Thai Bistro

We decided to go here for take out & it the food was okay. The parking was fine and the lady who took our order was really nice and recommend the chicken. The pad se-ew was okay, it was overly sweet for some reason. The basil fried rice was really good though. I gave this place 3 stars because it was mid but also SUPER pricey. Maybe next time I'd dine in and try it out again. Try it out for yourself though!

I had the Panang Lamb,The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Not too salty, fully cooked and grilled yet not burnt. The panang sauce was delicious! The combination of the two seemed a little odd, although I love both flavors, and this restaurant did them perfectly, it just tasted odd in my mind. The way each part was prepared indicated the high level of professionalism here, while all the vegetables in the sauce,( red and green peppers and artichoke,) were cooked to perfection: not hard nor too soft, just enough bite yet tender and juicy. I will look forward to repeat visits here, and had to give my opinion on my very special dish... don't turn it down, I was not at all disappointed.

The inside decor was really nice and the service was friendly. Although, one of the servers didn't know what the tea soda on the menu was which scared us off from ordering it. The Kao Soy was delicious along with the Pad Thai (huge portion). The chive pancake was a no go for me. Didn't like it at all. Also the first time trying a Thai tea with coconut milk - I was pleasantly surprised!

We came with a group of women friends. I really wanted to like this place, especially since I was really hungry and love Thai crab fried rice! I ordered chicken nuggets for my granddaughter...which was served with broccoli/carrots and rice. She seemed to enjoy it ok.I ordered crab fried rice with brown rice & shrimp added...and was so disappointed when it came!. The rice was kind of greasy mushy...with crab plopped on top...and the shrimp also just on top...the crab and the shrimp didn't look at all like it was cooked with the rice...so I was confused as to why it appeared that everything was cooked separately. It tasted exactly like that, didn't taste at all like fried rice. I have had lots of Thai crab fried rice and it never tasted like this. I tried to eat it and after a few bites I couldn't fake it anymore. It was horrible. And asked the waitress to just take it away...I didn't ask for her to remove it from the bill, I just asked her to take it. I paid for it, but know that I will never come here again. It's rather annoying when you share your thoughts with the wait staff and they want to tell you how it is cooked...instead of just accepting that I wasn't happy with my food. I did pay for it...and I will add that there was someone else in our party that ordered the mango fried rice and she had a similar experience...she said that her food didn't taste like it was cooked together...fried rice is supposed to be a combination of flavors.Anyhow, not a fan of this place.

The food here was awesome - two of my highlights were the Tom Yum soup and the pot stickers (DOUSE THEM IN THE SAUCE). For my 21+ people the lychee cocktail was SO GOOD; two of my friends and I got them and enjoyed them. We had a big party and were able to get a table easily on a Monday afternoon. The waitress was also super friendly and even offered to take our picture, as we were celebrating a friend's birthday! I saw some people dining alone so I'll bet this would be a great spot for a lunch break if you work in Federal Way, too!

Tonight I ordered chicken Pad Thai,Shrimp Penang curry but when I opened the container it was chicken.Tom Yum soup and green papaya salad.I asked that all be 2 star.The Tom Yum soup was so hot we could not even eat it and so was the papaya salad.The other two items were just OK.I think that the cost was a bit high for what we ordered .

Food is amazing here. Definitely recommend the pad Thai and any yellow curry. The staff is sweet as well

Last week we ordered over $120 of food & they forgot one of my rice. Today, they forgot 2 rice but thankfully I checked before leaving so I got 2 rice. I wanted to try something new so I ordered Rama noodles w/peanut sauce but this is what I got. Plain Rama noodles w/tofu, broccoli and little spices for $17! Who would eat this? So disappointed! I'll stick to our normal entrees. Always double check your order before leaving.

Fresh rolls were not fresh at all. The outer wrapping was dry and hard. They clearly were made early in the day or yesterday. It was hard to bite thru. I've loved fresh rolls for years and never had them so stale.One of our meals was poor, very fishy and way too hot, one was so-so and one was delicious but not spicy at all and was ordered hot. Service was terrible. They came dropped off a plate in the middle of the table without a word and left dirty appetizer plates. I used to love this place but I don't know if I'll go back.

Second visit and won't go back. First time we ordered 2 star Pad Thai and it was the spiciest thing we have ever had in our lives. This time just 1 star and it was like night and day. Service was very slow but maybe that makes the dishes fresher. Waitress is very unfriendly, and we never got a visit to the table until it was time to pay the check. We told the waitress our dish was not made how we asked her to do it and she said "I just serve the food I don't cook it" so expect servers with course attitude. Decor is clean and slightly upscale. Because service is always slow but the dishes are of decent quality I would go if you are looking to spend a lot of time with friends socializing. Prices on most things including alcohol are on the high end. We did get a visit to our table on our first visit by someone not our server and she had the ultra spicy Pad Thai remade for us.
