, and pad see ew with vegetables. The flavors were spot on, but next time we'll go for the regular menu and skip the tom yum soup (a bit indifferent) and the spring roll.One thing to note: lunch portions are on the smaller side, so plan accordingly. But the best part? Thai Siri can make most of their dishes vegan upon request, making it a fantastic option for plant-based eaters.We've also done carryout from here before, and it's just as delicious at home--perfect for a cozy night in or a quick meal out. Thai Siri is a solid choice for those who appreciate good, flavorful Thai food with vegan options.

My husband and I had a taste for Thai food. This restaurant is so close to our house we could walk here if we wanted to.But that is not why we come here, we come here because they have the best Thai food around! We pulled in the parking lot and the lot was full. When we walked in every table was full and three people were waiting to pickup their orders. The lights are dim and there is paper on the tables. There is music lightly playing in the background. It is the perfect place to take a date or celebrate a birthday or Anniversary. The ladies working here are very friendly and you can tell they love their jobs. As soon as someone is finished and leave the restaurant they clean off the table and are ready ASAP sitting waiting customers. They don't rush anyone out but are very attentive to when someone does leave. Which I love. Our 20 minute wait was only 5 minutes... YippeeI ordered the lime chicken because I really love lime and it sounds yummy. It was so delicious and a huge portion size. I think I found my new favorite menu item! I still need to try the new noodle soup. It looks amazing as well! My husband ordered the Crabmeat fried rice with green onions instead of white onions. That is his favorite and orders it pretty much everytime we eat here. If you have not dined here and are looking for something new and fun, give this place a try... you won't be disappointed... and make sure you save room and try the mango with sticky rice... So yummy!

I came here from a recommendation of a friend and was blown away with the food this place is cookin' up. We got Tom kah soup and basil leaf with beef extra spicy. Both were absolutely splendid and the perfect level of spice. The presentation was great and the prices were reasonable. Service was a little slow but there are only a few servers and a lot of full tables.

door dashed this and have no choice but to leave 5 star review because it was so good. We got the pad Thai w/ chicken (spicy), pad see ew w/ beef (spicy), the red curry w/ chicken (spicy) and pot stickers. Everything was 5 stars ESPECIALLY the curry. The very spicy is indeed very spicy!!!! No complaints, pls never change. Customer for life!!!!

Without a doubt, the absolutely best Thai restaurant in the NW burbs, along with of course, it's 'sister' in Palatine. Originally opened in 1986'ish in Streamwood as Thai Thanee, it retained that title, under various management regimes, until the current owners opening, remodeling, etc. sometime during the pandemic.Thai Siri returns to it's (original ownership) roots, as an authentic Thai restaurant run by and employed with ... (wait for it) real Thai people.And I definitely DISAGREE with any previous posts by disgruntled folks who think they know Thai food, but are in fact, clueless.

The food here is FANTASTIC !! The delicious Thai flavors transport me to a culinary paradise! Found this place on Yelp and really enjoyed dining here. It's a nice size restaurant with friendly and quick service and cozy vibes. We ordered the house fried rice, Panang noodles, and roasted chili cashew with tofu. Everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! The portions were very generous for the price and all the ingredients tasted fresh and nicely seasoned. the folks here were also so sweet and patient, so I'll definitely be back!

The food was authentic and delicious. The prices very reasonable for the quality. I met the owner and daughter and couldn't be better, they were so friendly and diligent in every aspect of our visit. My second visit was a Saturday, very busy and only one server. I believe she felt the pressure and not the same as my first visit. But I will give another try.
