Delicious bubble tea (you can adjust sugar and ice levels) and great food...the tofu with rice is very tasty! Service is super friendly and fast and there is plenty of seating...only issue may be parking which is difficult during busy times (there is a parking lot behind the building but it's shared with other businesses and the spaces are small). Also bathroom is pretty average and basic but adequate for emergencies. This place has been here for many years and I would always come here when I lived in San Diego decades ago...I always try to visit now when I'm in the area...

I was craving Taiwanese popcorn chicken with my honeydew smoothie - so I ordered their crispy chicken (thigh). Prices are getting steep for snacks, I suppose...It was nearly $7 for a crispy chicken (thigh) snack... and the small to-go container was half full... v disappointing

I love tea n more so much. It is my go to spot for studying. So many outlets and it's spacious. The food is delicious and the drinks are fantastic. And they replaced the toilet and I can peacefully poop. This place will always be a fav, I highly recommend!!

Texture of boba 10/10! Not too chewy, not too mushy, JUST RIGHT! Plenty of seating and quick service.

This place has been here for a really long time! Many things have not changed over the years such as boba and drinks that are reasonably priced and feature more traditional and basic flavors, but are still very tasty and high quality, especially the boba which was really fresh with just the right consistency. Many folks also come to study here because there is a spacious indoor seating area with ample power outlets. There are some board games available to play too - really a place to hangout!I really enjoyed the matcha milk tea with boba that I had - solid traditional flavors with excellent boba.

3.5 stars. I love coming to this place to get some work done. The space is spacious and has plenty of tables. Has free wifi. Noise level quiet enough while I work on my laptop. They have a self-order station, so I don't usually talk to an employee. Iced honey black tea tastes good, no complaints whatsoever. Tried their fried tofu and could use some more seasoning or definitely needs the included sauce (ranch), but I still demolished the whole thing. Although many tables, half of them seemed wobbly and would move every time I would type or write, but there are some sturdier ones when you find the right one. The tables were clean but the bathrooms aren't. Although I didn't talk to someone to order, the times I did interact with someone was a hit or miss. Sometimes they greet you when you come in/say thank you when you take your drink.... and sometimes they don't. No worries though, I think the best part is the fact that I have another place to get some work done at.

I needed a place to study....and eat. This place was close to my next stop and this popped up on Yelp.AMBIANCE:Parking: Plaza parking in the back. It shouldn't be an issue but sometimes they host socials.Seating: Room for maybe 50 people. Great for groups, pairs, or if you want to study.Feels: You're in the Convoy thus it's a popping place especially with eateries. The space itself is well-lit and pretty spacious. There's minimal decor and books. If there was music I couldn't hear it due to the social and the hustle and bustle of the cafe. Great to study, eat, or socialize.FOOD:Popcorn Chicken Combo + Chinese Sausage (Recommend)Delicious! The chicken was juicy and fresh. The crunch was delightful and the spicy seasoning gave it a good kick. The broccoli and rice balanced out the savoriness. I requested for a la carte in Chinese Sausage and that complimented the flavors.Green Tea (Recommend)Great! Chilled and refreshing with green tea bitterness with a hint of sweetness.CUSTOMER SERVICE:Trevor was great! He made the a la carte order of Chinese sausage possible. Thank you!TL; DR OVERALL:4.5 Stars. Awesome! A pleasant range of drinks, food, and desserts, the prices were fair, and I liked the community vibe to this place. This place is great! I could see myself coming back here. I hope to try everything in their menu.Tips:* 10% discount if you're a student

Though this place has had many owners throughout the years. I always enjoy that they have a spacious comfortable space. I always order drinks and food here as I tend to stay long to get work done but I appreciate a space as such to hang out play games or even do work. Always very friendly customer service and I will always say that they have the best takoyaki in town because it isn't soggy and always crispy and delicious. I love their beef sukiyaki bowl too!! Popcorn chicken is tasty but pretty standard. I enjoy rose milk tea with aloe or plain green jasmine tea. Overall, it's a satisfying place with a great atmosphere where I have many fond memories and will keep returning. My favorite boba shop in San Diego!!!

It's fine. It doesn't stand out at all in terms of food. There's a lot of seating here though and it opens late which is nice.

I really enjoyed their Thai tea, and the banana tea. Their boba was flavorful and didn't get hard until the next day in the fridge which is good. They seem to have a fun ambiance and plenty of games, little toy machines, and people doing puzzles. Their service was good, they were fast. My only issue is that I am lactose intolerant (which many people still don't believe it exists...strange) and I paid almost a dollar extra to get oat milk and within minutes of drinking it I felt the rumbling pain of milk/lactose ingestion. I KNOW when something has milk within 20 minutes, less on an empty stomach. Thank goodness for lactase digest pills and pepto. It's a shame I couldn't give 5 as I prefer their Thai tea to most others nearby and would 100% get the banana milk tea again. I'll honestly probably try them again eventually.
