Our 130 gal. bain marie still. All of our products are distilled here in Lynnwood, WA. We are proud to be local, small batch distillers.
Award winning, locally distilled gins and limoncello. Chapter One London Dry Gin was recently named Sip NW's best Gin of the Northwest!
AJ & Jamie Temple took their passion for gin to a new level in 2015, opening Lynnwood's first distillery.

Wow! Everything about what these guys are doing blows me away. 1. I still can hardly get used to how many little distilleries there are these days that know what they're doing and make products that are clearly better than most of the main brands that have dominated the industry forever. 2. So it's hard for me to remember that lil' ol' Lynnwood has a distillery of its own, and it's doing incredible things.3. For now, these guys focus on gin. It's so cool to see that focusing on one, somewhat less-popular spirit can keep a business afloat. 4. The gin they make is all great, and one of their more specialty batches was placed among the top 100 spirits in the world by Wine Enthusiast last year. 5. They emphasize classic dry British gins, rather than the heavily-flavored interpretations of most of U.S. gin makers.6. They produce different gins for different gin cocktails--I never realized that a martini, a negroni, an aviation, a G&T, and other cocktails would taste way better mixed with different gins. But they do.7. They can make some cocktails in their tasting room. They can't make anything with alcoholic mixers (e.g., no martinis) due to regulation, but they can mix with virgin mixers. 8. You can also taste all four house gins and the house lemoncello one by one. I'm the last guy you should ask about cocktails. I drink beer, and a tiny bit of wine or scotch. No cocktails. But These guys make it interesting and fun. Three of us dudes hit up this place yesterday, and took down three flights of tiny tasters and three different cocktails, total. I have to say this was an amazing change of pace for me (for all of us), and for somebody who drinks cocktails this would be a bread-and-butter place. We all left with bottles. They're really engaged with the industry--they organize bartending competitions, they design new liquors with bartenders and others they like, they stay in touch with other distillers so they can buy wet barrels, they stay in touch with breweries so they can sell their own wet barrels, and they have tons of cool ideas for future products and expansions and getting in touch with more customers. These guys know what's up for sure. If you have any interest at all in gin cocktails, ya gotta check 'em out. Their prices blow away the well-known "fancy" brands, and their gins are clearly a cut above all the rest.

Very nice tasting room. Love the pictures of the herbs and the vials of them on the wall explaining what is in gin. Cool viewing window to the distillery. Really yummy cocktails.

A bit of a drive to get to but they definitely delivered some quality gins. They offer four different recipes that you can taste including a limoncello version that was quite lovely. They also have a handful of gin based cocktails you can try - we had the old fashioned which was quite delicious. The bottle designs are exceptional and if you're looking for a unique gift for the holidays (or really anytime) you should give them a try.

I purchased a tasting through Groupon because I had read an article about Temple Distilling. I was excited to try the Limoncello, but left in love with the Navy Strength Gin. AJ made some excellent cocktails and had some great historical stories about Gin. It's always a pleasure to listen to someone that has a passion for what they do in life. I highly recommend a tasting at Temple Distilling for anyone that would just like a pleasurable, chill experience and to support a super cool local business. Not to mention that the liquor is amazing. Cheers!

A brand new distillery open this month in Lynwood, featuring "Chapter One" a traditional London gin. They are also offering a "Navy strength" (114 proof) version, with a few more notes of pepper and citrus. Both were nicely balanced, and would make an excellent martini or gin & tonic. Proprietor and distiller AJ Temple has plans to expand their product line to include Limoncello (hopefully next summer!) and eventually whiskey. Temple is not currently available in bars or liquor stores, so in order to try it, you'll need to stop by during their tasting hours. Currently, I think they are only going to be open on Saturdays from 12:00 - 5:00, but these hours may change. The distillery is located in a light-industrial warehouse campus, so be sure to get directions and look for the sandwich board on the main street.

Small distillery in Lynnwood that survived through Covid-19 and that says a lot. They have solid tasty gin products but my favorite is the lemoncello. Even our Italian friends are fans of this. Perfect balanced gin based lemon liquor with a full load of flavors that is perfect to end a meal or can just skip on it during the summertime. They actually peel the lemon rind by hand to avoid the white part that tastes very bitter. Another good thing about this place is they serve super tasty cocktails using their own products or from local sources. Their menu changes every month so we always have something new to try each time we come here. The staff and owners are friendly and very attentive. The only con of this place is its tiny space with limited seating. As long as you don't hate gin, go here and order yourself a tasty cocktail from this place!

We had won a free tasting and made the trip up to try out the offerings. I'm not a hard alcohol fan but my husband was pleasantly surprised by the quality of gins. They had three guns and a limoncello to try plus the owner made a small tasting cocktail for my husband which he thoroughly enjoyed. The distillery is hidden in a business complex like many small operation in Washington but we noted how clean and organized their facility was compared to others we've visited. Two thumbs up for taking such pride in their work! Their labels and fun literature themed names were an added bonus for us though we weren't sure how they tided to the company's name. Well worth a stop if you're in the area (open Saturday afternoons and by appointment during the week). They distribute in various locations in Washington and I believe are expanding to Idaho and Montana. If you're a gin drinker look for them on the shelves!
