Recently ordered out from Thai Chili Basil and this is definitely one of the best Pad Thai dishes I have had since moving to Boston this summer! If the take out taste this good then I know if I visit in person it will be even better! I ordered vegetable pad thai and crab rangoon..it did not last long! I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Ordered takeout from Thai Chili Basil through DoorDash. Was I wowed? Not really.FOOD:Ordered the drunken noodle, pineapple fried rice, oriental seafood, beef satay, and the Siam wings. The drunken noodles weren't the best I've had, but they also weren't the worst. It was just a tad bit too salty for my taste. The pineapple fried rice, beef satay, and Siam wings were good/average. They did skimp out on the seafood though for the drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice. I think there were only like 2-3 pieces of shrimp, squid and scallops each within the drunken noodles and fried rice, but since I ordered the oriental seafood, it sorta compensated it? (Kinda not really).TAKEOUT SERVICE:Food was nice and hot, and they were able to get our food made on time!

I'm not sure why Thai Chili Basil has only averaged 3.5 stars.. we've gotten take out multiple times and it's always satisfying.Crying tiger for people who like spicy, the crispy chicken doesn't taste very traditional but it's so yummy! We've also tried their crab rangoons which were plentiful along with drunken noodles that comes with shrimp and chicken with no up cost like most places.. Can't wait to try other tings on the menu!Thai Chili Basil Family, you make wonderful food!!

Figured it was about time I updated my review (as it's been 6+ years!). This is a hole in the wall take-out thai place right by the train tracks on Franklin Street. The prices are reasonable, the food is made to order, portion sizes are good, and is always tasty. If you're looking for a quick meal, they won't disappoint.

At first I was hesitant to order take out because of the recent low reviews I had read regarding food and service. But, I decided to take a chance because I thought the price was really great compared to most places. So I ordered on crispy chicken pad Thai, chicken satay, and pork dumpling soup through GrubHub. I was given about an hour estimate for my delivery, but I had my food in my hands in just about a 30 minutes. It was EXACTLY what I was craving!! The crispy chicken pad Thai was delicious. Large chunks of peanuts and scallions, lots of chicken, and plenty of rich sauce. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the noodles. They were chopped, crispy egg noodles that were really nicely cooked. The chicken satay comes in four pieces and are large chunks of grilled chicken. It comes with I side of peanut sauce and a cucumber carrot dipping sauce. I also ordered a dumpling soup - in the description it says it's a sake-spy broth. The broth was amazing. All in all, with a good tip it ended up being less than $30 with more than half of it to spare, so I'll end up eating it for dinner too. If you're looking for a good Thai place I absolutely recommend this place. The food is fantastic and full of flavor and the service was great as well. To top it off, awesome prices. This may just be my new Thai place!

No dine in seating so it's delivery or carry out here. Small hole in the wall. Good food. Healthy portions. Had the drunken noodles. Comes a tad spicy but not overly spiced. Also sampled the country fried rice. The fried rice was a little plain but still satisfying. Overall not the best Thai food I have ever had but still worth a try. Overall a good experience. Seems to be family owned. Service was decent.

I'm the last member of my household to succumb to an unpleasant but ultimately unserious bout of illness. Fortunately, I've taken all the recommended steps, so it could be worse, but I'm not having a fun time. Since yesterday, all I could think about was tom ka talay. My father is no longer infectious, and he graciously agreed to procure me some. It was made fresh when he arrived. I'm sure it was partly because I have a fever, but I'm not joking when I say I teared up a little over how good it was. There's just nothing like soup when you're sick, and this soup was excellent. Fragrant, steamy, delicious, comforting, and exactly what I needed tonight. I feel a lot less awful now!

My go-to restaurant. I've ordered delivery more times than I can count. Delicious food. Never disappoints.

Thai Chili Basil makes the best Thai food in the area. The portions are good, and the prices are fair. I like that you can order delivery directly on their own website. They deliver fast. Most of the time, my orders have arrived 15-20 minutes earlier than predicted. Some favorite dishes: drunken noodle, chicken noodle soup, red curry. They will make a dish as spicy (or not spicy) as you like.
