Humongous upgrades to the decor since the last time we were there. I sincerely hope it was not a change in ownership or that the prior owners got a great deal out of it - they were so sweet. The interior has been redone. Looks great. I think they always had the free tea out - that is still there. We've never gotten anything but the teriyaki here. I tried the yakisoba this time and loved the slightly sweet, gingery take. Probably my favorite yakisoba now. Will continue to be one of our favorite teriyaki spots. Thank you!

Came in late with my boyfriend 30 minutes before closing. Still had two parties ahead of us so we waited a bit.The staff was so friendly and patient, he asked us if a togo box is ok, brought the food to our table and even checked on us while we ate.I did not expect this kind of hospitality at this late at this type of joint. You could go to a full on restaurant and still not receive this kind of service.Dishes were a little salty for me but my boyfriend loved it. Can't ask for more from a teriyaki place.

Meal made fresh, tender and not oversauced. Katsu was very crispy, no complaints. A bit small dining area, but clean and neat. Counter service was prompt and polite.

Chicken katsu was delicious - very crispy and the meat was tender. I did half half sauce which one was a more sweet/sour sauce and the other was peanut sauce - highly recommend the peanut sauce. The salad was nice to balance out the fried entree. A super filling meal - great during the cold weather. The vegetarian yakisoba noodles were average in flavor but we appreciated the large portion size. The veggies were fresh in the dish. Was able to get a to go box for our remaining half.Space was clean and staff was friendly. For dine in customers there is complimentary miso soup and hot tea available!

I ate here three times within a two week period in Seattle, twice dining in the restaurant and ordering once with UberEats. The first time, we had just gotten off a flight into SeaTac and had to run errands around Southcenter when we came upon this hidden gem of a restaurant just in time for dinner. I was not happy to have to be in Seattle so I was looking for comfort food and this place hit the spot! The owners are so friendly and welcoming that it almost made me forget that I wasn't back in LA. They make you feel at home with the complimentary miso soup at dinner time and checking in with you to make sure you're enjoying the food. The teriyaki chicken was perfectly moist and tender. The potstickers were crisp and flavorful with the accompanying dipping sauce. The fresh side salad provided the best balance to the meal with the refreshing carrot dressing. The carrot dressing tasted just like how my grandma used to make it!I also appreciated that there was a bottle of teriyaki sauce at each table so that you can decide how much sauce you want on your food. It's a small yet thoughtful touch. My husband loved the beef teriyaki and hoarded the bottle of teriyaki sauce! We both inhaled our meals and it was so memorable that I had to order from them again not a few days later with UberEats. The UberEats order was absolute perfection! I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba with a side of potstickers and miso soup. The food arrived hot and all the flavors were on point. They also made sure to add all the utensils and sauces so nothing was forgotten. On our way to SeaTac to finally leave town, we stopped in for a final meal. I had to get the Teriyaki Special #5 again with the chicken and the potstickers. Again, everything was well made and it was so satisfying to have consistently delicious meals. Take the time to find this place when you're shopping around Southcenter. Those typical mall restaurants may be convenient but Teriyaki Time will give you consistent, delicious food and a welcoming environment.

Ordered to go, ordered 3 meals and 2 sides. Soon as I handed out to family my teenage son spots a few hairs on his chicken... needless to say everyone lost appetite. This was our 1st time ordering here the family is disappointed we like to pick up take out and we tend to eat late. But we won't be back

I've been eating Teriyaki in Seattle for 30+ years, I was near the mall and wanted to try a new place, did a search of nearby locations and Teriyaki Time had great reviews. Unfortunately, I believe this place is great for teenagers and those unfamiliar with other locations around the city. It's conveniently located right across the street from Southcenter, parking lot seems to be a car meet up location at times for younger people. Their online menu is a little confusing when it mentions "exclusions" I selected salad because I didn't want any, but that meant I would get ONLY salad and no rice. I went back inside right away and requested rice.....I KNOW they recognized me and I even said I JUST picked up my order, yet I was still charged nearly $5 for a small scoop rice, I should have just gone home to make my own. For the price point, the portions are small. The flavor wasn't bad, but due to portions, it's not worth it. I miss Happy Teriyaki that was on Southcenter Pkwy years ago, their portions would last you 2 days.

I came here after my bowling tournament and I live in East Washington. MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVED THIS PLACE. The only reason we plan on coming back to Seattle is to eat the Teriyaki Chicken and Noodles again. They are so delicious, prepared on spot, and have that authentic taste that can not be replicated. The staff is super nice, they are chill, no complaints. The restaurant itself is a little cramped but it really doesn't matter if you just enjoy your food. I love this place and will definitely be coming back!! I also love the decorations of chickens, they are so cuteee!!
