I really do not recommend this place...... food is okay. It's typical msg food. The soup base can be purchased in most Asian grocery market and you can make your own ingredients they offer there. What made it an unpleasant and will-never-return experience was the attitude of the staffs. First this is a place that requires no services and there is actually no service. You order the food yourself . They bring them to you. And that's all. We were there and we order couple of things. When we finished we paid, of course. As the waiter saw the balance, he said, "you didn't give tips." We were like shocked he asked for it. We were not adding tips on the credit card amount because we happened to have cash on us for the tip amount. And since we really don't use cash much these days, we wanted to "get rid of" the cash on us. I feel like this tipping culture has gone a bit extreme and too far. It started way back when when most workers in the restaurant industry was not paid fairly and most of them weren't provided with health insurance. Tip is not a requirement, it is an at-will gesture when a great service is provided over a meal. Yet these days, some Asian companies feel they are entitled for a tip. With that, I don't think we'd like to return to this place because we can definitely pay more and go to tk a nicer place with better services that truly deserve tips.

I've had this restaurant in San Diego and the service was exceptional but this location was a different story. My family and I were in town and we stopped by to grab a bite. We waited about 20 minutes before getting seated. Interior was tidy. They sat us down and did not inform us about the QR code menu until we asked about it. They didn't check on us at all so it was difficult to get water refills, and the tab. 3/5 for the food only, but the service could definitely be better.

Yelp had recommended this restaurant based in so many positive reviews and it lives up to it.I love hotpot but I'm only usually going to AYCE or other places where you get a big pot with ingredients and you share it but this place is great if you want fast in & out with everything for yourself! Love the individual bowl that's hot enough to keep your hotpot nice and warm throughout the whole meal because it's a stone bowl I believe. My better half and I both chose the spicy beef option and opted for an extra side each of sliced lamb to add variety and try but I don't recommend that because it's not worth the price for 5 little frozen slices and everything else is enough to fill you up anyways.I got one boba milk tea also to try because I like to judge places by that to see if it's an after thought or they actually care for boba and it was a 3.5-5, goes nice to cool your tastebuds and stomach during and after your meal.Service was good and prompt, simply seat you with water and few mins later take your order and leave you be until you throw in your ingredients and they will do a quick drive by and takeaway your plates to free up arm space to eat away! Nice people good experience. All in all I would definitely recommend this place it's fun and filling with good flavor if you stick with the main entree's. Will be back to try more!

The staff were very accommodating as we had a large party, and they were able to put some tables together for us so we could all sit together. I ordered the tomato pork chop and was disappointed as the soup tasted like tomato soup from a can and did not have any asian flavors to the soup. The pork chop was also a little tough and hard to eat as well. I tried some of the pork bone soup, and that one tasted a lot better. We ordered some popcorn chicken to share, and that was byfar my favorite dish. It was very well seasoned and the chicken was nice and juicy and tender. I would come back just to get the popcorn chicken!

We arrived at 8:30pm, but they welcomed us right away even though they're closing in half an hour. Once seated, they have menus for you. You also have the option to order through a QR code or with a waiter. It's my first time trying Yunnan rice noodle, which I enjoyed. It's kind of fun how they give you all the ingredients separately in tiny bowls to put into your broth. It makes it very Instagram-worthy even if that's not their intention. I ordered the Spicy Beef Brisket Rice Noodles ($17.49) and also shared the Crispy Chicken Wings ($8.50). The wings come with 5 pieces and they're super crispy and juicy. They also come piping hot, so be careful as I burned the top of my mouth attempting to eat this. As for the rice noodles, this didn't seem much at first but was pretty filling. I felt slightly rushed to put all my ingredients into my bowl so they could take away my tray, but the food was delicious. This is perfect for a cold day as the stone pot keeps everything warm throughout the meal. This is such a comforting meal. The broth flavor was spot on while not being too spicy either. Also love the aesthetics of the space with a modern and natural feel.

Love this rice noodle place! I love the stone kept all the food warm and lightly cooked. It's the authentic style just like the rice noodle in Yunnan, China. Service was alright here, but you had the fun partially making your own food here!Quite a nice place to try Chinese food!

TLDR: Perfect for a cold day! A hug in noodle soup form.We ordered the Original Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles, the Spicy Beef Brisket Rice Noodle, and the popcorn chicken.Original - If you've never had this particular Yunnan style of noodle soup, I'd definitely start with this. The soup comes piping hot and you have an assortment of ingredients/toppings to add in. It's a wonderful blend of different flavors and textures, like the tender fatty meat, the crunchy wood ear mushrooms and chives, and the slippery rice noodles themselves. It's an incredibly comforting dish with nice flavors that aren't overly dramatic.Spicy Beef - If you've already tried the original or come here with multiple people, this is a great option too. It's much stronger in flavor - the soup is saltier and more meaty, and has heat with a bit of numbing. This one's a good option to add extra beef slices into! Really umami and flavorful, definitely much stronger than the original, so it depends what you're looking for. Both was perfect for us!The portions are huge and the service is very quick. Our popcorn chicken came out almost a bit too quick. It wasn't very hot, meaning it wasn't freshly fried. Would've had 5 stars otherwise, great food for the price!

overall: 4/5food: 3.5/5service: 5/5ambiance: 5/5i recently came back to have ten seconds again (3 years later), and the meal is exactly as i remember. i ordered the R8- golden soup crossing bridge rice noodles! nothing too special, but a yummy meal to have to warm you up and clear your sinuses. only downside is the salty aftertaste in your mouth after the meal. i got the lunch combo meal (available monday-friday for $19.99) and it included a green tea, a crossing noodles dish, and a side dish of your choice on the menu. the popcorn chicken was truly the star of the show! food showed up really quickly and the service was great. everyone was attentive and servers came to fill up our water cups. side note: the workers can speak english, but predominantly speak mandarin.
