Teddys Tavern

This place is the Nashville I remember. The burger I had was not that great but I was hungry and didn't care. The house beer at Teddy's is simply amazing, and the place exudes an old Nashville charm that's a refreshing change from the commercialized Nash-Vegas vibe that seems to dominate the city. It feels like you can't walk two steps without bumping into the latest artist's newest upcoming bar. Teddy's offers a welcome escape from all that commercial noise. If you're craving the authentic Nashville experience, this is the place to be. As a bonus Zack Neal on acoustic was great on a Wednesday!

Stopped in this place around 10pm for a bite to eat based on others reviews, and we were sorry we did.Place wasn't really busy - a contrast to every place around it, that should have been a hint.Musical act was mediocre at best, but we were hungry so it didn't matter.Ordered 2 rum and cokes, a fried Mac and cheese and an order of the pretzels on the bartenders recommendations.The drinks were weak, pretty much like every bar in the area, but the food was absolutely terrible. The Mac and cheese bites were overcooked and flavorless. The pretzels which should have been hard to screw up were even worse. Dripping with grease, flavorless, with a side of microwaved and separated cheese dip. God awful...... then the bill comes, close to $80 before tip. For 2 horrible appetizers and 2 weak drinks. What a bad experience, and the atmosphere of the place was equally bad. Down right depressing. Never again......

Born & raised in Nashville Arrived here during lunch time (12:30) 5/6/24 thought I'd give it a chance. I'll keep this short and sweet - Bartender(s) : no hospitality/ not greeted/ - didn't even crack a smile.- Had to ask for a food & drink menu.- Got the menu, sat down and realized I'd rather spend my hard earned cash elsewhere so left.I was wondering why they were empty and everything else on broadway was crowded - Now I have the answer to my question I likely won't be back. I'll stick it to legends, Jacks & Tootsies. My hope / intention for this post is staff can get some training on how to be more hospitable and how to appropriately greet their customers.

I love this little place, it has such fun and friendly staff! I just tried their food for the first time and was blown away. If you need a quick good bite on Broadway this is the place to go. They usually have live music on the first floor, and the place is small enough that you get that really "local pub feeling". They have a roof top as well and it has both sun and shade, so pick your poison!

This is a great spot to hang out if you want to be downtown near Broadway but not be on the main street. The staff was friendly and super personable. The space can be small in the upstairs lounge but there's a rooftop too if you need fresh air!

Stopped in for a quick bite around 10 pm, place was mostly empty, but went based on Yelp reviews.Very unfriendly greeting, had to ask for menus, ordered 2 appetizers and 2 drinks. The food was awful, so greasy it was inedible. . Drinks weak, not even sure there was any liquor. Bill was over $80..... not sure why so many good reviews. It was down right depressing, a mediocre band playing and not many people there, while the rest of Broadway was packed. Would not be my choice ever again. Sorry to write such a bad review, maybe if staff had been pleasant we could chalk it up to an off night, but I don't think so.

I was craving something hearty after a night of drinking . I decided on a burgers . Teddys tavern got really high reviews for the burgers so I said what the heck . Overall the food was really good . The burger had a nice flavor to it and the fries were well seasoned . The ambiance of the place was fun and they had a live band playing so that was nice .

Ate dinner here after wandering around Nashville. Small menu, great service. We both had the burger and it was cooked very well and had great flavor.Looking for something low key, try this!

Saw best burger, walked in, and I think my picture says a lot. It was so good, it was 1/2 gone before I remembered to snap a photo. Oh, and as you know the people make a difference and these folks were amazing! It's small, but it's good!
