I'm from Texas and used to live in Mexico, i don't care for any mexican restaurant in Boston. This place has changed my mind. I got the shrimp taco plate and my partner got the Birria burrito. Both were bomb and we will def be returning. Come by and support this local mom and pop!

I am not a fan of most Mexican restaurants in this country but Tepeyac is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurant I have visited recently. It is a tiny little place mostly for take out and the type of restaurant that I typically would not go to but a friend of mine who is in the food industry here in Boston highly recommended the place so I decided to check it out and I am glad I did . Tepeyac has the best tacos I've ever eaten in Boston . The shrimp tacos are a standout but they are all amazing. This is now my go to for a quick lunch in the South End , just by the three taco special cross the street and enjoy the scenery on a bench at Peter's Park.

Excellent tiny takeout-focused spot- the lengua tacos were juicy tender and delicious, soft smooth tortillas, and I met the owner who was so nice. can't wait to try more items next time!
