We've been fans of TBW since moving to Nashville, but didn't get a chance to make it into the actual brewery until recently! I'm not sure why we waited so long, but I can guarantee you that we won't make that same mistake twice. On our way home from an after-hours event at Adventure Science Center, we saw some Tennessee Brew Works signs and decided to stop in. There's plenty of street parking available - and when you step inside, you're hit with a welcoming, local vibe that's reminiscent of any true Nashville staple. We walked up to the bar, and were greeted immediately by Jimmy. He let us know that they had just tapped the Oktoberfest keg that morning, and that he highly recommended trying it if we were in the mood for something fun. Jimmy also let us know that we could sit anywhere - inside or outside - and that they'd come and take our order there instead of us having to wait at the bar.Despite being busy with bachelorettes (this seems to be a popular stop for party buses), we had wonderful service on the patio throughout our visit. We didn't order any food this time around, but noted that they have a full kitchen. I decided on a flight, which comes with your choice of five of their drafts. My favorite was the Oktoberfest - and my husband and I agreed that it was extra crisp (again, probably because they had just tapped it!) The Tennessaké was also a fun, lighter beer -- perfect for sipping on a hot day. Their draft list is diverse enough that everyone from devout beer drinkers to those just dipping their toe into craft beer will find something they like. They even have a few cocktails and wine offerings. As with many local breweries, TBW does close at 10, but that's still plenty of time to enjoy this Music City favorite. I can't wait to return soon!

Had not been in for quite some time and finally got in on my birthday to check the place out again. While the beers are still not the best in Nashville (my opinion), there are a few on I really liked and other reasons to come.On this occasion, I was coming in to get a 1/2 price pour on premium bourbon, which they do every Tuesday (found out the last trip up). For my birthday, I got a 1/2 pour of the $185 Pappy 15 year. It would not be something I would routinely spend this much on, but it was a great bourbon and not overrated, like Blanton's. I also grabbed a cheese board.TN Brew Works sits in Pie town. It has free parking, which is harder to find in downtown Nashville and you can find a spot in their lot or on the street. The place itself is nicely set up on 2 levels (3 for their deck) and nicely done up in medium wood. The bar sits at the back. The venue routinely has music, so it is the only brewery I know in Nashville with regular music nights. They also have numerous specials from weekday happy hours to 1/2 price days, and so on.The food here is very good. I have some friends who think they go overboard, but while I do think this is a lot, it is not too much. So I disagree with them on that point. I got to try a new sour they were tapping while I was in there and I like the direction they are going with this one. The barrel aged beers are also on point. Overall, if you want to try their beer, I think you do a disservice not to come in.

My wife and I shared a burger and fries for lunch. My brother told us the burger and fries was good but we were both surprised how fresh and delicious it was - definitely is not your ordinary boring hamburger. Our only complaint is the parking in the area is very limited. Not sure I'd be real comfortable parking there after dark.

When we initially walked in we were waiting to be served, upon walking to the bar to order we were told this place is full service and asked to go back to our table. Took 10 minutes for our server to come over. Beer was subpar couldn't even finish my hippies and cowboy beer. Buddy of mine got the lager urban hiker. And was very flat and not tasteful. Our server went to sit down and eat a meal with other staff members, which would've been fine had someone replaced her. The toilet was clogged and was literally brimming all over the outside toilet and floor. I saw they had many reviews that were excellent. I guess we just caught them on an off day?

Be wary of dipping sauces, apparently food safety is not taught to a staff member here. I watched a staff member combine multiple already used condiments into a couple of containers recapped them and threw away the empty plastics and bring the "recapped" dipping sauces back down to the kitchen. Can't trust the dipping sauce. Beers were good though.

This is a nice little spot. There was live music and very kind staff that checked in on us multiple times. The Venue is huge and has multiple levels both inside and out - great for groups. We sat on the outdoor patio and ordered the mango ipa and one of their other IPAs. Beer was okay - nothing to write home about, but the vines were great and the food was also pretty good. The shoe string fries and their special ketchup are fantastic. I got the nashville hot chicken (which was not hot) and she got their grilled cheese which was also delicious. We would come back for the food and vibes for sure

My fiancé and I came here on a Thursday evening. The place is huge, and there were more than enough seats inside and out. I tried the grilled cheese, which was especially cheesy. The seasonal jam added a lovely sweat note. Can't say enough good things about the fries and homemade ketchup; fries were seasoned beautifully and perfectly crunchy. We both had IPAs, which were about average for a craft IPA. However, the service was amazing. The staff checked on us multiple times throughout our visit and always friendly. Will return with our dog for sure!

Being from Wisconsin, we had to try out a brewery tour. It's a hop on hop off so you can just have a couple and move along. Worth it, but that's a different review. Tennessee Brew Works has everything I love about a craft brewery. Great service, amazing beer, some food, and a welcoming ambience. We tried a few flights to see what we liked and I don't think there was a terrible beer in the bunch. Like anything it depends on what you like, but we definitely fell in love with the Queens Legacy and the State Park Blonde Ale.We only spent an hour here, but the service was quick, the place was tidy, and the beer was good. I would happily go back.

Didn't try any food ambit came here for the first time with a coworker. We went upstairs to the bar and the bartender was very nice. We came here on a Wednesday evening and they had a pretty good crowd and they had live music. When upstairs you can see into the brewery which was pretty cool. I would like to gone back and try the food next time. Super chill vibes, great for small group or date.

Cute little brewery. I had the wit which was good. I did not try any food here. They have board games, an outdoor area and darts. The band is not super loud which is lovely.
